Why is anyone surprised at these outbursts by Pa Clarke?... Do you guys think the Ijaws who supported GEJ are empty vessels?... Of course they all knew GEJ was incompetent and unfit but they kept quiet and supported him purely because he was their son. Now that jonathan is out it makes no sense anymore to keep living in denial of a glaring truth.

What I am yet to understand is the real motive behind the Igbo obsession for jonathan.

Gbam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, Biafra will be restored soon, once we get world bodies to look into our case, British being the coyotes they are will run and leave zoo to her knees. Biafra will come, don't mind the saboteurs and efulefus. All their politicking with APC won't pass that of Azikiwe, but he died a miserable forgotten man hated by even his village people.

Nigeria will never dodge what IPOB has in store for her, you first bite of and chew before you swallowing, Zoo will definitely fall, everything is pointing to that fact.
Lol... dreams and delusions!

Biafra can only be a reality if there is a genuine reason for it's actualisation. That GEJ loses a democratic election, that can never count as a genuine reason to start fighting for secession and such a senseless reason can never receive the blessings of any serious human or international of local organisation. Just imagine you numbskulls writing a letter to the UN and addressing Nigeria as a zoo and addressing the president as 'paedophile rapist'... and you expect the world to take you seriously?... You guys in your senselessness have given yourselves away as mere disgruntled jonathan supporters who are just pissed that Buhari won a democratic election.

Some of you guys need to sink this reality into your skulls, GEJ was removed through a democratic election and not a military coup; no matter how much you demonstrate or cry or make a fool of yourselves and disgrace an entire tribe, GEJ is not coming back to rule Nigeria, NEVER!... You can kill yourselves if you like, efulefu indeed.

You are a bumbling fool, I hate Buhari, and I will continue hating him even if he becomes the president of USA, it has been three months or 4 but Nigeria is WORSE THAN GEJ EVER had, look at you a typical black brain monkey defending the indefensible, why do I have to do with his rubbish identity. It is simply because he wanted so badly to be referred as "elected president" before he kicks the bucket that is why he destroyed every forward movement we made under GEJ, we did not read or hear him speak of any manifesto still his body odour is oozing everywhere. The useless British stooge is just undermining the development of this country, the British stooge that campaigned more in the UK than he did in the whole Nigeria, or don't you fools know that the presence of the colonial master is detrimental to our development as a country? At least GEJ was moving us little by little out of the British stranglehold despite all the avoidable pitfalls, we had a sense direction. Yes the call for Biafra may be futile but Nigeria will never ever progress , come progress now make I see, waka!
Are you aware that your rabid hatred for the man can never move a single hair on his body? ... Keep hating and hurting, in fact you can pick up a sharp blade and start mutilating your skin... but remember, you still have a minimum of 4 years (if not 8.) to express this hate. At the fullness of time, we could re-check to see how this hatred has added value to your life.

@Op
The only thing I can deduce from your writeup is that you are a bloody selfish tribalist who thinks solely of yourself and have absolutely no regard for the welfare of others. Just imagine your continuous reference to Ikwerre, Ikwerre and Ikwerre as if Ikwerre is the only tribe in Rivers state or as if all the other tribes in Rivers state are slaves.

You may think you are trying to demonise Amaechi but you have only succeeded in revealing him as a detribalised fighter who considers equality and fairness for all tribes that make up Rivers state.

Taking a cue from Delta state, the governorship is on rotation between the main tribes; Ibori was Urhobo, Uduaghan Itsekiri and now Okowa is Igbo. But compare that with Rivers; Odili - Igbo, Amaechi - Igbo and now we have Wike - Igbo. And Amaechi tries to rotate the governorship to the Ijaw group for once and you accuse him of being unreasonable?

Anyway I dont blame you, rather I blame the ever sleeping and servile ijaw groups in Rivers state who are backing Wike because they think they are doing GEJ's wife a favour.

247frolicboss:
Following the judgment of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal that nullified the election of Governor Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), revelations have surfaced about a grand plot to build Nigeria’s biggest mosque in State’s capital city of Port Harcourt.

According to sources, the plan, which dates back to 2012, is to repossess a large portion of old Port Harcourt Township from the popular Aggrey Road, through Victoria to Bonny Streets and unto Creek Road and convert it to a new development to be called Great Dawatul City.

The developers of the project, which will have Nigeria’s largest Mosque, 6,000 units of 3 and 5 bedroom residential duplexes and world class business arcades as its star attractions intend to use it as a global model to showcase and redefine Islam as a progressive religion in cosmopolitan cities around the world.

Funding for the project it was said, had been secured by a billionaire mogul and industrialist who himself had negotiated some years ago to purchase the entire shoreline from the Creek Road axis which he has earmarked for world class luxury apartments and Africa’s first 7 Star hotel.

