Reptyle:On the contrary, these characters you term pseudo intellectuals are not totally brainless as you suggest. They know exactly what they are doing and their target is simply to "distort public opinion." In achieving this, these guys dont mind sounding like idiotss cos at the end of the day, they may be lucky to twist the brains of one or two unsuspecting victims. It is very imperative that the silly arguments of these guys are quickly countered with hard facts (at least until after the elections) so as to prevent them from winning unsuspecting gullible converts. |
These Jonathanians are conceding defeat too easily. How else do you explain all these crazy allegations cropping up everyday against the opposition candidate passionately begging INEC or the courts to disqualify him and allow Jonathan return unopposed? Even in the face of clear evidence, these unrelenting GEJites still shamelessly feign ignorance in a weak attempt to pull down the opposition candidate. I opened this thread thinking I would read something meaningful only to see another silly allegation that Hausa Language wasnt a WASC subject in 1961 ![]() |
This certificate brouhaha has revealed a very interesting dimension in the forthcoming elections. With the way PDP top shots and supporters alike are losing sleep everyday, desperately churning out silly allegation after allegation everyday and continuously praying for Buhari to withdraw from the race, it is clear these guys know something most Nigerians dont know and are therefore scared to the bones; it is clear these guys know that the PDP has already lost the election. Isn't it shameful that the almighty PDP is now virtually begging Buhari to step down from the race to give Jonathan an unopposed victory?... PDP where is your game spirit? |
coolscott:If only you took your time to approach the matter without bias, you would have understood that the Statement of Result was produced today, hence a present day template/letterhead was used and that is why you have the 20__ and NECO option on it. |
There is no doubt that the morale of the Nigerian Army has hit an all time low due to their inability to crush the BH insurgence. The worst thing that can happen to any military is for the soldiers to lose confidence in the ability of their C-in-C to be a C-in-C. This is the exact situation playing out in Nigeria presently. As it stands now, a very effective step towards boosting the morale of the troops would be to firstly flush out the present military chiefs. An even better and more effective morale booster would be an outright change in the C-in-C. I have absolutely no doubt in me that a change in C-in-C to someone who is ex-military would definitely restore the morale and confidence of our troops at this time of war. |
Now this whole certificate scandal hunting this man after 54 years is really scary. I need to go and scan several copies of my WAEC, primary 6, BSc, MSc, NYSC certificates and upload them to several websites as soon as possible. We never know when these things come back to hunt us. By the way, why is the focus on his WASC result?... What if he is able to produce his higher educational qualifications from the US Army War College?... I suppose that should supersede the requirement for his WASC certificate? ![]() |
There are 2 ways to campaign; either you sell yourself or you pull down your opponent. It is obvious the PDPians/Jonathanians/TANoids/GEJites have absolutely nothing to sell in their master, that is why every morning I wake up to see a new silly allegation on the frontpage of Nairaland.... and by the time the day is far spent, the silly myth will be busted again... and then the shameless lot will return to their drawing boards. In deep frustration, the entire PDP chieftains are desparately working day and night to find dirt on Buhari. Just Yestrday morning it was that Buhari would die in office and I still wonder why they foolishly think that would sway anyone to vote the clueless one. Unfortunately the task of searching for dirt on GMB is like finding dirt in distilled water. Even if there is dirt in Buhari, if it has taken the almighty PDP this long to dig up anything, then it means the General must be a very smart man unlike someone else we all know in abuja presently who openly says corruption ain't a sin. |
worry359:This has to be about the lamest attempt at defending mismanagement. Baggage carousels all over the world are designed to carry stacks of bags weighing over 300kg. |
bro4u:What is your definition of church activity? Someone standing on the road and sharing flyers? |
bro4u:What strain of blindness are you suffering from? Where did you see a pulpit in those pictures? WHat is wrong in an APC or PDP politician who attends a particular church? What is wrong if after the service (like we see in the picture), the politician or his aides decide to share campaign booklets or posters to his friends or church members or members of the public? What kind of silly criticism is this? |
