Too many economic illiterates packed inside one thread. The majority commenting here automatically assume the N19bn Soludo talks of is revenue meant to accrue to the state govt.
You and other god of Men demonized the vaccine and made us believe it was the mark of the beast. But now, you want to take the mark of the beast to enable you preach the gospel of God.
If this doesn't make sense to an insane me, I wonder how much of a two-tongued sell-out sane people will see you as.
Behold how this one is spewing trash with so much confidence just to get likes. Kindly point out where he said the bolded...
kingthreat: Those clowns are paid to be writing in defense of ipob. Can you believe that despite the killing of Dr. Chike, they are yet to issue an apology.
Paid? Did you say paid?... If they're actually paid, then they arent as foolish as we all think; they'd just be hustlers hustling for bread.
loveth360: But you never pity the poor ones that was shot dead by your army for just protesting.
Hypocrites everywhere.
So your wise and sensible response to the extrajudicial killing of the poor ones by the army is for you to start killing and molesting other poor Igbos and destroying the economy of the south east?
How did we arrive at this nauseating level of mass ignorance?
gidgiddy: In other words, there is no evidence that IPOB killed anybody and any accusation against them is based on sentiments?
If sentiments become the basis of conviction, rather than evidence, everyone will ultimately end up in jail
Yeah, just the same way bokoharam hasnt really killed anyone before cos no one has been caught with a bokoharam inscription on their forehead to prove as submissible evidence that the murderous beasts are actually bokoharam.
Likewise the Fulani herdsmen militia accused of going on a murderous rampage from community to community across Nigeria. Afterall since none of them has been caught red-handed and evidently identified as a fulani herdsman, then there is absolutely no proof (besides hearsay and sentiments) that fulani herdsmen are responsible for those killings across Nigeria.
No offence, but you're sounding exactly like Malami and the other unfortunate fellow called Garba Shehu. Nigerians arent all children to be deceived with this cheap defence. Call out evil and stop defending nonsense!
gidgiddy: To all the enemies of IPOB, I challenge you to show any evidence that IPOB killed anyone. Show us fact based evidence
By evidence, I dont mean hear-say, online gossip, pictures of dead people or stories about unknown gunmen. They are unknown gunmen because nobody knows who they are. Show us what you have that makes you believe that IPOB is killing people
I will give an example. I always say that the security forces killed unarmed peaceful IPOB protesters. I was recently asked what evidence I have. Below is a video of a combined force of police and Army shooting and killing unarmed IPOB agitators who only gathered at the school field of National High School, Aba, in 2016. This is fact based evidence.
IPOB isnt exactly an organisation where it's members have ID cards or wear uniforms; so any attempt to extricate IPOB from the ongoing mayhem on the basis that no one has been caught with physical evidence to prove they are IPoB members, that's just a watery defence.
IPOB is more of an ideology, not a person or people. The miscreants committing untold crimes across the SE have been doing so based on the ideology of IPOb - attacking people who disobeyed IPOb sit at home orders, murdering people with police security or perceived saboteurs, burning police stations and INEC offices on the basis of IPoB's no election in SE etc. You cant exonerate IPoB from all that.
The very fact that IPOB adherents even explode in wild jubilation online, hailing and glorifying these crimes, including the activities of the 'Unknown Gunmen' (who some folks claim have no links with IPOB), that's already another indictment on IPOB.
Coldie: U mean where was south east senators, like when Abaribe brought up the notion last year about how Buhari wanted to borrow $24billion and excluded the whole south east from the list of projects and both Senate president and a lot of nincompoop internet trolls started talking rubbish all over the internet
But what the Niger senator did is exactly what Abaribe did. So why's the reaction different as though the FG released money for Niger but did not release money for the SE?
Coldie: Meanwhile no federal road in the entire south east is good, senate no send.
Is the senate there for all Nigerians or only the north?
L
Apparently a senator from Niger state raised a motion for the FG to come fix the terrible roads in Niger state; what were SE senators doing when this was going on?
Of course I wouldnt ever comprehend a twisted narrative; I dont even intend to... Especially when it comes from someone whose only only contribution to a topic is to say the country is stupid.
aikyg: You don't get it bro. Hopefully, somewhere in the near future you'll learn. Just hoping it won't be too late by then.
You're actually the one in need urgent education. Quit trying to be too clever.
