You r absolutely right, our leaders; the national Assembly pple should start immediately to impeach him. It is their obligation. However, I would not accept or encourage the acting president to do anything against him, it is unconstitutional. The only constitutional move is impeaching him by the national assembly

Exactly my thought! Jonathan should not do anything against Yara'dua, its not in his office to impeach him rather the national assembly. The national assembly are only good at deciving us with their rigorous and bogus interpretations. With those twisting meanings with their big grammar

Jonathan needs to be careful and very diplomatic. His leaving the office at this critical time huh! he needs to watch his back.

USA, always there, cant say whether for selfish or selfless reasons.

The U.S. was the first major foreign power to publicly congratulate Jonathan after he assumed executive powers in February from ailing President Umaru Yar’adua, who remains too sick to govern.

As a man of God you must listen to anybody after all Billy Graham visited all USA president we are to personal in this part of the world. What is wrong with black man mentality.stop playing to the gallery.

You are getting it all wrong.  No one is against his visit but the circumstance surrounding his visit.  What makes his visit personal when Nigerians have been in the dark.  If he actually has seen him, would it be much to say, oh our president is alive, that could put to rest these much agitations.

He does not want to commit himself by saying yes or no so, why did he go, of what good is his visit to the nigerian populace?  We are looking unto him for a solace, where is the intergrity he is preaching if he can not tell his folowers at least, the president is alive.  Is this not the bone of contention?

Maybe the orisa worshipers would be the one to tell us the truth. What a shame!

How can you put IOU in a vault, IOU's are normally given to tellers and not to the vault. I bet Afribank lacks checks and balances because one person does not even go into the vault alone nor have the combinations to the vault's lock. Its usually two people mostly the head of operations and the cash officer. I feel whatever had happened is as a result of the BACKWARD and inefficient banking done by Afribank. And what happened to CCTV? which is supposed to be viewed at all time by the branch's resident auditor, branch leader and head of Operations.

Nigerian banking system is so yesterday

What suprises me is the rationale behind the dropping of IOU notes in the vault, to make up the weight of the vaults or the cash content of the vault. And how come no one picks up the notes. Any banker in the house?

The day, Murtala Yara'dua accepted to serve under Goodluck Jonathan's government was the day i became so sure that Musa is dead.

I have thought over it over and over and i am sure that the only reason he would accept the position is on the grounds that  Musa Yara'dua is a "living  or dead corpse" either way, he wont come back to hunt for him.  pronto.

If its not true, let Murtala speak up.

I think we are saying the smae thing but basically from different angle.

I have been talking more in respect to marriages while i think u are talking relatively to courtship or mere relationships.

no one likes cheating but in marriages, its not easy to pull out, i would rather hold on. there are other ways to punish a cheat.

I repeat if its still courtship, i will walk away to save myself future heart break. but as a married woman, i wont work aways espeically with children, nay! i will hold my home. pronto!

so your the weak one when your partner cheats on you?? interesting *rubs chin* veeery interesting

not all men cheat dear- youll be a better judge of character- so the next and the next poo is junk

No dear, maybe u did not get my line, your line of arguement that leaving a cheating patner makes one a better person is not true. U rather become a better person by working on your weakness which may also be improving on your tolerant measure.

There is higher tendency that ur next patner may cheat also so when u are ready to leave one also be so ready to leave another incase he errs too. Not all men are cheats yet because you are not the man, you cant possibly say if he would cheat, u see!

Leaving cant really solve the problem of cheating. grin grin

@~Bluetooth

nigeria is a sovereign nation and the president is the symbol of that sovereignity, therefore the president is the first upholder of the constitution.since he is the number one citizen, all loaylty are directed to him.

Kai!!! na Bluetooth talk this one? u fall my hands no be small!

Thanks God it was not during Sani's regime u talk this one.

And wherefore the president fails in his bid to protect and uphold the said constitution, should the whole system become comatosed? The sovereignity of the nigerian state is not dependent on the president but the propagations of the diplomatic relation and constitution.

Dora talks too much u said? Her loud mouth saved us when all small mouths were closed. Thanks to big mouth!
RomanceRe: How Tolerant Are You by Ninapha(f): 11:03am On Apr 01, 2010
leaving a man for cheating can onli make u a better person, and help u make better choices in future!

80% of these african women are maltreated, beaten, abused, stoned beheaded, starved, despoiled, the list can go on

then again its not culture, its not religion, its pure mentality
!

@ayettemama

and if the next person cheats too and the next and the next grin grin grin would you then keep leaving from one man to another? I am not saying its ok with me, if its still a courtship thing then one saves herself from future heartbreak by doing what suits her but if its in marriage, hey! i dont see how leaving would make u a better person, u dont get better by experimenting but by realising your weakness working on them.

its not about mentality, its about holding on! we all know what is painful!
RomanceRe: How Tolerant Are You by Ninapha(f): 9:49am On Apr 01, 2010
@ayettemama

thats the mentality- right there!
how are u respected when he cheats??

how are u put first when he cheats??

how does he love u dearly again i must say WHEN HE CHEATS??

there is no probability another man will!  but the beleif that all men are bad makes women degrade themselves!

then again i must say this sort of tolerance is common- women no longer think they deserve much

I am saying it again, marriage is more than just a relationship.  So long, no one deserves to be cheated yet, your reaction and actions at such times may even be a determinant factor on how the man u may meet in future would regard you.

when African men say, i cant tolerate cheating, 80% of african woman would  cry, behave withdrawn but would still agree to settleing the issue.

