Must it be Lexus? A 2008 to 2010 highlander goes for 7.5 to 8.5m for tokunbo you can buy the XLE or limited trim to enjoy as close to luxury as the RX350 offers. They are 80% identical mechanically.

If nah lexus you want, your location would determine but few days of rain lagos is already flooded so I would prefer RX to ES due to flood if in lagos.

My brother in law has a toyota sienna for car hire in lagos, he is ready for both Intra and inter state movement. It's a 8 seater variant with AC 2004 to 2006 model years.

He renders services for haulage of people from one location to another. For parties, function, get together or simply company retreats.

I received a mail from UBA group telling me to liaise with the perpetrator and get to a branch to do a fresh ATM.

They want me to be susceptible to another attack, I have replied sha. How can I liaise with a thief I do not know.

You can't use their mobile app without your ATM details or hard token.

As long as you have your ATM card with you and you don't release your hard token to anyone, then uba is 100% responsible.

Also, theres no way they won't know the exact receiving account

Put more pressure and take the matter serious with them

On sunday 19th march 2023, at 9:19am I received a notification of 199,000naira for rent into a 3rd party account I didn't initiate. I immediately dialled *919*10# to freeze my account but I was getting error, I searched UBA cc got the number and called for them to block my account and every means money can be withdrawn.
My ATM was with me and my phones with me and I never gave any confidential info to anyone besides I had other banks and their apps linked to my details the question is why only UBA?

Monday morning off I went to UBA to lodge a complaint and I was only told the matter is under investigation and that the individual used mobile app to withdraw the money using a tecno phone added on 19th march same day the fraud was perpetuated.

Mobile app how come? I always get notification both through mail and otp on my small phone (torch light phones because they are hard to hack it's where I put my sensitive no) concerning change of device, I checked my mail and SMS no info sent. I probed further and I was told the phone used was a tecno, never used tecno b4 all my life and definitely didn't grant any access to my mobile app.

Battle still on cause 199k is no small money the country is too hard to let go.

To be honest I have never been stopped by custom officers before even when I was using a clean sienna. I have bought a car from Abuja b4 and drove it to lagos my left leg hear wen I had paralysis had to park for 30mins. I have also driven from lagos to Kano but never had issues even though it was manual too maybe because I was reacquainted with manual after using auto for long.

If the seller left his plate you can escape custom wahala though custom 4 north aren't as brutal as those down south, night driving will also help as customs are just after cars without plates dem no dem bother with body due to visibility but safety nah him be the issue.

While coming from Abuja after purchase at 6pm I still dey Owo and I didn't know the road , the heap lamp very dim, visibility bad and the road death trap, nah only God say I no go kpai for road sha. Night journey on just purchased vehicle is a no no as you don't know the mechanical condition, it may drive fine but not able to endure long travels.

Thank you. You're correct, I found a cheap one in good condition. Although, I care more about if the parts are readily available at all, and I can easily find mechanics in the south east knowledgeable about the car.

I don't think the engine in those vehicles are complicated, your avg Joe can fix any issues as long as parts are available.

Now availability of parts is the game changer, american vehicles aren't that common but probably you can source for parts in largest spare part mkt in the east if not available lagos should suffice if you can afford cost of waybill when you find a reliable part seller

Go to a car park discuss with driver and show pix of what u need to carry, he will give permission to check dimension of his vehicle, checking it with what you measured from the piano will determine whether the vehicle is for you or not.

Your car works with Air, spark and fuel. Your random stuttering isn't understood sha. Is it loss of power or unstable breathing (rpm fluctuations).

Check your Mass air flow and the sensors. Check the intake air filter and the throttle body.

But I would have loved for you to fix the obd port first.

Hope the mechanic never touch ur injector?

You need to visit a panel beater, he will tell u what needs to be changed. Some you can fix crudely but the scar would still be their you may also need to paint. Until you get of list of what got damaged then we can give you fixing price.

Radiator alone brandnew is almost 50k, bumper sef cost, that bonnet looks like it can't be beaten back to original shape, grills and front fascia change needed.

Physical examination will know whether chassis needs touch, front support, under carriage damage etc
