I didnt know Dbanj, Tuface e.t.c were now billionaires o! Article was about billionaires in Nigeria so Google guys and Facebbok boy are not in scope. Instead of binding and yabbing the writer of the article why dont you give us some points to negate his assertions. People that willl become billionaires wont come on Nairaland to bind writers with fire or confess in Jesus name that they will bebnillionaires. Instead, they would be working on projects that will make them billionaires. |
My Satellite U400 - 13T is still going strong 3 years on apart from the odd case of virus/ trojan infection which McAfee couldnt stop. Nothing Malwarebytes couldnt sort out though. ![]() |
Good quality pictures and hopefully will deter crime. But I do not understand why this has made the news or why a governor of a state should be credited witht the installation of mere CCTV. |
@ Coogar Native - Google Voice Market - Shoutout, Voictext e.t.c |
Sir Freddy Laker did it and went bankrupt! |
coogar:Please tell me you are joking! There are many native and market android apps that do the things you listed above and more! LWKMD |
The college is run by the Rayat-Bahra Group and the chairman is Nirmal Singh Rayat. |
This wasnt a UK university! just a private for profit company parading itself as a college. If you go and check the facts chances are that the school is/was run by one of our African brothers/sisters or not too distant cousins, the Asians. |
@ Duduspace The UAE has no route to settlement, How come many people including Nigerians choose to go and live there? Skilled people will go where their skills are required even if there is no route to settlement. settlement is just a bonus that was thrown in. It is all about using you skills to earn a decent wage and not a way to settle in another man country. |
I miss real suya |
Thanks Shollymata Isnt it a disgrace that we are here arguing about whether another country's immigration policy is fair or not. It is their country and they can do as they please. In the UAE, you can live there for 100 years if you like, you will never become a citizen. In Nigeria you have to have lived there for 15 years. I wish they werent changing the law as it will affect my family members if it passes but we need to wake up and smell the coffee, It is their country and they can do as they please. they are under no obligation to open their borders to anyone. I do not envisage many people in foras in countries like Denmark, Canada, Japan discussing this issue. If only we had completely independent regions instead of that contraption called Nigeria and those regions were prosperous, we would not even be discussing this. |
Naija pepole have lost it completely. Does Superhero Fashola need the permission of the UK's Immigration minister to improve the standards of LASU? All this is cheap talk. If he really had any concerete plans he would have started it at the begining of his first term (Education is very important) and not wait till quarterway though his second term and make a silly announcement during the vistit of a junior UK minister. If LASU is up to approved standards, you wont have to preach to people to go there. People rate Lagos Business School and are willing to pay to go there. Do the same for LASU. Let private individuals who have an interest partner with British Universities if they so wish. Fashola should be ashamed of himself for making such a silly statement. |
How dumb are Nigerians that are celebrating? I seriously doubt the membership of Boko Haram is up to a thousand yet in one day, the security operatives rounded up 920 (maybe 950 depending on which story you believe) of them. I am sure 99.9% of the people that are being held are innocent. |
I dont understand this phobia for debt, I guess it is a Naija thing. I cant remember properly but I can only imagine I must have shared the same ant-debt sentiments when I was in Naija. Life is for the living and as long as you take a loan that is within your means you should be fine. The only thing I have against car loans in Nigeria is the exorbitant borrowing rates, Up to 25% in some instances! Now thats crazy. I took a car loan 2 years ago with an interst rate of 5.9%. I only have a year left and at the end I would have paid just over £3000 in interest. Life like I said is for the living and that amount is a price I am willing to pay since I know myself and I am not disciplined enough to save up the amount required to buy the car outright over 3 years but I know if I take a oan, I must pay it back otherwise my credit suffers. |
How do you arrest a container? |
Nigeria is a contraption created by the white man. Nothing wrong with celebrating Osun day or New yam in the east but celebrating Nigeria is just an insult to the hundreds of thousand of people living a hard time in that God forsaken cesspit! |
