When younger people lead, it inspires and gives energy to governance. But the problem we have in Nigeria has nothing to do with the age of our rulers, it's rather because we have 'bad' leaders; and being good or bad has nothing to do with age.

If he did all the above. Why did he leave this school out? Or "mordern schools" crumble after a few years?
Amaechi didnt renovate old rickety schools, he built brand new ones at the same location of the old ones and it's on record that he built HUNDREDS of the most beautiful public schools any state in Nigeria can boast of. If you look beyond your nose in that picture, you would clearly see the newer replacement structure. This picture supplied by the Op seems very much contrived.

The truth of the matter is that anyone, politically motivated or not, who wants to mock Amaechi's achievements in Rivers state and decides to use schools, such a person is an irredeemable clown.
PoliticsRe: Man Shares The State Of School In Rivers Where Amaechi Comes From.see Reactions by obailala(m): 7:47pm On Feb 23, 2018
Whoever dug up these pictures must be high on cow piss... Amaechi built over 200 brand new schools in Rivers state with structures and conducive environments which would make even the best private school owners green with envy; the structures are still there for aall to see. Yet in 2018, some clown chooses schools as one of the areas to mock Amaechi?

Is Amaechi still the governor of Rivers state?... Does rivers state not have a governor who's been in seat for about 3 years? Where are the schools built by the current governor?....

Same way another clown recently took pictures of a monorail project and instead of calling out his governor who gleefully announced in public that he would abandon the project, the buffoon was calling out Amaechi who stopped being governor 3 years ago.

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has said that cabals are frustrating the recently approved $198m maritime security contract.

Amaechi vowed to publicly mention names of saboteurs while speaking at a Maritime Stakeholders’ Interactive Forum held in Warri, Delta State on Thursday.

He said “Reason, why vessels will not come to the Eastern ports, is because there is war insurance due to insecurity in the ports here.

“The war insurance means if the goods cost N10,000 in Lagos, it will cost N20,000 here because there is an extra cost on it due to Insecurity issues. Even as a minister, I can’t enter a boat ride from Warri to Port Harcourt due to insecurity issues, but I can move around Lagos at any time of the day.

“I once asked a former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, why people from Anambra don’t import from Port Harcourt port, and he said it cost less to import from Lagos and move to Onitsha even with the price they pay on the road. It is cheaper to import from Lagos to Aba, yet Aba to Port Harcourt is a 30-minute drive.

“For shipowners, you need to do a petition to Mr President. The President approved a contract of $195m for maritime security, but there are people in the system sabotaging the contract because it will restore security in the water. I won’t say who they are until it gets out of control. We are still battling for the contract to take place, but if it gets out of place, we will name them publicly, including the security people involved.

“There are people who make billions of Dollars from the insecurity on the water, so they don’t want security on the water because if we secure the water, all their rubbish will go.

“There are businesses which provide the vessel for oil companies in the name of providing security. The moment we secure the water, they are out of jobs?

"Nonsense talk by Judas Amaechi... The Yorubas and Hausas are the ones responsible for ensuring that the seaports in the delta region are not attractive and functional so every importer will be forced to use Lagos. Even the insecurity talked about is caused by Yorubas and Hausas to ensure nothing works in the delta ports; even companies arent spared as they've all schemed to make all the companies relocate their offices to Lagos..." - Anonymous

Meanwhile on a serious note, what nonsense did Amaechi smoke before making this statement?... He knows those responsible for insecurity yet wouldnt speak until it gets out of hand? undecided

I said it was 'very rare' for that to happen. Especially in diehard strongholds. E.g. expecting APC to get 25% in the SE or SS, or expecting PDP to get 25% in katsina or kano.

Can you imagine how Nigerian press has been gagged by APC?
The exact same nonsense also happened some years ago in 2013/2014, no Nigerian press was allowed to report anything about bokoharam, only foreign media did. Saharareporters were the only Nigerians (though based abroad) who reported bokoharam atrocities, and the government of the day then, and their supporters labelled saharareporters 'supporters of terrorists' for daring to report things which the government forced the media not to report. Lest I forget, the government then was PDP.

The argument isnt about winning the election, it rather about scratching at least 25% of the votes for his party. And you will agree with me that it's quite rare to see an incumbent lose an election without even getting up to 25%

Bros, Im an Igbo man myself, and I can assure you that come next election, if PDP fields another mallam against Buhari, it would be another ofe nsala day in the SE.

Just in case you dont know, hatred for Buhari isnt enough of a driving factor to push people out to go vote; except there will be herdsmen attacks in the SE just prior to the elections or maybe an IPOB rally with soldiers shooting at people which can drive thw passion in people, the fact remains that hatred for Buhari isnt enough incentive to drive people in the SE out to go vote, especially when the alternative will likely be another Fulani mallam.

