Abeokuta was welcoming, i settled in well, Baba no sabi where this my other house dey.. though I encountered dust and cobwebs that i cleaned out, in the attached garage, i even had two cars covered and kept there that i had forgotten about… food even dey store for kitchen sef.. i was settling im, not knowing what to expect. Hmmn. Now that i had ditched my phone, i had to replace that, morning to evening nothing happened still, i then drove from my house to Pansheke Adigbe.. sweet roads for my ford tho…i located tarmac at pansheke and negotiated for an iphone paid for it and drove to Obasanjo presidential lodge Nnpc. I settled for the pool area, plugged the new iphone to the power bank i brought along, proceeded to set it up. Called the waiter, ordered a drink. Sipped on it while i set up the iphone. Once done, i conmected to the hotel wifi hotspot and some how, after browsing several pages here an there i stumbled on a post. Damn, we hit the news: post read;

“BABALAWO ARESSTED WITH SEVERAL HUMAN BODY PARTS YAHOO BOI ON THE RUN”

Damn, i quit the blog page immediately, disconnected from the wifi and hit the road again, make popo no go burst me for outside because i sure say like this like this dem dey find me pa.. i got home as fast as i could. Parked the ford, approached the main building, in no time i was inside. I turned on the lights, everything seemed fine but the light in the kitchen didn’t come on, i had gone there to grab a beer from the fridge. I tried to observe if it was probably the bulb or something then a spark from probably the wires and a small fire started from the spark, small tiny fire before i knew jack or jill, the small fire had traveled around and the kitchen was literally in fire. I was too scared to remember to use the fire extinguisher. Then the spreading fire really spread and like play like play, i had to scramble for safety and watched as the whole flat building burned down completely.. i got help from neighbors tho.. but it wasn’t enough.. the fire service arrived after the house had been completely razed!! I could only save the cars.. the bulk money i brought from Lekki, everything ashes.. another house dey, that one wey i build for Shade. Instead of lodging in hotels, make i kuku goo there. I found a driver who would help me drive the extra car and together we headed for another area of Abeokuta.
