Foreign AffairsRe: An Iraqi Throws A Shoe At President Bush by OBVIOUS(m): 1:59pm On Dec 15, 2008
Can someone agree with me that anybody who tries to link Saddam Hussein or Iraq with the September 11, 2001 attacks, is an infinite slowpoke
?

I concur!!
Foreign AffairsRe: An Iraqi Throws A Shoe At President Bush by OBVIOUS(m): 1:48pm On Dec 15, 2008
Bush was not diplomatic in his policies. He was a "dictator" just like Saddam.

To some comments I've read, I don't know what 9/11 has to do with Saddam. Taliban and Osama are on thier own and have little to nothing to do with Saddam. In fact, Bush will be more justified invading Afghanistan than invading Iraq.

But NOO, oil was oinking him in his eyes, contracts were teasing Halliburton, and Cheney didn't know how to pay for his heart surgery, LMAO.

RomanceRe: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by OBVIOUS(m): 8:26pm On Dec 14, 2008
@ Adam Brody, what if you and ur wife get divorced, are you implying that no one else would marrry her because she is a used and expired bermuda triangle.

There is a false emphasis on virginity in marriage. and virgin or no virgin, marriages are much more than that and there are people who get divorced and get married again and live happily ever after. If the value of a woman to a man is based on whether or not she is a virgin, then that man is not meant to be with any woman.

jibbygirl:
virginity is a thing of pride for any woman. so if a guy says he aren't marrying u because u are a V then that's his great loss.
Yes, Nigerian culture teaches one that virginity is a thing of pride for any woman. Doesn't mean that being a virgin makes a woman happy in her marriage. There has to be other factors other than virginity that a woman should be able to offer.

What if both partners are virgins ? get divorced ? does this mean that no one would marry the woman because her previous partner has banged the sh#$#t out of her.

Virgin or no virgin, spiritual and sexual compatibility matters a lot

I'm sure Mugagbe would leave of someone other than Tsangerai came forward.

I agree with what someone else said. Tsangerai is a toothless lion. He'll sell Zimbabwe to the Europeans.

PoliticsRe: Is Sharia The Cause Of Under-Development In The North? by OBVIOUS(m): 3:31am On Dec 14, 2008
namun:
is sharia the cause of underdevelopment in the northhuh
most states that have adopted sharia are underdeveloped and poverty ridden. it is so terrible that northern governors have to CRY out what a shame??
Sharia is not the problem. Northern leaders also exploit their own people at the expense of their illiteracy. Tell the  northern governors to return the money that they have stolen and maybe they won't have to CRY. LMAO.what a joke.
PoliticsRe: Is Sharia The Cause Of Under-Development In The North? by OBVIOUS(m): 3:29am On Dec 14, 2008
Sharia is definately not the cause. The Northern community for soo long has been set up in a way that there is no middle class. There is a vast and drastic gap between the rich and the poor and there is hardly any middle class in the North. The rich are extremely rich and the poor and extremely poor. The rich help each other, and the poor just look at the rich enjoy the best, But I think that in the North, religion brings people together than its impact in the South. But I agree with most on here, EDUCATION is the cause of the problem and not Sharia laws. In fact in the North, religion is more valued than education.

PoliticsRe: Lagos: Opulence In The Midst Of Poverty (NYTimes) by OBVIOUS(m): 7:21pm On Dec 09, 2008
@ game_rod

Of course not and I don't intend to argue with you. I think that even if you tell someone (an African) that America is not

the safe haven it claims to be or that there are just as many homeless and poor people,  They won't believe you. In

fact, they will view you as someone who is trying to prevent them from coming or getting to the "promised land."  Mind

you, don't forget that the media  (movies, the news, and documentaries) plays an extremely strong part in how people

view these two places. America/Europe is always viewed in a positive light, as the "safe haven" and "promised land"

while Africa, or Nigeria is this case is normally viewed as "animalistic" "poor" disease infested" and just bad,  Mind you,

most of the people who made their wealth would never have done so without the resources taken from Africa whether

its oil, diamond, gold, and such, Rockefeller, Marc rich and co,  the list is endless.  But we should also not forget that a

huge chunk of this negativity also comes from and is normally supported by Africans themselves,

Nigerians and unnecessary competition. Wonders shall never end.

There are people in Nigeria who don't have food to eat and u're here wondering on how to compete with your friends for a big wedding. If you can't afford it, you can't.  Like chika98 said, are you 8 ?
PoliticsRe: Lagos: Opulence In The Midst Of Poverty (NYTimes) by OBVIOUS(m): 6:48pm On Dec 09, 2008
As long as the structure of capitalism exists, there will always be a gapping hole between the rich and the poor.

Christianity EtcRe: Is There Still Anything Called Indecent Dressing? by OBVIOUS(m): 5:54pm On Dec 08, 2008
There is such a thing as decent and indecent dressing. My problem with the notion of indecent dressing lies in the fact that its normally women that are harrassed and questioned regarding what they choose to wear and I don't think thats right or fair.

There are some men that dress indecently as well (e.g. men who don't or "forget" to zip up thier trousers or men who wear trousers soo tight that you see thier "tom tom" bulging out to the extent that you can tell the size of thier "tom-tom" or those who don't wear underwear beneath thier shortnicker, Now thats indecent.

The notion or critique of indecent dressing should not only be restricted or limited to women.
