Someone would soon kick-start a campaign saying he's being persecuted because he is Igbo. Meanwhile the dolts who would eventually fall for this crappy reasoning would not consider the fact that the man actually stole the money from poor Igbo communities.

What a lot of people do not understand is that the fighting force of bokoharam has been decimated by the Nigerian military. The onslaught against the terrorist camps in the run-up to the elections was successful in neutralising the strength of BH and the fighters are now scattered in a thousand directions hiding amongst the innocent populace. Those asking why there's no bombing of bokoharam any more are just being mischievously ignorant; how can you bomb people that are now scattered from their camps?

That we no longer hear of BH fighters moving around in convoys or seizing territory is a clear indication that they no longer have a united force. The present tactics the terrorists employ is to send out abducted female teenagers to go blow themselves up as suicide bombers, this unfortunately is the hardest part of any war and even the all sophisticated US military was never able to tackle suicide bombers in Iraq before they fled the country.

Na God go help us!

Sweetlemon:
Since May 29th, there has been an increase in attacks. Have you also noticed that BH usually do not strike during Ramaddan? But this ramaddan hardly a day has gone by without an attack even in mosques! (I’m sure this has removed any doubt about BH being an Islamic agenda because it should be clear to all now that it is pure politics)
Let me explain why I believe this BH thing is either a PDP project or an Arab thing.
During PDP rule, PDP kept on blaming attacks on APC, stating that they want to “sabotage their government” there was a deliberate attempt to blame northerners, and make Christians hate Muslims. I remember so well how they did this wrecking havoc and discord in the minds of gullible Nigerians.
Fast forward to APC rule, PDP is now saying that we will beg them to return. Please what the hell is that supposed to mean? What arrogance! Look at NL for instance; we can see I-regret-voting-Buhari inducing threads all over the place. Never mind that this started right from the first week of Buhari’s take over which is totally unrealistic no matter how and where you look at it. I'm also thinking that GEJ's Facebook remark on BH was also Is there a calculated attempt to make Nigerians "aww and eh yaa" that he's such a sweet man that we threw away. Definitely they are trying to make Nigerians regret voting APC and some gullible peeps will fall for this. Let’s never ever forget the Azizi “BH is PDP” saga just before the mysterious helicopter crash.
The only other suspect here is the Arab world, although I won’t be surprised if they are not directly involved. My main suspects are PDP and the traitors in the APC.

I give kudos to APC for not playing the blame game so far even though they inherited this mess from PDP. Instead, Buhari has taken responsibility and promised solution. Unlike PDP/GEJ who kept on blaming everything and everyone until the last weeks to the elections.
The moment Nigerians will start seeing bokoharam as a terror organisation that is out there to steal, kill and destroy, the better for us all. But it is obvious the brain of a Nigerian is only configured to see things as politics and that is very unfortunate.

This was the exact mistake the past administration made; assuming and believing that bokoharam was politics by APC. While they continued to delude themselves that it was all politics, the terrorist group continued to grow from strength to strength.

Now some people have still not learnt from that experience. The typical Nigerian only myopically sees things from the microscopic prism of politics.

Others were Senator Muhammadu Musiliu Obanikoro (Lagos) to serve as the Minister of State for Defence, Mohammed Wakil (Borno) will serve as Minister of State for Power; Alhaji Abduljelili Adesiyan (Osun) is the new Minister of Police Affairs, while Ambassador Aminu Wali (Kano) is the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Others included Mrs. Akon Eyakenyi (Akwa Ibom), who will serve as the Minister of Lands and Housing; while Lawrencia Laraba Mallam (Kaduna State) bagged the portfolio of Ministry of Environment.
Minister of State for Agriculture is Hajia Asabe Asmau Ahmed (Niger), while Dr. Khaliru Alhassan (Sokoto State) is the new Minister of State for Health.
There is pure application of federal character in ministerial appointments; every state is usually represented so you cannot use the ministerial list to compare the list of parastatal heads. Buhari hasnt appointed ministers yet and when he does, every state of the federation would surely be represented.

So put this your ministerial list aside please.

In some airports, plane tracks are marked on the ground with single lines; all the pilot needs to do is to follow the lines marked on the floor and such incidents would never occur. I may be wrong but incidents like this are due to
1. pilot error
2. poor airport lighting
3. poor control by those airport traffic guys on the ground who direct the pilots.

The cause of this is most likely from no 3.

The main article spells it out clearly that the funding is coming from recent LNG proceeds to the federation account but as usual you chose to leave out that part so you and your fellow tanoids can have a filled day. Besides if the transition committee discovered that for instance 50 billion dollars was supposed to be left in treasury but maybe 5 billion dollars was left, that is tantamount to meeting an empty treasury. Even primary school should teach you that one. The president even actually said virtually empty ;but you left out that part as well. Wailing wailers una nor de tire?

Really?
I should have left out the 'two-months' time frame that has been popular reported and not a single time has the president or his party come out to deny (even as they often do) that he never said so.

So what sense would the topic make if that particular information was not expounded in the post?

On the other hand, granted he only promised to defeat boko haram without stipulating the time frame, the question remains, are we loosing the war or loosing it under his watch?
Including the 2 months timeline makes no sense because the issue has been discussed severally on this website and the matter thrown in the dustbin a long time ago. The presidency has more important issues to be dealt with and you cannot expect them to possibly respond to every single thrash conjured by opposition reporters or individuals.