Possession of the shoreline was hindered by the Goodluck Jonathan administration’s refusal to give its nod following agitations by local inhabitants of the area claiming forced eviction. The new plan, it is reliably gathered has got the nod of the Presidency and will have residents and property owners handsomely compensated in return for their lands.

A former governor of the State who is already in talks with the promoters of the Estate development assured them of cooperation on the condition that allegations of corruption against him are ignored and the current Governor Nyesom Wike is removed from office to facilitate the smooth implementation of the project.

The developers plan to market the project as an open society which would provide jobs for the teeming unemployed and change the skyline and landscape of the Garden City.

The area earmarked for the multi billion dollar project already has the highest concentration of Northerners in the city and is expected to see an increase especially of elite class after its completion in 2023.

6,000 units of 3 and 5 bedroom residential duplexes, world class business arcades, a 7-star hotel in Nigeria and in Port-Harcourt for that matter. Building and maintaining this will definitely provide thousands of jobs and will definitely change the economy of the state for the better in addition to the beautification. This is absolutely a very welcome development, but fools will think otherwise. Unfortunately, many fools abound. lipsrsealed undecided

So uba chris received instruction from hausa and yoruba to go to court and confess that he rigged election for ngige and that the true winner is obi right?
By the way that ngige is now with the 'islamic party' so what gives?

By the way a lot of anambrarians believe obi did well so why didn't Hausa remove him?

I guess too that it was the Hausa that put ta orji as governor of abia state instead of kalu orhi right?
My dear, if I must go by what Mazi Kanu has said and if I should believe that all he says is the undiluted truth (like his faithfuls claim), then it is now clear where TA Orji, Mbadinuju etc etc have come from. These men were planted by ndi awusa na ndi yoruba as leaders in igbo land to ensure we remain backwards, and the only solution to this dangerous cycle is to breakaway from Nigeria instantly. grin cheesy

sorry what was his question? I am not in a position to watch the video now
I would try to summarise his statement:

"I do not want ndigbo to to accept that a change in name will make anything to be different. There are about 7 states in Nigeria today which are predominantly Igbos and never has it been heard that any of these states hasn't received federal allocation. Never has it also been heard that any major movement has ever agitated in the state levels to make things better for our people. But instead, we seem to be jumping straight to the federal level with these agitations. When shall we say Igbo people and Igbo states are doing extraordinarily well and will do even better if we stay on their own?... I am not seeing that but instead I keep hearing that if we separate, we will become great.

Let use the latest country created by the UN which is South Sudan as an example; at inception, it was all about excitement, but now, the people are doing what?.. the people are dying and killing themselves.

THE ISSUE IS NOT WHETHER WE ANSWER BIAFRA OR NIGERIA, THE ISSUE IS, WHAT ARE WE DOING FOR OURSELVES NDIGBO?

So my brothers, before we start talking about what the Hausa's are doing to us, have we talked about what we are doing to clean our house?"

In answering the question, Mazi Kanu claimed that Nigeria never loved Igbos and will never love Igbos and that it is Nigeria (presumably Hausas and Yorubas) that impose the bad leaders we have on the Igbo states too ensure we remain backwards. That any Igbo governorship aspirant who has a good plan/manifesto would be frustrated and removed by the Hausas; that even Ngige, when they saw he was doing very well, they quickly removed him. lipsrsealed undecided

Both parties indeed... Kindly paste a single news report link showing where a single PDP rally was attacked by anyone?

Right from the police commissioner to the military men and all the militants in the state were all under the payroll of Wike. The order given by Mama Peace in Rivers State was very very clear, "ENSURE THAT APC DOES NOT GET EVEN A SINGLE VOTE... KILL THEM IF NECESSARY." I'm still searching for a particular video where Asari and his boys were violently re-echoing this order that a single PDP vote will not be lost in the entire state and that any one who attempts to vote APC will have himself/herself to blame. The campaign train of APC in the state was continually attacked and people killed in every single attack and this continued up till and beyond the election day.

I have several friends and relatives living in PH, both the supporters of PDP and APC. After the election, every single person I contacted told me they could not vote in PH because the entire election was marred with violence.... Results trickled out and PDP wins every single senatorial, house of reps and state house of assembly seats in the state; including the house of assembly seat for Dakuku's opobo village where he is loved... And some people expect such an election not to be cancelled?

Once again, kindly paste a single news report link showing where a single PDP rally was attacked by anyone?

This is clearly a victory over crass impunity and lawlessness, a victory for democracy.

How on earth can anyone desperately perpetrate such violence in an election and expect the results to stand?... Caution was totally thrown to the wind and the mission in Rivers state was very simple, "ENSURE THAT APC DOES NOT GET EVEN A SINGLE VOTE."