In courtship, one may leave to save future heart break but when married, it's more sensitive.  So many situations can lead to cheating and its most important to find out why first and how to stop it fromhappening again.

In forgiveness marriage lives on,  its not about mentality but holy injunction.

@bluebunnie

One of the hardest thing to do after marriage is to work out, its not just a relationship. Men yes, but women, its always difficult, heart broken but yet the milk of womanhood holds one down.

It really worries me how a man at that level in Nigeria could ask such a silly and off- course question. PoliticsRe: Akunyili's Confirmation Stirs The Senate! by Ninapha(f): 1:04pm On Mar 30, 2010
I just wonder how Kanti Bello made it to the upper house with this lousy reasoning, coming from Kastina State is no much important than being a Nigerian,  Well i am not very suprised, after all what would people whose only interest is to enrich themselves and their families.

for months now Yara'dua has turned to a ghost president yet his bills are paid, Kanti has no problem with that but pensioner who are confirmed to be alive but could not come for the government unending verification as a result of ill health are tagged ghost pensioner.

His family has refused to tell Nigerians the true position of his health yet, he is annoyed with Dora who spoke up, all because he is from Kastina state.

She was given the mantle of rebranding Nigeria yet she is lured into telling lies by people like Kanti for selfish reason.

Where is the office of the first lady (Turai) that a minister would become her cook,

Kanti! Kanti! Kanti! how many times did i call you, better Chief whip the senate and leave Dora alone.

If you are angry for the choice of Dora, We are more angry for the choice of another Yara'duar (Murtala) Audu Ogbe, Anini and a host of them.

Kanti, please Tell us where our president is, his state and why we the masses cant see him or hear from him.

grin grin grin grin grin, honestly what you are going though is a normal thing in new marriages, courtship is quite different from what is obtainable in marriages. A very organised man turns to an unorganised man once he gets married. why? because u are there to organise him and the house and that is the only time u can call the place a "HOME".

Women gets more excited about new marriages, men are more concerned about the new responsibilities and new role which tend to make them withdrawn. while u are thinking of all the congratulations, the man is thinking of all the responsibilities associated with marriages. cancelation of boys -night- out, honey, this and that, but u know what, u can make him feel relaxed by:

1- Talking it over with him, your sex life and fears
2- Making up your mind that its more of your responsibility to keep the house and home
3- Read Proverbs 31- 11- end.
4- Most imortantly dont compare your husband and dont rob shoulders, wives! submit to yor husbands.
5- Always talk, talk and talk things over that way, u learn each other more, its not about how many years u court this is a different institution of learning.

Wishing u a fruitful and spendid marriage.

Marriage classes is good but the personality involved is what matters. before u say " I DO", pls make sure u make him understand how much u detest his "perfect" nature. It is only when someone sees himself as a perfect being in some areas that he/she nags.

Marriage is quite different from courtship, love is not enough, it can only help u to manage.

I overlooked such issue while i was courting believing hubby would overcome it but no, its something i have to live with and believe u me its not an easy situation to deal with. with the children and other people who may not know how to keep his rules, u become mesirable all day trying to make everyone behave according to his taste yet, there would be complaints.

Most men in this category are generally nice if u can keep their standard but what of other people around you. can they?

For me Nagging kills any relationship cos it gets one confused and less initiative.
RomanceRe: 10 Things Men And Women Do That Destroy Relationships by Ninapha(f): 12:33pm On Mar 27, 2010
@ Poster, it is a great write up.
I wish to state it here that some men NAG too not only women. MY partner is a very tidy and neat man and i mean tidy. Whenever I visit(we are getting married in a month's time), i try to tidy and sweep up the house but it can never be done perfectly. Woe betide me if i move anytin 1 centimeter away fromm where he usually keeps it. He will talk and talk and talk about it- is that not called NAGGING.
But i thank God for marriage classes that has taught us to accomodate and try to mould our partners in a subtle way. He is changing.

I also have cause to believe that before a woman nags, there must be a reason for it. Have the men tried to make amends to things or situations that make their women nag. So my dear, it is a two way thing.

The "where are you" question is usually a valid one cos most men feel their partners don't have to know where they are all the time but they will wish to have the women's timetable to the minutes.

When women ask they only want to know where you are and if you are ok cos for Christ's sake they are answerable to your families if anytin happens. They are the ones that will be questioned first of all.
So men please learn to be free with your wives and communicate some more with them, it is to everybody's benefit especially that of your relationship.

The sources said Yar’adua’s seclusion since his return to the country was ordered by the Saudi doctors because he suffered a severe infection while at the Saudi hospital when he received some visitors. The people who have been able to meet with him after his return, the sources said, were made to go through some disinfecting chambers before they were ushered into his presence. Those procedures have ended now, the sources said.

Most times, memories and incedences in the new relationship.

It is normal to disagree on certain issues while in a relationship which could bring seperation. Now u are not in a new relationship and u are not married yet so for now its mere seperation untill you start a new relationship.

Most times if relationships break-up reputably, I mean without betrayals or criminal implications, both parties go ahead to learn on plain grounds and may find out their wrongs and make up.

But I tell you most times, guys try to make u believe their "we have done it before and we can do it again sweet talks" sometimes they are not real.

My cousin's ex after getting married to another lady was singing "i love you till i die song, not even my wife can stop it, i will keep u and she told the man well, i think the best thing for them to elope and the man never called again showing he loves his wife and was only trying to have her for fun.

it would be better to stop the pastor from visiting you and this would keep them apart for any eventual temptation.

don't do it yourself and let it remain yyour little secret, love ur wife as u ought to, you are not a saint afterall.