There is still a video link to the Buhari CNN interview, if you are sincere with yourself, you would simply go to the CNN site and watch the video for yourself instead of continually making a fool of yourself with this argument.

I don't intend for this post to be too long and boring, rather my intention is to be as brief but as matter-of-factly as possible. Therefore, for some of those who do not appreciate lengthy pieces and are not always keen to go through them before commenting/reacting.

For me, any and every thing President Buhari did in his bid to be the President of Nigeria that escalated the the orchestrated annihilation by the blood thirsty Islamic sect were mistakes.
At the same time, any and every thing President Buhari has done, said and has not don't since he was elected and sworn in as our president and commander-in-chief which has contributed directly or indirectly to the skyrocketted increase in the number of boko haram victims are all mistakes.

Buhari's Actions and Inactions that constitute grave mistakes on Boko Haram are:

Making unrealistic and utopian boast that he will crush boko haram in two months of his administration;

Relocation of the military engine room to boko haram stronghold;

Failure to issue statements every time an attack takes place;

Refusal to caution his follow fulani herdsmen to desist from killing innocent, helpless and hapless Nigerians which may have also motivated the insurgents to intensify their own attacks, as it now seems that carrying that out is simpler than before;

Failure to make key appointments for the nation to be run as it should be and for the various sectors of the economy to be affected for a corresponding reduction in crime rates in the society;

Sack of the DSS DG, Ita Ekpeyong and subsequent appointment of a Daura man who had left the Service years ago and quite aged too, with little or no knowledge on how to contribute to the contention, let alone elimination of the insurgents;

Failure to wade into and resolve the National Assembly crises and APC crises which is having far-reaching negative consequences on the nation;

Failure to kick-start his much touted unbiased anti-corruption war, the very reason most Nigerians wasted their votes on him;

Having said that, since I can't lay claim to the monopoly of knowledge as some Nigerians like doing, I will also call on some others to add to my list above.
Your post would have been sensible had it been you did not include the bolded premise. I stopped reading after I got to the bold phrase. Buhari never placed a timeline for ending BH. The so called CNN interview is still up on the website for anyone to view. It was some stupidd TANoid who originated the 2 months timeline and it is only an irredeemably dolt that would still be judging PMB with this fictitious timeline even when the video of the interview still exists.

When PDP was playing advanced politics and having a PDP man emerge as DSP in an APC assembly, a lot of PDP sympathisers celebrated the 'civilian coup' and claimed they were teaching APC how to play politics.

Now APC has just woken up and decided to play the PDP dirty politics.

Politics › Re: Vindictive Buhari Replaces Marilyn Ogar With Another Fulani by obailala(m): 4:30pm On Jul 05, 2015
AtlanticBreeze:
Newly appointed director general of the Department of State Security, Lawal Musa Daura, has demoted Marilyn Ogar, the agency’s former spokesperson, via a memo.
Apart from demoting Ms. Ogar, the acting DSS director general also directed the demotion of numerous other officers of the agency who were just promoted in March in what was seen as a politically motivated exercise.

Ms. Ogar was seen as a controversial official of the DSS who often made statements that were deemed partisan. Her promotion was viewed as a reward for doing dirty political jobs for former President Goodluck Jonathan and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Promotions of officers in the DSS are usually done at the end of each year, but Ms. Ogar and 44 others were promoted last March. Even so, their promotion was not made public until May.

SaharaReporters learned that Ms. Ogar is currently on vacation, and is reportedly visiting her children resident in the US. In addition to her premature promotion, Ms. Ogar was was also offered a generous scholarship to do a PhD in the UK, according to one source at the agency.

Mr. Daura also fired Abdulrahman Mani, the chief security officer to President Muhammadu Buhari and immediately replaced him with Bashir Abubakar, an assistant director in the Bayelsa State command of the DSS.

Mr. Mani was then posted to Ebonyi State.
http://saharareporters.com/2015/07/04/dss-director-demotes-marilyn-ogar-others-promoted-past-administration
First of all, this was a long overdue action by PMB. The dignity of the SSS was totally stripped in the tenure of GEJ (especially during the run-up to the general elections). The SSS completely embarrassed itself by being partisan in the dumbest ways ever imagined. I remember the SSS ransacking the APC office in Lagos and Marilyn Ogar telling Nigerians that the APC was hacking into INEC database. Even INEC denied the possibility of that because their systems were not 'online' but Marilyn Ogar insisted and the APC office was held hostage forw weeks..

I also remember her other dumb attempt at being dangerously partisan by accusing the APC of being behind bokoharam insurgence. When asked to explain how the SSS came up to that conclusion, she claimed that a bomb went off in Borno when APC lost the election in anambra and ekiti respectively, but no bombs went off in Borno when APC won Osun election; and so therefore, APC must be behind bokoharam. How intelligent!!

The demotion and outright sack of the entire leadership of the GEJ SSS is long overdue. Those guys threw professionalism to the dogs and the dignity of the agency needs to be restored.

Meanwhile can the silly Op of this thread kindly point out where in the report it says that Marilyn was replaced by a Fulani man?