GEJ completely soiled his clean record by sanctioning the senseless charade that happened in Rivers. Yet some cretins are complaining that the tribunal and courts are cancelling the election because Buhari is influencing. This is simply a victory of common sense over foolishness. Now the PDP and Wike should go to the streets and villages and campaign and test their popularity. If they win a re-run, Congratulations! But it will obviously not be with the same diabolic and shambolic gap,

If you really seek any change, at least the constant gas supply to power stations now has helped improve power supply a bit; you can judge from that.

If you say so but one thing I came to realise is that, as bad as pdp was, when push came to shove, they knew when to let go. In all the embezzling as overly proclaimed, they were still politically rational. As corrupt as they are said to be, they still allow you to have freewill and choose. APC sadly, I can't say they that rational nor even magnanimous to allow a free and fair environment.

You are right, the Nigerian vote eventually counted, yet you still need to give credit to the government of that day for making it so. In the last 55 yrs, as we all know, every government kills the opposition and doesn't low true democracy to prevail but the if there is anything I took from the last administration is that leveraging ground given to enjoy democracy as practised in saner countries but more is how long it took with a sane but corrupt party however how much more longer it will take with a party that is both greedy and irrational. Don't take offense, I stand so cos I know some of these people in the APC and if you study their antecedents well, especially from the south west, maybe you will appreciate this better. While it took 16yrs to know pdp off from the center, Lagos is still under the grip of a power drunk monster, not because lagos ins like him or his ideologies but because he has compromised every sector of the state. Lagosians are not even the one ruling their lands and are struggling to get it out his hands. APC practically maimed every opposition and because no body is willing to play martyr, status quo is maintained. Same is going on in rivers, imo, Oyo and gradually the entire nation. So its not that you won't vote, we all will but it's still APC that is running INEC and are presently driving the tribunals.

So my friend, even tho I don't know you but cos you are a fellow Nigerian with Nigerians interest at heart, while I agree with you that Nigerian will vote out non performing government, however, time and government of the day is of essence. And so as not to sound pessimistic, a way out maybe Nigerians to be realistic in the assessment of the present government and confront them immediately, not waiting till 2019, not supporting them blindly on sentimental ground cos no body wants to be wrong. Nobody wants to be told, I told you so....
All in all, the ball is in the court of the PDP to put its act together, hire fine brains and strategists and put the APC in check; that is exactly what the APC did. All the beautiful sermons about how PDP became democratically tolerant and civilised did not happen because PDP wanted it to be so; no heavenly angel fell upon the PDP to force it to change overnight. You need to understand that it took the emergence of an opposition APC to force PDP into democratic order.

Since the APC knew they did not have all the resources and autocratic powers of the PDP over the entire national institutions, the APC had to employ brilliant strategists and they went to the drawing board spending sleepless nights mapping out political strategies to knock the PDP off. DOn't ever get it twisted, all the beautiful things you mentioned about PDP happened because of the emergence of a real opposition.

So far I do not see the PDP coming up with any reasonable or superior strategies apart from wandering about waiting for the APC to do something so they can 'wail.' It seems like the only skill set the personnel left in PDP have is how to just loot and share money. This is the time when the PDP needs to hire new hands brains and re-strategize.

And seven months down the line, he hasn't proved us critics wrong. For me, if there is any reason why APC is acting sane, it's because they using carrot and stick approach where Buhari is the carrot for Nigerians while APC has a party has something more devious in mind. So, my concern is beyond the travails of today!

The real questions I ponder on in the days ahead are, cos I keep hearing if they don't perform, we will vote them out and I don't think people see the bigger picture, thus my questions below,

1. Will Nigerians still have that same liberty to make choices of National Interest like they did in the last administration or have strong influence over the polity of the country has seen in the last elections?

2. Should Nigerians realise that they need to change the change by 2019, with the current greedy and violent disposition of the APC over power, will Nigerians votes once again count as the last administration made so?

3. It's only an novice that will say the ruling party isn't maiming political or percieved political opponents like the 4 yrs mandate is 40 yrs mandate that they must hold on to. So, my question is should should APC force themselves on Nigerians more than the 4 years given even though Nigerians don't want them anymore, will Nigerians have the privilege of voicing out not to say retrieve their Mandate?

With the rate at which APC is going, there is no doubt that the party has politicised every institution that are to be non partisan because from on set, they politicised everything and they will keep doing so to hold on to power beyond the next 4 yrs and to make them deep rooted. It's unfortunate that we trailing this path...

Again I say, while PDP may have their flaws, they were evolving and gradually transforming, gradually we could have seen a difference by now and making governance productive. Just a little patience was what was required. Our impatience cost us and now, we back to ground zero and it's definitely going to take a longer time to build to where we where before we can progress.