Are homosexuals 'worse' than polygamists. Who made these mofos the moral police? Many of them are polygamists. I wonder why they are not debating criminalising that practise as well. As panda said, same sex relationships are already criminalized so I cant understand why they are even debatting this same sex marriage issue. Our reps and senators just watch CNN and Sky News and follow follow what they see them doing in the US senate and UK parliament. In these 2 countries, homosexualism isnt a crime which gave rise to to people in same sex relationships clamouring for the same marriage rights as heterosexual couples hence the debates they had in these countries. There is absolutely no need to debate it in Nigeria as the relationship which could have led anyone to thinking of same sex marriage is already outlawed. |
Ans to previous trivia ques = 13. Can anyone identify the dullard of the class who Fashola didnt give a laptop |
@ Okeyxyz I am sure The Clintons and The Bushes who have 1 and 2 daughters repectively have more than enough money to 'manufacture' a boy child. There must be a good reason why they didnt. |
In 2011 'educated' people are still looking for boy or girl. SMH. God don bless you with 3 healthy children and you are still greedy. spare a thought for those that can even conceive for one. |
Sim registration LMFAODoes this mean from today new sim cards will only be sold to people who provide registartion details? how will this work when I believe you can literally by a sim card from any reseller. |
This is a good move to give our former governor a befitting burial. If it was that Akala, he would have released up to N300 million. Any decent burial in Nigeria costs a lot of money not to talk of that of a former governor. Remember things like MIC casket, aso-ebi, cows, foodstuffs e.t.c are very expensive and a very large turnout is to be expected. Also all roads into the town and to be family home will have to be graded and tarred by the family. This also costs a lot of money. UP ACN and Up Ajimobi ![]() |
That policeman is my hero! |
I saw the original video of the girls doing the 'do' and all I can say is na wa o! Women are free to do whatever they want with their bodies. if they are women lovers so be it! Who gave these criminal guys the moral authority to police how these girls chose to live thier lives. The idiots toturing these girls most probably jerked off to the first video and they come up acting all holy and ish! bastred ppl. |
Naija is finished. The governor even has the balls to come and defend illegal actions. If anyone of you supporting Oshiomole's actions can point me to the paragraph in the Nigerian constitution that says the governor of a state has the power to order an arrest then I will admit that I am wrong to critisize. If a governor is given the power to order arrests, what stops him from ordering the arrest of his politicall opponent on the day of the primary or the arrest of a man who he he doesnt like but is 'toasting' his daughter? A 'civillian' governor with the power of arrest is no different from a dictator. The prime minister of the UK can not order the arrest of anyone! |
Bonds are as safe as houses (thats if houses are still a good investment going by all the sub-prime wahala). With government bonds you are always onto a winner because the government will always pay up. It is only in rare situations like a never ending war like in Somalia where there is no central government that your bonds may not be repaid. Even the PIIGS countries including Greece must pay up bonds when they mature. The default you hear about in Greece is more complicated than ordinary bonds. |
I feel so sorry for this mariofemi. It seems like he was just a gullible man that was scammed as well and he isnt part of the scam. |
l.a.j:LWKMD!!!no oofeinse |
@ l.a.j no oofeinse but did you go to school |
chei! see yabbing. Do you Nigerians go to school to learn how to yab? |
@ Chamber no oofeinse but have you been r@ped before? The way wey you carry this matter for head , e pass the person wey them 'r@pe' self. If you dont know, the Linda you are dissing is the original source of these names and she asked the person who put the pictures up to take them down. If you had any sense, you will understand that internet vigilantee can not bring you justice. |
Linda Ikeji who sent the original email with these names came out yesterday to say the names were those of ABSU students who may be able to help with the investigations. Vigilantees translated it to be the names of the rapists. If thses guys are innocent, do you know the irrepairable damage that has been done to them?. Too many 'eductaed illiterates' in Naija. |
