IbnSultaan:Something is definitely wrong with the source of this your information. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/192565-nigeria-customs-names-six-new-deputy-comptrollers-general.html |

pazienza:I admire your sense of determination and focus; all I can say is goodluck! However, even though you will NEVER accept this openly (for obvious reasons), the fact remains that the ipob struggle received a huge boost in popularity and followership after GEJ's election loss (also for obvious logical reasons). This remains a glaring fact which is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf, accepting or denying it does not change what it is, A FACT! |
pazienza:Bro, stop trying too hard to twist facts. There's no doubt that Ipob and radio biafra existed before 2015. I am also not arguing that you've been an adherent even long before 2015. But coming here to say it became popular only after Buhari's government tried to jam its frequency or arrest it's people, that is obviously you trying too hard to turn logic on its head. The FG before 2015 never cared about Radio Biafra simply because it was not popular and was insignificant distraction. Radio biafra became popular only after the 2015 election results were announced and it was only because of its radically growing popularity and massively growing followership, that's why the FG heard and decided to give a damn about it by attempting to jam the frequency. Using its popularity on Nairaland as a case study, I doubt there were up to 5 threads talking about Biafran secession or IPOB or radio biafra in the last 5 years (preceding the 2015 election). But since May 28th till date, I wouldn't doubt if there are now up to 500 pro-Biafran threads on this website. Radio biafra was simply a soothing hope reviving alternative where thousands of Igbos who felt really sad over the election result decided to turn to. Trying to separate the rising popularity of Kanu/RB from the events of the election is simply illogical and childish. |
pazienza:Lol.. You always wilfully fail to acknowledge the point where it says the 'upsurge' in the Biafran struggle started after 2015 elections yet you call someone saying the plain truth brain dead. Nobody doubts the existence of Massob and ipob and radio biafra for years, but membership and followership of these organisations exploded only after the election. I wonder why most adherents are ashamed to admit to this glaring fact. |
Chanchit:I am aware of your sarcasm. |
We've been hearing this same promise from every single administration since 1999. ![]() |
plainol:I thought I was the only one who noticed this. From the first picture, I couldn't help but wonder, is Mr Obuah still GEJ's CSO?... is Col. Adegbe still GEJ's ADC?.... And then a closer look at the second and third picture shows that they all wore different clothes. I think the first picture is old. |
For every single Yoruba or Hausa owned bungalow in the SE, Igbos own 1000 storey buildings in the SW and north. However, in their rare 'wisdom', some disgruntled elements believe the best thing for Igbos to do in present day Nigeria is to break away even through non-peaceful means. This lends credence to what I have always said that it is only the empty vessels and never-do-wells that are clamouring for this secession, especially the Nnamdi Kanu styled violent and tribal hatred based secession. |
ki02020:Unfortunately, it is the empty vessels that make the loudest noise, thereby giving the impression that the entire ethnic group is in support. |
Senator Sani has said nothing but the truth; the whole upsurge of the Biafran idea is just a direct reaction to the 2015 election result; a very hypocritical struggle. Chanchit:The IQ of some of the pro-secessionists can really be embarrassingly mind boggling... I can assure you these are the kind of stories some of them believe and peddle and this is what gives them the courage to go protesting and daring the trigger happy Nigerian police... ![]() |
Keyamo has just hit the nail on the head. This is pure common sense, but PDP has been trying hard to sound objective without applying logic. How can you define where you are going if you dont 'appraise' where you have been? |
TonyeBarcanista:Now I really find this offensive that there are still people who lie to themselves and to the gullible out there that GEJ fixed the onitsha owerri road. What sort of pit of hell lie is this? ![]() That road was fixed to 98% by OBJ. GEJ only came in to do a commissioning yet some miscreants keep brandishing this road as GEJ's achievement? ![]() |
TonyeBarcanista:Resign and then what happens?... He hands over to Prof Osinbajo?... Or maybe the prof resigns too and they hand over power to Saraki? Instead of you PDPians to go back to the drawing board, put on your thinking caps (that's if you guys have any) and try to strategise on 2019, you are here wishing for the president to resign with the hope that you could drag power from some kind of backdoor. Shame! ![]() |
Lol... Nigerian politics ![]() |
ijustdey:PDP itself is corruption personified; PDP is the human organisation personification of the word 'corruption.' Contrary to the appointment and confirmation of Amaechi, the real action (or rather, inaction) of the present government which is a 'formal approval of corruption' is letting the members of the PDP to still be roaming freely on our streets. All those PDPians need to be locked up and the keys discarded for keeping Nigeria in bondage for 16 years. This is the only area where I am really disappointed with Buhari. |

WHere has he gone to? |
Ladipodeal:The project was completed on paper and used to deceive our brothers who wilfully chose to be deceived that GEJ was the best thing God ever created. |
Some people would still find some fault in this unprecedented development; some people would still come here to ask "where is the CHANGE?" ![]() |
Op, if there was the required raw materials, market, seaport, etc in her village, I doubt she would want to move such an investment to Lagos. When locating businesses, people generally consider economic and social convenience before they consider 'patriotism'. If I live in Lagos and if i will earn N10 profit per month as against N5 I will earn in my village, I will most likely locate my business in Lagos; this is not really foolishness as you claim, it is callled economic expedience. Even Dangote is locating his refinery in Lagos. |
Ok |
hinwazaka:Only corrupt minds and souls still think there is something like 'JUICY' in government positions. Unfortunately for your likes and fortunately for Nigeria, we are no longer in the old order. Even if I try hard to condescend to your manner of reasonings as regards juicy and non-juicy posts, I still find it difficult to fathom how you have interpreted FINANCE, HEALTH, WORKS, TRANSPORT, POWER and PETROLEUM as non-juicy positions..... or maybe you are just some idle busy-body desperately looking for something to say even when there's none? |
Love Machine:Please yourself. |
Love Machine:Your allegation is baseless, quit whining like a child. GEJ lost a democratic election and is no more the president, try and live with that and stop these immature outbursts. Elections are long over and you are not doing yourself any good by living in the past, now is the time to be serious. Go and read the report about the release of those suspects, it was written in plain and simple english; some of the suspects were released after investigations found them to be innocent. The Nigerian Army is not a stupid organisation that will just release suspects in their custody without investigating. http://m.news24.com/news24/Africa/News/Nigerian-army-releases-128-Boko-Haram-suspects-20150909 |
Love Machine:How come they were not all granted pardon?... Why did it have to be a few?... Stop being unnecessarily prejudiced towards the government because you dont like Mr president. |
Love Machine:After being held in custody for several months, some of the prisoners were released. Please how did you come to this conclusion that the released persons were not investigated first?... |
Once again, I totally doubt that this is petrol. I know there are many foolish people out there but we are not this foolish. This must be kerosene. |
BLIND MAN'S SLAP SENDS PREGNANT LADY CRASHING TO THE GROUND!!! ![]() |
PassingShot:Dont bother responding to imbeciiles. They would end up dragging you to their level. |
Can people really be this foolish?... Including the cars driving past at the side?... I doubt this fluid is petrol, it must be kero or diesel. |
MuamarGaddaffi:Someone doesnt really have to be an engineer by training to know some basic engineering laws. Even 1000 tiger head batteries cannot cook 2-minute noodles; the person you quoted is obviously not the ignorant one as you claim. An explanation has been given as to how that stove works, it is a normal charcoal stove, but instead of the hand fan that our boli and roasted corn sellers use to fan the charcoal to make it burn faster/hotter, the producer of this stove has fitted a battery powered fan to fan the charcoal, thereby making the 'normal' charcoal stove more efficient. A brilliant idea though. |