Threads like this should be on the FRONTPAGE. A lot of people have been asking what the manifesto of APC is and how APC intends to bring about the much publicised "CHANGE." |
These rantings by Olisa Metuh does not even deserve a response. What is the business of PDP with the internal activities of APC? This has to be the peak of cluelessness being spread by the amiable president to his followers. This also portrays the extent of frustration and sleeplessness which the Buhari candidacy is giving to PDP; they no longer have a clue what else campaigns should be all about other that saying "Buhari, this Buhari that " |
The desperation of these PDPians, Jonathanians, TANoids, SATanoids and GEJites is now assuming a ridiculous and shameless dimension. What sort of nonsense is this? ![]() Yesterday it was a a fake picture of 2nd Niger Bridge project, this morning it was a fake picture of a housing estate in purpotedly built in the northeast and now this rubbish? Well, even if the General passes on a day after the election, at least we have a SANE Professor on standby who would pilot the affairs of the country... Whatever the case, the tried and tested failure called Jonathan Goodluck just has to leave the corridors of power. |
tivta:Did you see the pictures all over this thread pointing to you that the so called progress is non-existent and scam??.. or have you decided to be blind and delusional to the truth?? |
waternogetemeny:Dont let yourself to be deceived. This is politics season and most development news you you see springing up here and there (just like this one) are lies from the deepest pit of hell. Deceit of such nature is the exact reason Fr. Mbaka saw and turned his back on GEJ. You can deceive a lot of people, but you cannot deceive everybody for too long. Wake up and smell the coffee! The construction shown by the dubious Op of this thread is the Loko-Oweto Bridge and not the 2nd River Niger Bridge (whose plan has not even been decided). I only blame the Nairaland MOD who most likely placed this false thread on the frontpage with the speed of light all in a bid to spread falsehood and short-change the south east. The image below is a screenshot from the website of the contractors of the Loko-Oweto Bridge www.nairaland.com/attachments/2035967_baoo_jpeg6ece903942344ec858d77a61cda9b6c2 |
How did we get to such a low point in our nationhood?... No single country in the world takes Nigeria serious any more. |
tochukwuifeduba:3 things which are the love for Jonathan, the hate for Buhari and the fear that the elections might just not go the way of Jonathan is beginning to make some Jonathanians lose their sense of judgement. Firstly, just like it was mentioned by @theV0ice, are you aware that Buhari receives a pension as a former head of state which should be more than sufficient for himself and family (considering that most of his children are already grown up)?... Do you also realise that as a former head of state, he also enjoys certain other benefits like housing, security, medicals, vehicles and even possibly, his children's fees? I know your next line of action would be why he couldn't afford the presidential form. Even if he earns N27million monthly (which we all know he doesn't), so in your wisdom, you think he is not human and therefore does not have other issues that may eat into his income? Back to your first statement about "having just N1million in his bank account," where did you get that information from?... Did you hear it from Buhari's mouth?... It seems like the 3 factors I mentioned above have also eroded your basic comprehension skills. The only statement to that effect is credited to K. Fayemi and it reads, "at least N1million." I'm sure you should know the difference. |
theV0ice:..and when I think I've heard the worst, I hear even something more ridiculous. Just a while ago, another GEJite has just claimed that Buhari disregarded and insulted the south east by not campaigning with his wife in Owerri ![]() |
Now the reality is beginning to dawn on the GEJites that this election might not go their way after all... I can see a lot of strange threads like this one springing up all over the place bearing all the trappings of trembling supporters... A Jonathanian friend almost punched me through the phone this morning when I opposed him that Buhari can't be disqualified for presenting only an affidavit. If you guys are so sure Jona is the winner, why all these desperate efforts to disqualify the opposition? ![]() |
All the universities built by GEJ were simply 'name conversions.' They go to each state without a Federal University, select any existing polytechnic or college of education (or even a big secondary school) and change the name to "Federal University of..." ..And of course the only additional infrastructure would be the redesigning of the school gate and fixing of a huge signboard. When you hear the cost of creating these scam universities, you will weep. But what do we know?... Nigerians simply do not verify things hence we jump around and celebrate the mediocrity presented to us by these fraudsters |
