Ipobians have lost it completely

They reason like cowards

Why didn't the Buhari administration ensure that safety regulations were fully conducted by the companies that send out these tankers? This is what happens in civilised countries.

This are criminal elements that wants the country to explode at all cost

Since there aim to get it through war could not be achieved ,

The python dance silenced them

Now they are using media propaganda to cause animosity among citizens

Igbos are barbarians

Why did the Buhari administration allow for such a huge tanker filled with a highly flammable substance to be travelling along a busy road? Why weren't proper safety precautions taken?

Politics / Re: Taiwo Obasanjo: "Tope Adebutu Bent On Destroying Olujonwo Obasanjo, My Son" by Ngozi123(f): 3:44pm On Jul 01, 2018
AreaFada2:

Tribalism is a big problem o. I cannot count how many articles I have come across from "an ex-Obasanjo wife" over the years. Yoruba each time. One was about the prophesy for her son not to marry at a particular time and how OBJ went ahead without inviting her the mother. Although she attended anyway?

I have also read one from a Yoruba ex-wife of OBJ about how violent OBJ was even in early days of marriage. How she would listen in on OBJ talking on landline phone to his married lover woman. How OBJ would become violent towards on realising she had been listening.

I have lost count. Whether it is the same Yoruba woman or various ones once married to OBJ I do not even know.

The son who publicly accused OBJ of sleeping with his wife, was he raised by an Igbo woman too?

I always felt ashamed for them each time I read them washing their VERY dirty linen publicly.

We should please be fair. It's not all about tribe.

Thank you. Tribe shouldn't be a matter here.

Tribalism will not get You anywhere man. If the recent happenings in the country hasn't taught you that then I wonder what will.

Went you hear or read stuff, argue objectively and not with a biased mindset. The quality of life in this country is very evident in the way we reason.

Are you categorically saying igbo women are the cause of marital problems? I don't need to cite examples, I guess you can answer that yourself.

From the bitterness detected in these posts, it seems that that poster is a woman, not a man.

People have a way of trying to blame others for their misfortunes. If Igbo is the problem, why is her mother still with her father. Most Yoruba men are not the best of husbands, gaskia, i have first hand experiences.

Just leave the woman, she's an unrepentant tribalist. Tbh, I don't believe that their tribe is related to their behaviour, I just wanted her to see how flawed her logic is.

First off the word is "Igbo" not "Ibo" you ignorant idiot.

Secondly, who told you that the lady in question was raised in the eastern part of the country?

Whether the girl's mum is Igbo or not really isn't relevant when you consider the fact that everybody else in this story is Yoruba. This shouldn't be a tribal matter but if he wants to take it in that direction then it's not the Igbos he should be discussing.

The way Yoruba think, due to the age of our civilization, is far advanced and ahead of what Ibo can comprehend. You will never hear a Yoruba mother in an affluent family put her in-law business on the air like this. Ibos dont see it wrong to be uncouth. Whe you marry yanminri beware there are cultural risks added ontop other risks acquired with the marriage.

Isn't that exactly what the boy's mother did in the first place? Is she now an Igbo woman too?

The woman is a born and raised Igbo woman, so this is not bringing ibo in, you are part of it from the get go. Mothers are the ones who instil values in their children and mothers are the ones mentioned when children behave bad especially girl child, reason the flashlight is on her mother who happens to be Igbo.

The girl's father that was allegedly threatening the guy, which tribe is he from?

Mama, let your son learn his lesson by suffering a little bit more. You told him but he didn't listen, so let him dance to it. Yoruba men still have a lot to learn that you can't make an ibo raised woman a wife under any disguise, not even with burrowed Yoruba name, it's a ticking time bomb.

Don't bring Igbo into this, this is a Yoruba family, not an Igbo one.

Please lives are involved

Everything is not politics

This has everything to do with politics; if the correct safety measures had been taken then none of this would have happened. Your government, that you so whole-heartedly support, has no regard for human life beyond their own families and that's why this avoidable incident has happened.

From what I read, she's the mother of his first 4 children and his second wife, a mixed-race lady, is the mother of his younger children. Was this guy born of an affair between Uba and a Yoruba lady? I've not read that anywhere.

If the army didn't go against the justice system by invading his home to harass him then the judge would have a point here but because of the actions of the army, Senator Abiribe cannot be held accountable for Kanu's disappearance. He could be dead, for all we know.

Perhaps you've not noticed the same people responsible for these killings are also killing Igbos in their land (I don't even want to state the fact that there's at least, an Igbo family in every corner of the country and most probably in in those villages that were attacked over the last weekend) . Retributive justice playing out on Igbos too?
Keep it in mind that Yorubaland would be the last place this kind of massacre will take place, so if you're looking where else the killer herdsmen will turn after the middle belt, think south east.

The herdsmen have attacked communities in every geopolitical region in the South in addition to some in the Middle Belt. This is not a time to be so divisive.
