Na lie oga, one week will not kill or elevate anybody's career. She just needs to do that programme for 5 days so that she can graduate that same year.

The way you people gaslight on this forum is just mad, this has nothing to do with prioritising the family/children over career. 5 days absence no go kill anybody.
grin grin cheesy.

5 days absence won't kill anybody in real life only on Nairaland. The issue is a non issue and you see the way some guys are posting nonsense up and down for a 5 day course.

Based on the history, you did nothing wrong. He has taken one child before, he can do it again. Once bitten always shy.

Let the same people who helped you get your daughter back be involved in spelling out the specifics of the children's visit so everything will be defined.

He can come visit the kids for now.

That 30k you shouldn't have returned it. It will buy provisions small.

Most churches have fallen from the pedestal of divine sanctity. I wonder why so many Christians and pastors in Nigeria stooped so low as repose so much confidence in an ordinary man for redemption.

Christians must return to their senses before they make god out of a mere mortal.

I withdrew from this madness after observing that this whole thing had degenerated from moral support to personality worship.

When I watched emotional Enenche's lamentation over the outcome of the election, I started to question if he still had a sound relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT. Something definitely has gone wrong with him and most so called obidient fellows.

A pastor would stand on the altar declaring that he is obidient. This is madness! What would JESUS say seeing how those He died for are now looking for salvation and redemption in the hand of a man?

Philippians 3:3 KJV
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Nigerian Christians need to wake up from this deadly hysteria. In conclusion, I am absolutely sure that Divinity stopped Obi's emergence to save Nigerian Christians from impending idolatry. sad
Pheww finally somebody says it, it's just so terrible, I have been pained these few weeks what the church and God's altar has been turned too.

Pastors using the altar of God for emotional rants very obvious holy spirit was not involved in it. Pastors giving politicians mic to solicit for votes.

Not in the church, not in the church on the campaign ground yeah yell and chant all you want but a church supporting the chant of a mortal they don't know they have elevated him to a god-like position.

God is truly patient, he will not share his glory with anyone. How some Christains don't see these is baffling really baffling. I watched this video and I was seeing another thing entirely and the pastor allowed it? It is finished. It truly is madness.
Politics › Re: Elupee!! - Worshippers Chant as Peter Obi Visits Zion Ministry, Lagos (Video) by NoToPile: 9:41am On Mar 16, 2023
I am really concerned what election has turned churches into.

My opinion is still altar of God should not be used for campaigns or anything politics the other day it was Desmond they gave microphone to be begging for votes on the alter today it is people chanting in a church, more like elevating a man to a god-like position and the pastor allowed such chants in the house of God?

Politicians can always visit but it should end there.

If Christains don't see anything wrong with this then it is finished.

Nah! it doesn't work that way. Some things are left with prerogative, if the HR contacted me, that they are going to remove an officer and it has to be one of the 3 Nigerians, is that not a bias already? I have other nationalities as well, why Nigerians? Of cos, i did my best underground trying to protect everyone. Whichever way, if i had left the decision for them to take, it will definitely be him of certainty, the reason been that, when the tides were rough during the covid period, he left, and the manner he left was not professional. The guy removed is someone i personally developed, he endured a period of delayed salaries due to covid. When things came back to normal, the Igbo guy came back, i didn't consider how badly he acted The fact that i have 3 Nigerians, most of any nationality with me, indicates i am biased. However, though raised a few times, there is no proof of it. I will explain how it works, even if i bring my brother on board to work with me, the final license approval for practice will still be issued by the government after another set of verification and interview is conducted. All i need do is prepare them as my own, so they can scale the hurdle.

Categorically, i have helped a lot of people from zero level to something, and that cut across all nationalities, but to work directly with me, i prefer Nigerians, not because they are the easiest to deal with, as they are the most difficult. I, however, consider where we all came from, and the possibility of giving my brothers an opportunity to thrive. I am in the position not by might, it's purely grace, so, i didn't think of it. What i thought of was, if he was the one chosen to be sacked, my reason will be because he was not patient when the tide was rough and left rudely (as anyone can imagine). He made amends after few months that he left, but the company he moved to hit the bottom rock and couldn't revive itself, when he came calling, i had to help, it took a while, 3 - 4 months. But, he would have politicized it, using the election as an excuse or tribalise the whole thing if he was chosen Was i fair to the guy i helped bring up? No. Some decisions taken in a top position sometimes difficult, some without answers, or reasons, and sometimes you feel you are the best, but then still get sacked when the management takes decision. No decision is fair to the victim.
Actually you were not fair to the guy you helped bring up, good you admit it. Wait You helped removed a person who stood and endured with the company during hard covid times for someone who just left like that simply because you didn't want him to politicize the whole thing and claim it is because he's Igbo?

You knew who the company would pick and remove if HR made that choice, you knew who should go, you knew who was loyal to the organization and then you made the wrong choice so as not to hurt his feelings or massage his tribal ego?

I don't see the differencee between what you did and giving someone from your tribe a promotion even though the most competent are from other tribes.

Bros I fear you.

Is there no baby sitter that she can pay? Live in after school service or creche or something. What about her circle of friends in church or at work, no one that can take care of the kids for a fee?

There's no toddler among the kids.

Well there might be more to the matter sha.

Which one is he saying Gan.

This statement 'My eventual emergence as the governor' is somehow - nothing in this life is certain bros, absolutely nothing.

The more he talks the more people will pick holes in his utterances.

His PR people should advise him to stop talking.

Because even the civil servants he's addressing will just yinmu at his promises not to talk of the Nurtw members.

Simple as ABC, everybody eyes is red this period besides the man is entitled to his rent, he should beg him with some money.

Report to police, because that
is trespass and an infringement on
your rights as a tenant..

In fact you should also report of
missing money in the apartment. He will
be begging you to settle.

You can quickly ask a lawyer for
advice.
The apartment was locked up from outside not broken into so how will money get missing

Why can't you advise him to look for small money to pay the landlord even if it's 6 months, he is supposed to beg him.

Infact following the Lagos law he is already a Tenant at will and entitled to only 7 days notice, so even if the landlord decides to go the legal route he is as good as out and will still pay what is owed.

The bolded is a typical Nigerian mentality always wanting to cheat landlords, always not wanting to pay debts or loans

Thats why some landlords will just pour werepe.

I had expected Adesuwa to campaign for PDP, attend Atiku rallies, carry the PdP matter to all the markets in etiosa which might translate to campaign for her husband but ehn she was busy carrying labor party up and down. I never expected her to openly show support to another party when her husband is contesting under a different party.

They both forgot that there's a higher possibility that electorates will vote the same party on all three ballot papers. Push more of PDP into people's faces in that axis, there's a possibility that a vote for Atiku would translate to a vote for banky.

Politics is all about interests you protect your interest first .

This is why mercy Johnson has my respect. She did well abeg she carried her husband's party matter on her head well well. She refused to fall for bullying and intimidation, even if her husband didn't win I would still say she did well. Even Regina sef didn't support LP openly.

Ignorant man

Knowledge and Skills gives you jobs and not certificate

If not the millions of unemployed graduates would have been employed by now automatically

The only value your certificate will give you is if you have the opportunity to bribe your way to get a job that is always different from what you studied in school which is actually unethical because it is your knowledge that you studied in the scholl that is supposed to open doors for you and not your 'connections'
So if you have the knowledge and you don't have the certificate which is the basic requirement for that job what happens?

Will organizations reduce their minimum requirement simply because you have the knowledge but not the certificate.

Get the knowledge and get the certificate