BBN is organised by a private establishment which has absolutely no links with govt. The organisers are profit oriented businessmen whose area of focus is 'ENTERTAINMENT' and showbiz. It's not up to you to tell these private businessmen what to do with their money.
Entertainment, sports and showbiz are all multibillion dollar industries which are separate from the education industry. I struggle to see the wisdom in you audaciously expecting showbiz entrepreneurs to invest their money in education.
aikyg: Meanwhile, the best graduating student at UNN got what again? Five thousand abi na five hundred naira. Stuubid kwantry!
Aren't you a part of the people making up the stewpid kwantry? If you're as smart as you may think, why dont you award the UNN best student with millions yourself? You want to tell other private individuals what to do with their money?
walkbrazil4k: If you read my previous write-up, I talked about visiting the Brazilian presidential Palace and it was an awesome experience for me and one thing I noticed is the freedom. We have a bus stop near the presidential Palace as you can see in the picture below, I don't think this can happen in my country, the presidential Palace in my country is a no-go zone.
What are African leaders always scared of?
In Brazil, people go to the presidential Palace to take pictures and you won't find one military checkpoint or fierce-looking soldiers, why is Africa always different?
When I was making the video the military guy walked up to me and politely and calmly told me to go to the part where i can take pictures from because I was making the video close to the road, if it was in Africa a fierce-looking military man might even beat you
This are part of the reasons why I love Brazil because of the freedom we enjoy here
Did you say "might"? THe truth is that you will definitely be beaten blue-black if you try it in Nigeria. I remember a case of a student who took a photo of the official car of a governor when oga governor visited his school. The lad received several dirty slaps from an overzealous security operative and his camera confiscated. Nigeria is ruled by barbaric senseless beasts!
Lol... Naval Base in Kano state, with no river; meanwhile several coastal states have no Naval presence. The Nigerian government never fails to amaze...
Hopefully someone here would be able to explain this aberration.
Generalwoodz: When next you Lodge in any hotel and you suspect there maybe a hidden camera, kindly bring out your smart phone. On the camera and gradually take it around the room as if you are video covering. If there's any hidden camera, a red light will be shown on screen of your phone.
Oga what's the logic behind this? Have you tried it before and seen it work?
Hmmm... this is weird cos for all my time in the UK, I've only met just 3 South Africans... Cant count the number of Congolese, Cameroonians and even Zimbabweans I meet everyday.
So where exactly are these 118,000 SA women and their behinds hiding?
The CBN and Nigerian government seem to be playing the ostrich. Due to sheer incompetence garnished with corruption, greed and wickedness, the Naira is now as useless as [b]used/b] toilet paper. Instead of the clowns to come up with ways to strengthen the Naira, they're busy chasing AbokiFX for simply publishing the shameful exchange rates.
Which kind of poverty riddled reasoning is this all over this thread? SO people who have money basically no longer have the right to lament the ills of government? Did she send her children abroad with public funds?
Nfchi73: Is not the same Aisha that's critising the top government officials of sending their children school abroad? Now the son just graduated from a school in London. Na wa ooo
chiiraq802: You don see am naaaa.... We ain't got any activist in this Country. all of them just dey make noise to find favor and monetary gain. In fact some of them would even do worst if they're to hold a political office in Nigeria.
Racoon: Not in any way differen.Aisha why is your son schooling abroad when you're always criticising the government back home? Remove the beam in your eyes first madam.I am disappointed.
So because she has the money to send her children abroad, she no longer has a right to speak up or lament the ills in her country?
Despite her wealth, she still stands under the sun at every opportunity with ordinary Nigerians, daring police and military bullets to protest against useless governments; but somehow this angers you guys because you found out she has money? What crime did she commit by being wealthy? Did she send her children abroad with public funds? Or you guys are basically saying only poor people have a right to criticise government, is that it?
If this isnt POVERTY MENTALITY speaking here, then I wonder what it really is.
PIMPAR: Sit at home on Monday. Sit at home on Tuesday. Are IPoB these lazy and jobless?
You are nothing but shameless entity
THe guy you quoted is probably just a lazy jobless fellow who wants to drag everyone down to his level. No reasonable enterprising human would be happy to sit idly at home on Monday and Tuesday.
Ikwerelastborn: Shut up, are SE people complaining? The sit at home remains
That local food vendor woman who's probably struggling to make ends meet, I'm sure she must be extremely pleased by her wares being destroyed by overzealous idiots. Afterall she's not complaining.
