Good morning my politically savvy emir. I guess all that hood and turban hoodwinked u from realising this much earlier. Being a seasoned economist and former CBN governor, you would agree with me that salaries and allowances are two different things. So what you propose is not good enough. You said sometime ago, whilst in government, at a discuss on I think subsidy that you cannot remember the last time you dipped hands in your pocket (salary) to buy PMS. By inference, you had a car maintenance and fuel allowance which you enjoyed. I would like to second the opinions of some fellow nairalanders above which questions the political sagacity of the emir - the corrupt, decrepit, putrid, greedy, callous, selfish, self aggrandizing NASS will ensure the emir's suggestion does not leave his palace! |

@DSS,IGP Do u guys have the balls to go after the Prof? I know u can't even conceive it in ur little, "obey the last order" minds ![]() |
He must be acting ![]() |
Wow! For a moment, these guys almost got me there. Painful truth is that they don't have the balls to secede. |
Dear NNPC, this seems a misplaced priority. Which oil is NNPC looking for after several failed exploration attempts in the North? What's the use of crude oil when we can't refine locally? Rather, NNPC should channel their energy to fixing refineries! |

In other words, your pastor has a God, so do your parents, but it appears you don't even have a god! Get one quickly! Secondly, does the God of your pastor differ from that of your parents? Happy you came through unscathed though. |
NORSIYK:Its STRAP pls, not stripe |
Pls tell me that's the title of his next film ![]() |
I troway salute for this voodoo government even as I shake my head in Swahili. Why? This is because all I hear is "we will"," we plan to"," we r going to", all to, to, to, with no achievement! |
Like joke, like joke, they may be telling what the future holds for their union! ![]() |
mmsen:And you sincerely think "viral pathology" stuff is more related to law than to medicine. Too early in the day to be high on rum. |
Keeping it real bro. Your hustle will soon pay off. I admire your humility and frankness. |
Ishilove:Sis, you just hit it. I hav nothing more to add. |
Ah! Ah! What happin? So it's true Nigeria is cursed. Imagine our AGF doing all he can to stop the truth from being unravelled. Why are we like this? Coming Friday, you will see AGF in one mosque praying and looking so innocent, yet his heart appears filled with evil and guile. So what is the use of the prayer from a heart like this? Is it aimed at making naija better or worse? I just don't get it. |
Oh! So AFeeCee (APC) now believes in subsidy! The best and worst of politicians is stil a politician. Rather than be pragmatic with a definite timeframe for getting our refineries up and running at full capacity, they have chosen the lee-way of subsidy. God cannot continue to bless these heartless set of politicians...........your guess as to what God should mete out to them is as good as mine |
Pastor Bakare, I have a lot of respect for you. However in this matter, you sorely missed it. Why skip our ceremonial, tribalistic, religious and ethnic bigot of a president at whose feet all blame lies for failing to give decisive orders, only to go for boys that only obey orders. If this is not hypocrisy, please dear pastor, pray tell |
Ortom is a heartless, Lilly-livered stooge whose political survival is more important to him than the lives and properties of the people he was sworn in to protect. If he is serious about the situation of things in his state, he should place a call to MR "Loose Cannon" FAYOSE for tutorials ASAP! |
My dear sis, the fault is squarely yours. What definite action did you take when those "lists" were flying right, left and center? Did you stand up for your husband? Did you threaten to put marriage proceedings on hold until "sane" lists were brought forward? This culture that gives certain people who don't know anything about your life's journey the impetus to be headstrong and actively involved when a woman is to be given away in marriage should be jettisoned forthwith. In my opinion, Marriage contracts should be negotiated by parents of the bride and groom alone. This will reduce needless complexities. It goes without saying that due diligence such as background checks etc must have been carried out by both kindred before settling down for the marriage contract itself. My sisters, if you are convinced the man you brought home is the person you wish to spend the rest of your life with, bear his name and children, then stand by him until those greedy uncles back down on their outrageous pre-marriage demands. Why would you spend your honeymoon money on frivolous lists and ceremonies that will be quickly forgotten in as little a space as 2weeks? Why would you descend to smoking garium sulphate, not by choice, but by compulsion after marriage? My two-kobo. |
sarrki:You are on your own! |
cowleg:Am so happy for you. Please when you are settled over there, kindly lend a helping hand to brothers left behind so they can migrate legally out of this shithole of a country. |
In my opinion, six steps are too much. Only one step is necessary: Cover the syllabus and solve all past question papers correctly! |

U are a survivor sis. A veritable source of encouragement to others who are presently in the state you were previously. Please endeavour to write the book you talked about. Who knows, this experience could be your life mission. Everyone is created for a purpose - to identify a problem(s) and provide solution(s) for the good of humanity. Until a person identifies his/her life purpose, that person hasn't began to live! Congrats yet again sis. |
Please is that his job? Naija no.1 melodramatic governor! He should ensure workers and pensioners are fully and promptly paid amongst other things. |
josephokoh:Check no.4 |
dhamstar:This is not true. I bought the rice in September and am yet to sight a single stone in it. Pls endeavour to pass across right and verifiable information, don't misinform on this platform. |

arijay:GULLIBLE NIGERIANS! |
Fashola and his elitist moves. Come to think of it, what really has this APC/CHANGE govt done for us tangibly? All they know is how to take from us and subject us to all sorts of inconveniences. I blame Nigerians and myself as well for the hypnotic docility! I recall vividly the reason these bulwarks were demolished in the first place - a certain percentage is to be deducted per litre of petrol/diesel purchased by vehicle owners, made sense at the time whilst easing movement and curtailing spate of accidents and armed robberies. I don't know if that policy is still in effect - superman elitist minister owes us that much before embarking on this wasteful venture of erecting, not 1,2,3 but 38 concrete pay points which ,to make matters worse, would be concessioned to private companies! Did I hear u say APC CROONIES? |
