Tribalism is a big problem o. I cannot count how many articles I have come across from "an ex-Obasanjo wife" over the years. Yoruba each time. One was about the prophesy for her son not to marry at a particular time and how OBJ went ahead without inviting her the mother. Although she attended anyway?

I have also read one from a Yoruba ex-wife of OBJ about how violent OBJ was even in early days of marriage. How she would listen in on OBJ talking on landline phone to his married lover woman. How OBJ would become violent towards on realising she had been listening.

Whether the girl's mum is Igbo or not really isn't relevant when you consider the fact that everybody else in this story is Yoruba. This shouldn't be a tribal matter but if he wants to take it in that direction then it's not the Igbos he should be discussing.

This has everything to do with politics; if the correct safety measures had been taken then none of this would have happened. Your government, that you so whole-heartedly support, has no regard for human life beyond their own families and that's why this avoidable incident has happened.

He's right, by refusing to fully condemn the herdsmen's actions, Buhari is indirectly supporting them. I don't see how anyone could still support 'One Nigeria' with him in charge .

He's apologised for the comment so anyone who was offended by his comment should accept the apology and move on. It's that simple.

Both of these people were in the wrong as they're prominent Nigerians who are supposed act professionally. Imo, the Oba is worse because he was actually supporting genocide with his comment. Such savagery should not be allowed in a country that claims to be civilised.

He'll never get 70% of votes in any of the Igbo state's (not just the South-East). Was it not just a few months ago that he ordered the murders of hundreds of innocent Igbo protesters? We can forgive but we will never forget.
