chuna1985:I'm very sure you are a man with a sound mind and you understand what I have just explained, hence your tacit silence and exit. |
chuna1985:In 2011, the SW abandoned their own ACN candidate and they also abandoned their own son Tunde Bakare who was Buhari's VP and they voted massively for Jonathan. I guess that is your definition of voting based on tribe? In 2011, the entire SW, NC, SS and SE and even some states in the NE like Adamawa and Taraba all voted for GEJ. Even in the NW states, GEJ pulled almost 3.4 million votes against Buhari's 6.4million votes and this is supposed to be Buhari's zone in the North. As a matter of fact, if the entire 5 million votes which GEJ got from the SE was subtracted and added to Buhari's figure, GEJ would have still won the 2011 election clean and fair, no jokes! Fast-forward to the year 2015, a solid 5 years after everyone had sufficiently watched GEJ's performance, and the entire equation changes; the SW and NC withdraw their support, the NE states withdraw their support and also, the millions of GEJ votes from the NW disappears. The SS maintains their support for obvious reasons and the SE maintains their support (this time with fanaticism) for reasons I absolutely cannot fathom. My brother my brother, if you cannot discern from this scenario that there was something GEJ did not do right between 2011 and 2015, then I'm sorry, your case is truly irredeemable. God help you and all others like you out there! |
chuna1985:Lol.. We are back to this same argument again of whether GEJ was a 'good' president or not. I'm sorry but this issue has been thrashed a long time ago. The world over, only Igbos have refused till date to acknowledge there was anything wrong with GEJ's leadership; even GEJ's own kinsmen in the SS have come out openly to set the records straight, they have acknowledged he had a poor performance but that they only supported him because he was their brother and a minority. However, only Igbos like Chuna1985 have still not realised what everyone means when they say GEJ was incompetent. It's a pity bro, your case is irredeemable. Good day! |
porka:Not everyone out there is soliciting for crumbs from politicians, not everyone you come across speaks up because they hope to get paid by whoever. There are a lot of people who speak up simply because they dream of seeing a better Nigeria in their lifetimes. |
Kaiii! Nigeria's brand of politics can sometimes be appalling. Anyway, the fact and hard truth remains that, while Rivers indigenes are happily supporting a 'thug' as their governor over a seemingly gentle man Peterside, the Amaechi who they erroneously think they are punishing is now happily sipping, chilling and resting as a honourable minister in Abuja after completing 8 years as speaker and 8 years as a governor. What else could be the definition of a fulfilled politician and what else could be the definition of misplaced priority/aggression by Rivers people? ![]()

Lionsclaw:Well, if the SE, SW and SS can team up with a common goal, there is nothing that we cannot achieve; although I'm almost sure this SW+SE unity is a 'future impossible tense' ![]() |
shammah1:Lol.. Like I said, criticising the present administration when they goof should never be misconstrued as 'regret' for not returning the last disaster of 2010-2015. If I fallout with the present administration and start lambasting them, it does not in any way mean that I regret kicking out the last mediocrity, try not to mix these things up. And again, this is a clear pointer to the fact that most of the vocal people who supported the emergence of PMB are not bootlickers or irredeemable sycophants. When the administration messes up, we are the first to acknowledge and lambaste it; unlike what we had in the days of Jonathan and his Jonathanian flock. ![]() |
ricsman:I suppose you should go and ask the people spreading the news and not me. |
IbokUtoroh:Any human criticising a 2 weeks old administration is not worthy of being taken seriously, Yes! most of you guys started criticising PMB from the first week. |
Hmmm |
sunny12345679:Federal might cannot make APC win in delta because they didn't have a popular candidate. APC has no business in the delta governorship elections and they are not fighting or scheming for it; the contest is purely between Okowa and Ogboru, period! |
ricsman: sunny12345679: stebell:The main contender in Delta state is Ogboru of LP and not APC. I even doubt if the APC dude went to the tribunal at all. This is a PDP vs LP matter and has nothing to do with APC. |