MrCork:Dont worry, you will be put inside a crate... I promise you, you never see it. In fact, you will not see anything at all ![]() |
MrCork:Na yoruba suit and tie be that ! |
Customised Number Plate?... Interesting! These people really mean business this time around ![]()

dipo1234:Has Buhari ever been a member of PDP? Has Prof Osinbajo ever been a member of PDP? So what is all these noise about?... Are there no present politicians in PDP who were formerly in the APC?... APC is simply riding to the top with some power borrowed from PDP. Some of these GEJites keep saying PDP=APC and so therefore they can never vote APC but will vote PDP instead. This has to be a very silly analysis because if both are truly the same as you claim, then you can happily blindfold yourselves and vote for anyone. Again you say APC guys are Association of Past Criminals. By your statement you have simply confirmed that PDP is the Association of Present Criminals. Abeg make we hear word! ![]() |
This is really sad! It is with deep pain and despair that millions of Nigerians (esp from the south) are presently rooting for a Buhari. How did we get to this depressing crossroad?... Jonathan, How could you do this to us?... How did we get to this point as a nation where a Buhari is now seen as the best candidate?.. Jonathan has totally failed Nigerians (esp southerners) and wasted the overflowing goodwill and heavenly anointing which he enjoyed in 2010/2011. May God bless us with better days ahead, even as uncle Jona returns (with his loot) to Otuoke. |
NavierStokes:My dear, the reason behind this thread was to simply proof that GMB bought at least a single rifle as against the shameful verbal outbursts of GEJ. Except you are still shamefully insisting (just like Gej) that Nigeria didnt buy a single rifle in 1984, It makes no sense for me to start undergoing intensive research to get exact figures. |
hyfr:When dialogue or negotiations between an aggrieved party and the govt is to be made, such groups typically demand that a 'Respectable' snd trustworthy member of the society is present in the meeting as a witness... That doesnt mean the witness is a part of the group. When MEND was terrorising Nigeria and the FG wanted to dialogue, MEND chose Prof Wole Soyinka as their intermediary. On several occasions then, Henry Okah even had to visit Soyinka in his home. Does that now mean that Prof Wole is a member or sponsor of MEND? Wake up from your slumber bro! |
NavierStokes:The beginning of ignorance is when we arrogantly believe we know it all and therefore refuse to do a simple verification... Have you considered what the exchange rate was in the period in question? |
It is really pathetic that a lot of supposedly educated Nigerians cannot understand simple charts... Even in page 7 of this thread, some are still asking about '541 aircrafts.' Even if these guys are too dumb to interpret charts, several comments on this thread have clarified that it is $541m expenditure, yet we still have some people with iredeemably poor comprehension. Then again, some keep asking how come Nigeria could spend over $900million on defense on a N4billion budget.. Doubting even with all the glaring evidence presented so far on this thread and these individuals fail to realise that the Naira was almost equal to the dollar in the 80s. ![]() |
I just wonder if this would ever come to an end... May God help us! ![]() |
EUROBOMBER:In all parts of the world, the opposition leverages on the failures and gaffes of the ruling party as a campaign tool to ride on to power. This isn't a new thing and in fact, it is one of the beauties of democracy. I know some individuals here would start citing the France example or the US Sept-11 case. But if in the US or France, the president sat back doing nothing (and even doubting) for 3 weeks before he took any actions, the opposition would not only fry the president, but even his own party legislators would immediately commence impeachment proceedings. |
bondingman:For the fear of the unknown, you choose to repeat the same thing over and over again while you wait for a different result. Why do you think it would be difficult to vote out GMB if he underperforms?... You need to remember that the opposition by then would be the almighty PDP and the PDP can surely not be trampled upon (even if they dont hold power). I usually laugh when people make a certain statement that "Under Goodluck, we are now having free and fair elections." The real deal is that as time passed by, the opposition became more powerful and organised and the Nigerian populace became much more informed, stubborn and politically involved; thanks to the |
