93RD:Dicey situation, that 011 to 16 accent engine were notorious for been ubrepairable when faulty as long as the specimen u buying dey good condition better to pick it over a Corolla. Why not find an Elantra of equal price like 08 to 2010 |
AutoManual:I disposed the car years ago sef I don't change the shaft regularly some 3years b4 changing my roads are good in my location then. Mounts advice is to change all if possible, when one is bad it affects others. Honda is known for mount problems, if you can afford to change all good, if too pricy change only the extremely bad ones. Tell your mechanic to remove the bad ones, carry them go enter market and price it maybe cheaper at your end. I bought tokunbo because my honda mount has hydraulic fluid in them I was told new ones won't last because of bad or low quality fluid used. As a newbie to car, your mechanic must fleece you first but beg him to buy correct parts for you and always ask for replaced bad part just to be sure he changed them, it will put the fear of God in him ![]() Buying car is easy, maintaining them is the hard part, guess nobody told you that, spare part prices have gone through the roof live with it or take transport. |
Lobolintin:Never buy a VW because its cheap. Going forward VW don't like abuse ensure the components are in good working conditions. If the engine is turbo I advice u stay away cause low quality oil destroys VW engine faster than anything. It is also highly wired with several sensors, buy an handheld scanner so you can help kazeem to help you |
kingreign:Wahala Wahala Wahala ![]() |
HilcomTech:1. Read the review of the product if it will work. 2. If you feel you can do it no problem, DIY is a learning point for all, if you damage it, you can pay an expert to redo it. |
kingreign:You like to dey shalaye |
AutoManual:I bought mine in Benin Uselu Abu nah uwelu part market but I have since left benin now in another state. I used an 06 for 7years and didn't have on ball joint pull, what I do is to have it checked when I hear any sound coming from the front legs, I always buy tokunbo not new shafts anytime I need them replaced. Your vehicle is V6 different from i4 I would say talk with hondajosh if you need new parts he is tested and trusted and will waybill from lagos, if nah tokunbo ask gazzuzz if he can help. |
AutoManual:That is the exact price for tokunbo, though the bigger the more expensive. Brand new is 12 to 15k. Go for tokunbo if you don't trust your mechanic, let him loosen the seat and you enter market yourself but I bought tokunbo engine seat december 7k each one front one back for K24A honda engine |
Pneumaa:If your roads are good go for hyundai if not stick with the rav4 or look for a more recent kia sportage/hyundai Tucson |
Nwaotu10:Affordable used cloths, buy and market to your friends who in turn help advertise your product to more friends Phone accessories business, charging cable, memory cards, casing of the most popular brands, you can start infront of ur house with no need for shop. You can even use the money to learn computer typing MSword, excel etc work there learn the ropes of running a business centre is due time you can learn Adobe photoshop or corel draw for graphics design work. You can buy foodstuffs from local market and sell to your neighbours, yam, bag of garri and sell in smaller quantities even vegetables which are money spinners. You can keep chicken if your backyard allows, buy local birds which are hardy and keep if you get fridge kill refrigerate and sell as frozen chicken in kg. So many businesses you can start small and grow big in. You are only incapacitated by yourself not by government, leave certificate for now, get busy b4 1 year of hustling things would change for the better |
Its brandnew nah, buy from a reputable shop that gives warranties incase of factory fault undetected. As for copper, check the alternator side, if the generator allows it, the coil will be golden in colour, if it is silver, its aluminum coil. Some do open it up to show you, some slap copper coil insignia on their products. But ask the seller that you want copper coil not aluminum |
HilcomTech:Or probably you misunderstood the guy, 15inch tyre will work with any 15rim whether alloy or steel. But if current have 15steel rims and decided to upgrade to 16inch alloy rim, your current tyres won't work with new rim. |

My Brother, how can I pacify you? I can't give u fish but I can teach you how to fish |
SouthernPlateau:Yes it isn't easy but an adage says if you fail, try, then try and try again till u succeed. Get rich or die trying ![]() |
