well, keep taking drugs that your doctor prescribed to you, but start exercising and eating healthy and I am telling you, it will go down |
yes, they are not doing crap on the road, but extorting money anyway. I do agree that check points will scare many tourist away especially seeing AK-47 on the road. Nigeria would be fine without police check points. |
maybe it's because Nigerians don't have a good reputation in South Africa and this is south africa's chance to show the world that it is capable of 1st class events and they don't want any trouble. I ve heard any disruption will be deal with harshly. |
awwww, I am happy for him |
FL Gators:you couda sworn what?, the username deceive people, but I am a girl. |
lol, yes. ![]() |
she looks yoruba in this other photo [probably why you're so smitten with her ], though she also looks senegalese.the hair is good but hey, tame it sweetie
first, I am girl, I am not smitten by her. we are good friends. second, she likes big hair. Nothing I can do about it. |
even up to today, the spiritual leader of muslims in Nigeria is located in Sokoto and is always a decendant of dan fodiyo. |
many yorubas in Kwara state are muslim because of the fulanis. |
also, many people that will label as Hausa in Nigeria are not Hausa, but Fula. They are a force to be reckon with. the Sokoto Caliphate was a fulani empire that captured many land including Yoruba land. |
FL Gators:you need to take an African history class. They are a nomadic group and are predominantly muslims. They don't play with their religion. They are responsible for spreading Islam in West Africa. They mostly reside in west africa, countries like Mali, Guinea, guinea bissau, senegal, nigeria, ghana, etc. Many people don't know that Yar adua was actually Fulani not Hausa. In Nigeria, we mix both together, but Hausa and Fulani are two separate tribes. The girl I posted has never even heard of Hausa before. i actually think the fulani people are bigger than Hausa people in Nigeria. They are not the most passive people on earth. |
EzeUche:oh, my bad. I thought the comment was directed at me. I have actually never seen a light skin Fula now thinking about it. I have seen brown to dark. |
FL Gators:lol, yea she is and she knows it. |
EzeUche: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ??, while would i confuse them. I have probably seen more fula than you. She is not from Nigeria anyway. |
@Tpia. u r right, maybe it's the angle. This is another angle. |
It just shows you that anywhere is dangerous. pray that no evils shall come on you also, I would classify this guy as a terrorist, |
fulani people are not mix with caucasian? |
I don't think this is a good idea. There are too many unemployed graduates in Nigeria. The government should be concentrate on giving incentives to employers to higher graduate and create jobs for people. Nigerian leaders need to start thinking about the future. Thats the problem with Africans. We only worry about the now. This is a good idea for the short term, but it's not a good idea for long term. The money they are going to spend on graduates could be use to for the things i listed above. This will not the country in the long haul. |
@oba the girl looks mixed, not pure fulani. she resembles ethiopian/somali sef.
sorry to break it to you, but she is not mixed. she actually doesn't look mixed if you see her in real life. she look like a fulani. I have known this girl for a long time. She is straight from senegal. |
^^^^^^^^, What was wrong with what I said? He was on a panel about developing leaders for Africa and from what I heard, he didn't seemed like an evil guy. I don't know him personally and I doubt anybody here know him personally, so anything we have to say is based on our impression on him or rumors about him. |
another pic

I met the guy at the Harvard african business conference in cambridge Boston. He is very passionate about Africa and the audience loved him. He seemed like a good guy. [img][/img]

the unemployment rate is more like 30% |
saiyaman:She looks better in real life, anyway, post ur picture and let's see how you look. |
@Sissy, This picture will be temporary, but she is a very pretty fulani girl. I am not going to tell yall who she is |
I think the lakers will win tonight, but celtics win the whole series. This is just the first game out of 7. |
Dede1:mehn, shut the Zap. up. How can any reasonable human being believe that what this thug did to this lady was right because of culture. abeg, what culture is that? If any culture permits that, I don't want to be part of a culture like that. |
dallasbeau:some people always quote that verse to support their belief about jewelry, but ignore that it also say don't braid hair and wearing fine apparel. How many of them don't wear fine apparel? how many of them don't braid their hair to look good? How many of them walk around look like homeless people? |
Dr Know:you hit the nail on the head. Dressing is more determined by temperature. It's only recently that all this holy than thou Africans are shouting "cover your body". Throughout history Africans were not covered from head to toe. Most of our traditional dressing are not the most conservative clothes. if you look at Igbo or Bini people traditional dressing, it's not conservative at all. The reason is that Africans live in a hot weather, and one of the way that humans adapt to their environment is through clothing. |
cibilola:are trousers the only thing that can make somebody says hmmmmn sexxxy? I have come to the conclusion, that many men are dogs. You can be covered up and some of this men will still try to holler. Anyway sha, I don't believe this story. Good luck to Adeboye enforcing that in the USA because I can say now that it ain't going to work. Maybe in Nigeria, but in the USA. Church service longer than 2 hrs make people walk out talkless of some ridiculous list that bars women from gold, trousers, and dying hair, thats the majority of the women population in redeemed USA. It's only Nigerian churches were there is a debate about nonsense like this. |

], though she also looks senegalese.