The real thing that can encourage people to vote is a charismatic opposition candidate; the love for GEJ was the reason a lot of people came out to vote in 2015.

Buhari will win only because he is going to rig the elections. I pity Nigerians. Your suffering is about to continue.
That's not true, Buhari doesnt need to rig to win. The real reason why he may win is because he hasn't got any meaningful opposition standing against him.

You and those around you dislike Buhari so much, but can your numbers match the number of people that worship him especially up north? Do you even have your PVC?... how many of those around you have PVCs?

Elections are a game of numbers and not your personal sentiments or the sentiments of those you see and hear around you. Nigeria is a large space, and whilst those around you may share your views, you cant say so much about those far away.

Plastic rice! She's been eating it for 2 months and hasnt died yet she feels she's actually eating plastic because the rice bounces or because it forms into a mould?

People just live in their little bubble and have no idea that different varieties of rice exist in different parts of the world. That you are used to a particular variety, and you encounter another type, that isnt enough reason to call another man's food plastic. Besides, between plastic and rice, which is even cheaper?... Why would a producer package plastic pellets and sell as rice?

Ok, my bad in the calculation of Buhari's percentage in 2011. I guess I made a mistake in my own calculation and arrived at 23%.

See, pls, let me make one fact clear to you.. In Plateau, we do not rig elections for parties. We hardly do that! So, a party being on seat does not mean that they will or can influence elections to their favour, no, it would be resisted. What you are worth is exactly what you will get in Plateau state. Chikena.

This was why you could see that in 2015, PDP won in the presidential elections while APC won in the governorship. This hardly happened anywhere else in Nigeria apart from Gombe.

Also, don't forget that in 2011, Buhari had a somewhat clean record and many people were still willing to give him a try. My own father was one of such, I think he even voted Buhari that time and urged others to do same......
This is typically unlike now when most people are highly dissapointed in Buhari and have seen that he has nothing to offer!
Lalong who is our governor has also made us regretted voting APC in. See the way he is disgracing us. He is packing his bags too next year. I bet he will not even win in his LGA Shendam next year. .....There is a very strong anti-Buhari sentiment in my state.....

No reasonable Plateau indigene will vote Buhari next year and the settlers/muslim minority who vote based on religious sentiments are not up to 25% in the state to deliver such.
Hmmm... you speak so highly of your people, of their collective focus and undiluted unity in taking decisions; you have so much trust in your people that they all share your sentiments and would all vote out Buhari and you also have so much faith in the infallibility of the electoral process in your state, wonderful!

Would really be interesting to witness how an incumbent governor with national backing would not be able to secure up to 25% of votes for his party.

That's crap bro! He owes nothing, no loyalty to no leader; a leader messes up, I campaign for the next guy, the next guy comes in and also messes up, and you expect me to still be attached to him to the detriment of me and my country? To what end exactly? Sowore contributed immensely to the crushing of OBJs 3rd term agenda and eventual retirement of OBJ, Sowore contributed immensely to the removal of the Yaradua cabal and installation of GEJ as substantive president, the same Sowore contributed to the removal of the same GEJ after GEJ was found wanting. Now tell me just 1 good reason why he should remain glued to the current president or any president for that matter even at the expense of his welfare, the welfare of his people, the welfare of his country and the truth?

Yes, Buhari got much votes from Plateau in 2015 because many of us fell for the change slogan and we were dissapointed in GEJ... But now we know better, so he ain't getting shittt.
In 2011, don't forget that we gave GEJ more than 1 million votes in Plateau and Buhari did not get up to 25%.
Permit me to borrow your exact strong words:
"Now I know that I have been discussing with a politically ignorant person. How can you say Buhari won Plateau in 2015did not get 25% of the votes in Plateau in 2011? My your own state?" cheesy cheesy

Buhari in 2011 got 356,551 out of a total of 1,411,117 votes in your state; and from my calculations, that's exactly 25%. Now let's go back to the little details of that time; Plateau was a PDP controlled state in 2011 and PDP controlled Abuja and INEC and the CBN. Furthermore, Buhari was running under the umbrella of an unknown 1-man party which had no single grassroot structure anywhere; yet he was able to pull 25% in a largely PDP state. Today the dynamics have changed, Buhari runs with APC which isn't just a national party with grassroot structures, it's also the national ruling party in Abuja and also the party controlling your state and controlling INEC and the CBN. But yet you feel APC cannot get a meagre 25% of the votes from Plateau in 2019 because of what exactly?... Now I truly know I've been arguing with a political neophyte.