How unfortuante
Hahaha... Let us not sit back and feign amnesia on the kind of monster PDP represented, let us not sit back and act as if PDP are saints. As bad and powerful as PDP were, somehow some way, we were able to kick them aside. Can you kindly mention one thing APC is doing today that PDP did not do even ten times over?... If you were told just 4 years ago that PDP could lose power at the centre, I'm sure you and I would have dismissed such reasoning as wishful thinking and laughed at such a prophesy. But we know the result today, with that feat alone, it should be clear to any discerning mind that as a nation, we can achieve anything we want to achieve if it becomes extremely necessary and if we are serious. You should also know that Nigerians are also now much more aware politically and with social media, information spreads instantly like wild fire. Also with the desperation of PDP to take back power, I am sure PDP would field very credible candidates in 2019 and beyond so it would never be a smooth sail for APC.

I put it to you, if APC/Buhari messes up, they can and will be kicked out. I have absolutely no worries about that.

I see you sticking your tongue ( tongue )out and wishing the president of your country does not perform so you can say "I told you" after 4 years. As unfortunate as that stance is, God pass una! and by God's grace, he is going to perform. He may appear annoyingly slow, but you need to understand that he is taking his time to undo decades of rot which has bedevilled the system. Remember the quote from the October first speech:

“Impatience is not a virtue. Order is more vital than speed. Careful and deliberate decisions after consultations get far better results..."

Oh yes, we are all impatient, but I am sure as a Nigerian, you should have an idea of the extent of rot in the system?... that will certainly take time to fix. The nosedive in world oil prices have also greatly not helped matters. Have you taken your time to review the last national budget of 2015?... If only you can go take a look at it, you will understand why there cannot be a single progress this year, it is not just a 'new government' thing, absolutely nothing was budgeted for capital projects in the 2015 budget and it was not PMB's government that compiled this 2015 budget. Ideally, we should patiently wait for the 2016 budget to see exactly what the CHANGE they promised us is all about. If Nigeria gets better, irrespective of who sits in Abuja, it will be to the benefit of us all; and if peradventure things don't turn out better (God forbid), just like I said earlier, we will look for a way to kick him out.

But the main point of concern is the SW and middle belt, these guys had no ethnic/tribal/religious sentimental links to both candidates hence they voted GEJ in 2011 and seeing that he wasnt up to the task, they voted the other man in 2015. Very simple logic.

These girls do not know the power of d1ck walahi.

Sha, the girls are supposed to be behind bars by now, I tried to inform one man when I read the news but he was in shower.

Reliable sources said he was preparing for a trip to Bermuda Triangle.
Except I am not clear on the law, i think Nigeria banned gay/lesbian 'marriage.' Does the 14years law cover people involved in just the act?

What a nonsense this is unbelievable impeccable now I believe the words of PDP how can the tribunal make such silly judgement, honestly I don't see common sense in this shameful jurisdiction, two elections which held on the same second and day, voters exercised their franchise on same moment and tribunal nullify the Governorship and out of 32 state lawmakers in Rivers state with the election of 21 members nullified, so what happened to the 11 lawmakers? These means there was election therefore the judgement of the tribunal is unsacrosanct believe me thanks I remain Forayleo.
So what happened to the remaining 11 lawmakers?...

Do you have an idea of how court processes work?.... Are you aware that in court, even if the situation is very clear for all to see even in black and white, you still need to provide hard evidence and witnesses to prove your case in court?

The petitioners in the remaining 11 cases were probably not able to provide substantial evidence in court to prove their case that the election was flawed in their locations, hence their elections were not cancelled. The state house of assembly tribunal would not go and borrow evidence from the governorship tribunal to claim that the election was flawed. It is the duty of the individual petitioners in the other 11 cases to go around and gather these evidence.

Any person who still argues that there were elections in Rivers state needs to have his/her head checked. The entire election in Rivers state was an embarrassment to every reasonable human, only sub-humans would call that an election and only sub-sub-humans would think Buhari actually had to influence the tribunals before the tribunals rule on the obvious fact that the Rivers election was a sham.

Good idea, if only PMB and APC will not interfere with the elections then. PMB won because Jonah was honourable enough not to interfere.

Hope the trend continues. Let our votes count. Let the voice of the masses be heard through their vote. That will be great. grin
Something you need to understand is that things can only get better as regards elections. If the people stand up and vote and defend their votes, there is hardly anything the politicians can do to subvert the will of the people. Long ago, the people were nonchalant and believed their votes don't count, hence no one bothers to come out to defend their votes. But now, with the recent awareness that even an incumbent president can be kicked off through an election, I can assure you that many more people would be more interested in voting and defending their votes now. It would no longer be business as usual for election riggers and there will hardly be anything the power of incumbency can do.
