alcmene:Chaii... Some dudes have venomous tongues ![]() I eagerly await Lai's response to this slaughter as he isn't a man known to exercise respite. Lai's response would be bloody ![]() |
naijapropa:Okaaay! The guy who made the statement is an APC Urhobo man. But do you remotely think that Urhobos are actually interested in joining Biafra? |
Did someone actually give that man a bible? ![]() |
I wonder where the money would come from to finance an N8 Trillion budget, elections are over so there's no need to continue making wonderful promises. However, IF (I pray this comes to pass) they can achieve this feat (even if it's N6Trillion), then I would have no fears any more about Nigeria certainly being on the path to reclaim its glory. |
There are too many things to be considered first if illegal refineries should be legalised; Safety, Environment, quality of products etc. Our crude oil pipelines would also be in great trouble ![]() |
TonyeBarcanista:Did you just say N5billion?... ThisDay Newspaper has just apologised and clarified on all the misinformation which it originated and which has spread like wildfire. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/tsa-systemspecs-banks-demand-payment-of-n7-6bn-processing-fee/225775/ The total amount collected so far is approximately N8billion and SystemSpecs gets only 50% of that amount, CBN 10% and the 22 commercial banks sharing 40%. At the end of the day, SystemSpecs is even getting less than the N5billion which you suggest as reasonable. By the way, for the Nigerians complaining of N25billion, if only they knew the staggering amounts which the commercial banks have been fleecing from these government funds over these years, they would understand the urgency of this TSA. I really wish someone could do a research and come up with a proper expository on how much the government would be saving by having its funds in CBN instead of commercial banks. TonyeBarcanista should have been a right person for such an expository, but it certainly wouldn't favour his political leanings. |
noblezone:First of all, we all gave Jonathan over 3 years before we lost our cool with him for his cluelessness; you can go back and check Nairaland history to confirm if I say the truth or not, 90% of those who bulldozed the clueless one out of power were people who supported him massively till circa 2013. Go do your homework and tell me I am wrong. Talking about disaster brought upon Nigerians, what disaster could be worse than the one in which God in his infinite mercy, bulldozed away for us on May 29th 2015?... As a matter of fact, the present fuel crisis which we face was caused by non-payment of subsidies to fuel marketers and this is a direct offshoot of the recklessness, incompetence and corruption of the last regime which you all diabolically wanted to perpetuate. The N413billion presently owed petroleum marketers stretches from August 2014 till recent; if you do the maths, you will realise that the last administration incurred over 70% of that debt. Yet you guys play a blind eye and accuse someone else for the ineptitude of your hero?.. Damn you! |
engrkenny:I'm not defending anybody, I was only mocking some evil people who are rejoicing over this misfortune due to political sentiments. |
Ucheosefoh:Thewhy evils is specifically for some set of people who are presently rejoicing while Nigerians suffer, all because they see this as a lovely political opportunity to throw insults. |
Eboski:I never said anyone was PDP; I never said anyone shouldn't feel bad, I feel bad also. I was only referring to some set of evil politically sentimental people who instead of feeling bad and praying for the situation to get better, they are actually excited over this misfortune because they see it as a fertile opportunity to throw insults around. |
saasala:Please what town are you based?.. I hate this devilish crawlers like hell; I wouldn't want to live in any town where they exist. |
Another warm meal is set for the usual suspects. Even while Nigerians groan about the inconvenience of the current fuel scarcity, the wailers are presently at their most excited state presently; they are excited for at least having something genuine to wail about this time around. #WhyEvils |
Lai is back ![]() But for crying out loud, who are those senseless son's of the devil who have been spreading falsehood that Buhari was stealing N25billion daily from the TSA contract?.... I even saw some of the dolts sharing some silly fake news reports on facebook that it was Emir Sanusi's company that was stealing N25billion daily. Why is it only just a bunch of dumbos who supported the devilish plunder of the past administration that are desperately trying too hard to prove that every government including the present one is also foolishly corrupt? These guys in their desperation to justify their folly are trying to sell a farce to Nigerians that all administrations are equally senselessly corrupt as the last one which God bulldozed for us. |

Lol... sometimes I cant help but wonder the kind of short-circuit that occurs in the brains of 'some' Jonathanians. ![]() |
There is an ongoing downward salary review for ministers and special advisers; the salary scale you posted and which is being circulated is the previous salary structure. |
Whether you like it or not, the usual suspects would still find something to wail about in this spread. E.g. why should defense, justice and interior go to only one zone? ![]() |
smuth:Lol.. I knew for a fact that I was talking to an olodo... thats why I made the earlier statement that even with 1000 explanations, you will still come back dancing with the same question. No be your fault though, you may not be an olodo in other things but due to sentiments, you have chosen to be one here. If the oil price was $100/barrel and NNPC claims they sold 100 barrels in a given period, then the gross figure made by NNPC should be $10,000. If NNPC claims they used 1000 for standard operating costs and 1000 for haulage and 1000 for reinvestment, you dont need to be a prophet to know that 7000 should be left. So if NNPC eventually pays only $2000 to CBN, it is common sense for CBN to ask NNPC what happened to the remaining 'unaccounted' $5000. By the way the word unaccounted means 'not accounted for', it does not implicitly mean 'stolen'. CBN/SLS has simply asked NNPC to explain or provide receipts for what they did with the remaining $5000; bring the money or account for the money (i.e. show us the receipts). |
