Wrong - God CAN do whatsoever he pleases with the heart, and that includes leaving the heart to make it's own decision. You need to realise that contrary to popular atheist, new birth (salvation), the result of Christs birth, death and ressurection has an evidece. What makes one a Christian is not family he was born in but an inward knowledge of regeneration. So yes, a born again Christian, by virtue of inward knowledge of regeneration also KNOWS that the Truth he has professed by mouth (not story) is not false but also a reality.
