Bros did you notice Sanusi has become much more sane since the riot act was read to him, Sanusi no longer plucks figures from thin air to malign the presidency.
What is this mogodo character spewing all over this thread? angry

Sanusi told Nigerian that their spineless president watches helplessly and cluelessly as his cronies and enemies alike are plundering our collective wealth... In all his interviews, he clearly stated that his patriotic duty is simply to inform Nigerians of the rot and he also urged Nigerians not to be afraid of vested interests (just like GEJ is scared).

After all the silly rants by the presidency, where is Sanusi today?.. he has retired to become the emir of kano which has always been his life long ambition and dream.

So I ask again, wtf is mogidi spewing about Sanusi?

Are you expecting the president to go in search of Shekau, why not criticise those whose job it is to find Shekau?
So whose job is it to go after shekau?... I guess it is my job because I am the the chief security officer of the nation right?...

Obviously it is not the presidency's job to go after shekau but it is the presidency's job to arrest the speaker?

You are a very dangerous person. It seems you have missed the last 20 years in molecular genetics, molecular epigenetics, systems biology and complex systems and you write from a fundamentally misinformed base. Let’s just get this straight, you don’t understand how genetics works in a developmental context, and that’s a shame because information ONLY WORKS IN A DEVELOPMENTAL context. You have consistently unabashedly demonstrated that you fundamentally don’t understand, and rather will not even consider the probabististic nature of developmental processes. Your 5th grade conception of biological processes does not qualify you to possess the opinions you have which is because you write in pop-blog. The only thing that bothers me is that people with even less understanding might read your misinformed opinions and mistake them with a scientific consensus.

This is a right move.

Is he still the speaker of the House? NO

He got Speaker's post because PDP was and is still the majority in the House. Now that he has pitched his tent with APC which has minority in the House, the right thing to do is to relinquish his position immediately he decamped.

I don't know why some people want to create unnecessary attention.

You can't eat your 'gworo kola' and have it back!
Nigerians foolishly supporting anarchy because they think it favours them... I thought this dispute is in court and the court has asked the status quo to remain pending final judgement?.... How can the president brazenly flout a court order and some stoopid Nigerians are happy about this saying it is the right thing?

A whole battalion of soldiers just to break a court order and prevent one unarmed man from entering a building yet soldiers in the north east are crying of poor backup and arms.

What sort of desperation for power is this by the president?

Whynotthetruth:
How are those states APC strongholds? Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe majorly and then Niger, Bauchi, Gombe, etc with traces of the insurgency... So what made them APC strongholds please? Which party control these states? Aren't they more of PDP than APC? Even borno, the epicenter of boko haram is not entirely APC?
Again, how do you determine a strong leader? What do you expect GEJ to do to show he's a strong leader? Is it to become a tyrant or a dictator? Or to intimidate people? What leadership skills do you think are lacking in him?
Most times, in trying to sound intelligent we betray our ignorance...I need answers to all my questions to you please...don't be selective in answering them...thanks
How are those states APC strongholds?
Are you seriously asking me how Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa are APC states?.. As long as I can remember, Bornu and Yobe have always been APC and I dont see the people of those states voting in PDp anytime soon. Go and look at the 2011 election results and you will understand why the PDP is worried about those states voting massively for APC. Adamawa is ruled by PDP presently but have you ever asked yourself why the last governorship election in scheduled in October was cancelled just days before the exercise?... With Nyako crossing to APC and then being impeached, his deputy was also deposed and couldn't take over. Elections were scheduled but at the last minute, PDP clearly saw the hand-writting on the wall that the APC had the upper hand and the deposed deputy governor (who is still PDP) was returned and quickly made governor by a surprisingly quick court verdict to stop the election.

I do not have the time presently to start explaining to you how or why GEJ is not a sound or strong leader. You do not need to look too far from your nose to see this.

Obasanjo/Atiku ruled nigeria for 8 yrs and the likes tambuwal who was also in PDP forth night ago, who is more PDPies than these people. why the gang up.
Because you think a a group of unscrupulous elements are ganging up against the president, so therefore you will vote for the incompetent president just to spite these group of people who are ganging up against him?... Well done!.. You have a very good sense of judgement and priority.

I know your next question would be, "how is Jonathan incompetent?"... Most typical Nigerians feel good governance or leadership competence is all about renovating/repainting 1960 trains or parching up some highways. Many people obviously do not know that it is the administrative incompetence of the leader that has led the nation to the current unprecedented state of extreme division along ethnic, tribal and religious lines and this incompetence has also led to the rise and rise and spread of terrorism (if the leader was competent, he would have fished out and flushed out the terrorist and their sponsors, whoever they may be).