Lannister360:Privileged I be confirm ajepako, my father only left me with a good name no riches or properties.Yes I wasn't brilliant I school because I found d out education is not the key but one of the gateways to success. Intelligence can only get you so far but making it In life commands more than being intelligent. I am not rich but i am comfortable because i didn't complain about the realities in Nigeria, i used information at my disposal to prepare for future. Soon fuel prices would skyrocket because subsidies must go a very business acumen individual should know this is the time to buy things and keep and sell at a profit in future, it's not exploitation, its business. |
Entanglement:You funny gan I am not the originator of your problem abeg, hold you LG and state government responsible |
gaddafe:I always say that the first help gov renders to you is enabling environment which Nigeria gov has failed partially, then tax policy is how gov officials greet you, multiple taxation in all forms. But people still succeed against all odds. The country is not too favorable but we must surge on and do everything to succeed |
HellVictorinho7:Infact you are number one ![]() |
GeneralShepherd:At the end of my post I acknowledge the fact that gov, inflation and other economic vices is a challenge but while advocating for better governance we shouldn't sit down and fold our arms, the struggle must continue and hope one day for break through |
HellVictorinho7:I have to use "we" because not only op, myself including and many others |
Greenfaces:On the contrary I don't think the op or other youths commenting are lazy never met them personally. But I know the norm |
Ogaonos:I have read ur write up, it's TRUE the blame isn't only on the youths, the country is currently wired to frustrate you but still we shouldn't complain and sit down waiting for a miracle rather pick ourselves up and do something about it. I graduated in 2013 or 14 went for service but b4 service I made money through computer repairs I learned in 2005 upwards. After service no job I went back to my mum's shop and continued with her, I was about to get my own shop and start selling caprisonne as a wholesaler/retailer when the mkt was demolished luckily for me, I got a job a month after the ugly experience I did that job for a year b4 the company ran aground due to debt and bad management then Jonathan policy affected them. I took the half a million I had got something from my mum and went into farming garri precisely I had already lost 1m In Farming in 2012 so the experience i gained there made my garri business a success. I don't want to talk about my experience because that business wasn't rosy at first but due to perseverance I was able to pull through. There are private agric business in Nigeria ran on thousands of hectares but as people say if you never reach anoda man farm u go think say nah ur papa farm big pass. Lagos wey everybody wan go is not the only place to make cool cash people dey cash out from other states in transport/haulage, buying and selling, farming etc |
Neat with AC |

1. It's not government job to provide you jobs rather government is supposed to provide enabling environment. Waiting for government is tantamount to failure. 2. Majority of youths in the 20th and upwards generation don't want to learn a trade, go to those during handiwork you rarely see them have work boys the youths don't want to get their hands dirty. 3. Many of us refuse to learn from our parents. My mother owns a shop and I served her 10years I have 10years experience in marketing and human relation, I can sell shit and feaces to anybody from what I have learned. 4. We blame everybody but ourselves, government no give me job, why are my parents poor, my school refused to give me necessary skills etc. Stop complaining go out there and fix ur poblem. 5. Unable to think out of the box. I don't take nonsense from any employer I am ready to resign if the working conditions aren't favourable because I learned 3 trades I can venture into, I can also use my handiwork to make a living. 6. Fear of the unknown. This has incapacitated many people, what if I fail, what if I loose well there is a saying "no risk, no reward" try to take risk and God willing even when you fail you have learned to do better again. 7 certificate. Many graduates think because they went to school they can't do a certain job, because people will.laugh at dem. My first million idea came from paupers who showed me a problem and I decided to abandon my certificates, got dirty and today it's a success story. 8. Not moving with the right crowd. Stop I want to go to unilag, and work with Chevron and start thinking about problems in your society and solution you can provide and cash out from. There are others, the country is hard and inflation is biting hard, white collar jobs are diminishing but their are opportunities available all around us, find a problem in ur immediate environment and a cost effective solution and cashout. |