Chubhie:The audit has not been completed yet, the subsidiary of nnpc which controls the largest funds has not been audited yet; NPDC refused to open their books to the auditors for reasons best known to them. So until the audit is done and complete, you cant blame SLS for not being an omniscient god. |
smuth:Stop being clever by half, pause for a second of your life and stop viewing everyy issue from the angle of politics/ethnicity /emotions. There is a reason the figures changed and even primary school pupil understands the explanation but I'm sure you wouldn't still understand even if it is explained to you a thousand times. There was no way any man could say exactly how much was missing (if any) especially when NNPC refused to cooperate with the CBN. With information available to the CBN, SLS declared a shortfall of $50bn. After public outcry over the allegation, the uncooperative NNPC finally releases some more receipts explaining that ~$40bn was their operating expenses. And then the unaccounted figure was reduced to $10bn (even NOI agreed to this figure and even claimed it was actually $10.8bn). After further scrutiny of the extra receipts produced by NNPC, SLS declared that the actual amount was even meant to be $20bn. That was how the figure arrived at $20bn; even though NNPC claimed ~$10bn was spent on a nonexistent kerosene subsidy. External auditors were brought in to audit NNPC accounts, the NNPC and then FG refused to open their books to the auditors thereby rendering the last audit useless. Up till date, no one really knows how much is unaccounted for or how much is missing in the NNPC. I'm sure with the simple explanation above, you will still return to blame SLS for not sticking to a figure or for not being able to calculate mathematics. |
Amen oh!... By God's grace if Nigeria can achieve just half of that target, it would make a massive difference. |
smuth:I am not asking anybody to go to jail and I have never accused her of being the one who stole the alleged missing money. I only said Sanusi has done his part by letting Nigerians know there are irregularities going on in the NNPC-FG financing with billions of dollars being unaccounted for. Auditors are presently investigating this and that is the right thing to do and not declaring anyone guilty or innocent online (like you and your ilk are doing). If there's anything to exonerate anyone, I think Sanusi has already been exonerated by the discovery from the previous partial audit that over $1.4billion was withheld by NNPC. The full audit is being done as we speak. And with your bolded directionless response, it is not my fault that you have a moronic sense of comprehension and judgement. |
Even when there was a resounding rejection of GEJ and everything he represented all over the world, the wailers still believed it was fake. Even though Buhari resoundingly won all the online and offline opinion polls conducted before the election, the wailers laughed it off claiming PMB will only win online. The mind of the people was finally expressed in the real life election and some fat soul thinks it was Jega's doing. Only a dull brain would have believed and would still think that the SE & SS would outbumber the NW+NE+NC +SW. Probably they (PDP) had pre-arranged a very massive electoral fraud to disenfranchise millions of Nigerians to make the SE & SS bigger than the NW+NE+NC+SW; I trust the PDP to have always flung up some numerical magic such as 16 > 19. But the only problem to that national raape, the only stumbling block to the national charade was an unflinching JEGA. Today the PDP regrets not removing JEGA before proceeding with their plans. But regrets can't change the hands of time. God indeed loves Nigeria. |
TRUTHTOPOWER:In my opinion, this is the most important point and this is the exact issue which messed NOI up. NOI was mandated against her will to feed a lot of corrupt FG cronies; and of course being a part of the govt, she was also mandated to cover them up. |
coolzeal:So because people stole in the past, by your best judgement, it is okay for people in the present to steal?... I sincerely wish people like you were not born in Nigeria; it is because there are many people who think like you do, that is why Nigeria is the way it is today. As for the story, Sanusi has said his own part that there were sharp practices in the NNPC. From his evaluations and re-evaluations, he reckons that up to $20billion have still yet to be accounted for by NNPC but it is left for Nigerians to go do an investigation to find out whether the unaccounted funds have been outrightly stolen or whether it has been secretly diverted by the FG to solve other concerns. The partial PWC audit report proves Sanusi's point to be somewhat credible when they confirmed that NNPC was indeed owing the FG over $1.4 billion, but that audit was only partial because of the uncooperation of NPDC and CBN. With a new government in place now and with no government controlled cabals blocking the auditors from checking the NPDC and CBN accounts, the latest audits should be able to tell us what exactly went wrong (if any). |
Rochas' massive stomach seems to be missing in that pics. Could it be that he transferred the belly to his police ADC? ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/3077646_EkeUkwuowerri_jpgc4bdfb49c2659039f1c648b6f777c7f8 |
gozmok1:GEJ paid over N2 Trillion for subsidy alone in 2011 and he paid over N1trillion in every other year of his leadership. Use your tongue to count your teeth bro, no need for further explanations..http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSBRE84C08N20120513 |