I wouldn't want to even mention his absolute weakness and cowardice towards fighting corruption which is almost making the nation bankrupt. Obviously, many do not have an idea of the rate of looting going on under this regime by both the friends and enemies of the president but he remains too scared to even comment about it. Instead he tends to defend/deny it because he knows he hasn't gotten the balls to fight it. A little pointer to this unprecedented corruption is the fact that as at 2007, there were only 25 private jet owners in the country, but now there are over 250 (google forbes.com to confirm this) but still, some Nigerians do not still want to believe that something is really wrong with this development.

It may interest you to know that the gang-up against the president is only possible because the man is intellectually deficient, weak and administratively incompetent. That is why every riff-raff takes the slightest opportunity to pick on him and at the end, innocent Nigerians are the victims. However, you want to vote him to continue leading your country because some unscrupulous elements are ganging up against him?... once again I say, Welldone and Goodluck!

Boko Haram was also a way to give a dog a bad name to hang him. we should know that nobody can govern a multiethnic gruop country like nigeria if some ethnics element or group are out to fustrate that felow.
Every government all over the world faces opposition. The opposition only becomes more daring and brutal IF and only IF the government allows it to. The present Nigerian government has allowed the insurgency to fester not only because of the presidents weakness and poor leadership skills but also because the president believes his 2015 ambition would actually be favoured by the activities of the insurgence.

With elections fast approaching and the troubled regions being mainly APC strongholds, I can almost swear with my life that the country's leadership has deliberately allowed the terrorists to operate freely so as to prevent elections in those regions.

No?

It is the same with juju.
you need to concentrate the power.
That is why ombatse boys do their juju together.
So when they move, the concentration of their juju will be too much for the opponents.
Egbesu boys do the same thing.
Before they go for mission,'they have to concentrate and cleanse themselves.

The problem my husband is having is that NA, everybody is different different.

Any deep thinker who studies the rising and rising trend of bokoharam will totally agree with most of what is written in this report.

I keep saying it that our military may be ill equipped and ill motivated but that does not necessary make them weaker than the riff raffs that make up bokoharam. For the insurgence to be able to overwhelm the military and take over territories, there is certainly some high level sabotage going on which renders the military powerless. These saboteurs are definitely known by the presidency but for political expediency (2015), the president has decided not to act even while innocent lives of civilians and gallant soldiers keep being wasted.

The continuous pronouncement by the presidency that BH is owned and sponsored by the opposition party is just a silly political game to hoodwink voters to vote for the pdp. From all indications, the culpable saboteurs in the whole BH mess are men who belong to both political parties and the president knows this very well.

Great Ogboru has never lose election in delta state, he has only been denied victory due to d defiency in d electoral system in d country couple wit gross corruption im d legal system
Point of correction, people lose or win elections irrespective of the deficiencies in the electoral system. The real reason Ogboru continually loses elections is because he has stubbornly refused to join a relatively bigger party which can give him the required back-up to overcome the deficiencies of the electoral system.

Ogboru could have easily won the last election if he aligned with a party like ACN. A spineless party lik the LP cannot wrestle power from PDP in a state like Delta

Before now bokoharam was knows to carry out hit-and-run attacks. Now they are boldly taking over cities and sitting tight in these cities while our leaders worry only about re-election.

In my opinion, no matter how ill equipped or ill motivated the Nigerian army is, I don't believe bokoharam populated by rickety looking hungry men is a stronger force. There has to be a better explanation for BH taking over cities but I certainly do not believe the militants are more formidable than our military.

Now it's all beginning to make sense that the latest daring and unhindered advancements of BH is just a political ploy to make sure elections dont hold in those areas where the leadership of the country thinks they are not popular.

May God help us as these beasts keep playing with our lives.

Don't even waste your time; you will never find such...

Those who appreciate journalisn will never take any news from SHARIA Reporters
I know you have heard this a thousand times but you have wilfully decided not to comprehend it. SR was NOT established to report regular news; the mandate of SR is to report the rot in the government. They did this diligently from 2006 criticizing OBJ's govt especially during the 3rd term saga, they criticised Yaradua govt especially in his sickness saga (their criticism helped bring GEJ to power) and now, they are criticizing GEJ. If you are not comfortable with what they report against your god (GEJ), you can ignore their site and focus on other regular news options such as channels, nta or ait.

They are not a regular news site and as such you shouldn't expect them to deviate and start reporting the commissioning of a stadium... A doctor does not treat a healthy person!.... if the rot in the govt ceases then SR for lack of what to report may consider reporting regular news... but lets wait until then...

I am sure you have heard this 100 times but have refused to comprehend, SR's job is simply to report the rot perpetrated by the government in power. It beats my imagination how any right thinking being would now expect SR to leave what they are meant to do and start reporting something 'good' about Jonathan and his govt. Unfortunately, they are not political sycophants and would never be.

By the way, is there even anything good about Jonathan which is worthy of praise?... minus tribal attachments, ethnic bigotry and greed for the money he corruptly throws around, I dont think Jonathan would have a single supporter.

If you want to hear reports on good things about Jonathan you have loads of websites and media bodies to turn to but certainly not SR. Or do you expect a doctor to be treating a healthy person?