warrior01: ERockson:Lol.. See them! Did you guys just imply that we fought for nothing?... It is very clear from the tweets that nothing could be worse than the world record mediocrity of 2010-2015. Even if this government doesn't live up to expectation, we will gladly vote them out in 2019, but be ye reminded that no matter how bad this government turns out to be, the monumental achievement of booting the last mediocrity out can never be overemphasized. At least now Nigerians know it is possible to boot out a non-performing incumbent, that is a great step forward. |
They should put heads together and fix that Aba-Ikot Ekpene |
Na cooperation na him make the rice full pot! I may be pro-apc but I must confess in all honesty, I was quite pleased with the new found and unprecedented unity of the SE and SS post-elections and I have always dreamt of the day the SS+SE+SW would unite in a common cause; certainly on that day, the northern hegemony would be broken and some retrogressive policies like federal character/quota system and our strange version of federalism would be revisited. However, this new development doesn't augur too well for this dream of unity in the south. The pack of cards seems to have been scattered and this is certainly not a good development. Politics should be separated from ethnicity, politics involving two brothers (who may even reconcile tomorrow) should never be allowed to create ethnic friction. The lessons in the Lagos governorship elections should not be forgotten so soon. |
If Wike must probe Amaechi, then in line with the recommendations of the PDPians/Jonathanians to Buhari, wike must start probing Rivers state leadership from the days of Peter Odili to Celestine omehia up till amaechi. In fact, Wike should start probing from Melford Okilo ![]() |
Warlord3000:Please this has nothing to do with weed, rather this sort of reasoning has everything to do with an inborn dullness/delusion. The blame cannot and should not be put on weed. And lest I forget, the larger population of igbos should stop being insulted because of the activities or reasoning of these microscopic few dullards; you should remember that the empty vessels makes the loudest noise and that's the exact case playing out here. |
When will igbos and yorubas ever stop measuring dickks in this space called Nigeria?... ![]() |
Happy Birthday to the Wailer in Chief, a natural born political analyst and May your days be long, long enough to see the APc continue beyond 2019 .. Long enough to see your children and children's children etc. |
ELTON123:Why did you not show this kind of rabid hatred to Yaradua? |
If the wailers don't wail, who will? |
PassingShot:Hahaha... Tell them! |
saint047:The real question you should be asking is, "how did Diezanni spend in hiring those jets?"... and how much has the customs spent in 'hiring' or owning this jet. The criticism against Diezanni was the price tag she claimed she spent hiring jets; if I remember the argument, the amount spent could have comfortably bought more than 1 brand new plane jet. Now I 'think' the Nigerian Customs owns this plane which the comptroller has just used. Please let us try to be objective in our comparisons. Until I see the amount it cost the customs to either hire or own this plane, until the amount is proven to be exorbitant, then there is really nothing to criticise here and there is absolutely no basis for comparison or both cases. |
For all those calling out Rochas for not fixing a major federal road, is this a case of sheer ignorance or is it a case of willful mumuism? The contract for this road was awarded since the time of Yaradua, no work was ever done on it until the then governor of Rivers State, the Lion of Ubima decided to take it upon himself to fix the Rivers state axis of the road to a marvelous state. This road was one of my biggest problems with my Igbo brothers in the last administration; during the elections, some dubious Igbo miscreants were deceiving fellow unsuspecting Igbos and the world at large that GEJ had fixed this road and my people were jumping around that GEJ was a messiah to the SE. As a matter of fact, this road was dubiously mentioned twice in the list of GEJ's achievements in the south east zone; - PH to owerri road (fixed) - Elele to owerri road (fixed) But it was a lie.... Man's inhumanity to man. As a matter of fact, GEJ's five year regime never completed a single major project in the entire SE zone, except for appointing a generous number of self-serving men/women to go enrich themselves. I am still yet to understand the kind of love portion that GEJ injected in the waters in the SE. |
Sometimes the right things to do for some people is to hide their faces in shame. |
Ahh... this one get as e be oo... No further comments! |
6pax:Hahahaha... evil men! ![]() |
amojis:Chaiii... abokii na abokii!... but now he makes me crave that thing called sugarcane, it's been ages!
