Yes, I just used a personal scanner which gave me three codes (PO753, PO758 & P1768).

The scanner manual said that the first code (PO753) means : Shift Solenoid A Circuit Electrical and the second code (PO758) means: Shift Solenoid B Circuit Electrical.

I don't know how to go about it but a Nairalander told me that the problem regarding to the above codes is just to change the gear switch.

I have tried to consult an Electrician in my locality but mentioning the codes for them doesn't make any sense.
Please, you can suggest more ways to go about it regarding to the scanner's codes and the real interpretation as well as the real problem of the vehicle as regards to the extreme brake and quench and rough idling.

whenever you have car issues, always put the year and model alongside, there are so many Honda and Acura but I have never seen Honda Acura before sounds like a cloned car

Please what are the issues IS 250/350 normally develop ?

not a faulty or trashy car but

IS250 is fitted with 4gr engine which is 100k for replacement, slow for a sports sedan but not as bad as a corolla

IS350 is fitted with 2gr fse which is around 1m+ for replacement, also fuel economy is smiles per gallon

thnx alot sir....jst dat my mech told me d 07 es350 gas alot of transmission issues...

i doubt that the 2gr was available as at 2004 in toyota Avalon spotting same gear as all others fitted with 2gr i think the U660E transmission started in 07. it isnt faulty or has a factory defect but quite expensive to replace. I am certain the 07 doesnt because there was no drive train change in the facelift

Hello house. I came across this car, Mazda 5 2006, a compact minivan with sliding doors. I liked it but I have never used a Mazda vehicle and is not very common on the road. I please need information on the car from car gurus in the house and those who use the car.

1. Are the parts easily available? I dont live in Lagos so wouldn't be going to Ladipo
2. Are the parts pocket friendly? Any idea of the cost of common parts like shock absorbers, etc,
3. How reliable is the car? Any know problem with the engine, transmission or electrical?

This is the most common question people ask on these section. please have it in mind that a Lexus ES is a camry.

The Lexus ES can be attributed as a very luxurious Camry V6 they share a lot of part from Engine to suspension, identical drive train and near performance.

if you want fuel economy then a 4cylinder Camry would do but if you want extra luxury and refinement the ES does it better than camry. just know that ES too has a base trim which some Camry may pack better options than.

Let her divide the whole money into 4 equal places when you boost it into a million that's 250k each, let her start 4 business with it and see the one that moves, she likes and can interchange each other. eg

1. selling okrika clothes

2. running a hair salon

3. buying food stuff like yam, plantain, palm oil

4. Running a business center.

5. Drink production (zobo, yoghurt, kunu etc)

The one that moves and bring people everyday and is easier for her she can continue those and drop the rest.

Passat B5 isn't bad, good on gas with that engine, reliable, tokunbo parts are always the real deal and strong too as the wagon is used as a luggage hauler

The Camry isn't bad if you can have a good security in place cause it can be stolen as a whole and you may need to touch leg works regularly especially if you transverse bad roads

Feeling sad now, my kid sister just called me up and told me she just lost her job with First Bank. I asked her what her plans are but she is confused. Told me she has been able to save up to 400k. Don't know what to tell her to invest in. She lives in ibadan.

400k and she is worried depends on how strong she is currently. She can start raiding ibadan village for food stuff and sell as a wholesale and also package and sell as retail to her colleagues in the bank for marked up prices. Then they can help put the word out about her goods.

I started my Garri business with 60k a year after it worth 300k now. if she has a saloon or sedan, sell and buy a bus to help ease transportation.

It would also have less wear and tear in internal parts you will just focus on leg work and not always faulty. The car would have been treated with great care in 1st 4years if you are more lucky it is personally owned not company owned then the owner too would continue the Care after warranty elapses.

3. The engine is the most affordable of the lineup, while the 2az of the Camry is the most expensive, though if you buy the V6 Camry with 1mz that Engine too is cheap probably cheaper than the alpha and gamma Engine of the Hyundai.

4. Elantra is not a robber magnet, custom magnet or police magnet, it blends well in the background.

5. In terms of original OEM parts the Hyundai is fair compared to Toyota.

if they tell you to bring 3million for tokunbo now, you go do mouth like kalo kalo wey swallow something . enter northern states and search for a good Nigerian used that will need a little touch to get it in good shape.

I am skeptical you can get tokunbo of that vehicle at all in Nigeria except maybe Cotonou underground supply, that car is too old to be shipped in legally as a whole.
