All irrelevant things fade out eventually, and religion is one of those things. As science continues to answer unanswered questions, we also must create and follow that trend by creating a powerful unified community of non-religious persons in Nigeria. In other words, create our own community so that people will stop pretending they are religious while deep down in their heart, they don't believe it.
We can do it...but the problem is, are we ready to do it?

God did not want humans to have knowledge of good and evil but just think what that would have led to. Without this knowledge, anything would be acceptable. Genocide, rape, child molestation: what's wrong with these things? That would be our world if we didn't understand the difference between good and evil.
Satan was a rebellious angel but he was rebellious for good reason. He understood how evil God was and wanted to make a better world. Satan helped humans to understand the difference between good and evil but God's wicked response was to curse all of Adam's descendants for ever, and make their lives short and painful.
God killed tens of millions of humans and animals in temper tantrums; Satan killed only ten individuals and these were killed as a bet with God and with God's permission. And remember, God, not Satan, invented and created hell, the most terrible place of torture ever devised.
It's true that the Bible says bad things about Satan. It says he is a liar and tempts people to do evil but, if God is the bad guy who inspired the Bible, what would you expect him to say about the good guy? Perhaps we should add character assassination to God's long list of crimes?
God made many mistakes but he got one thing right, he managed to fool over two billion Christians into thinking Satan is the bad guy when the bad guy was always God.

Questions like who created God?What was God doing before the universe was created? Etc cannot be applied to an entity that brought time itself into existence. And because of our contraints of reference we cannot even begin to think of the right types of questions to ask.

I've noticed a new Christian apologetic emerging in recent years. All religions insist they have found the truth, despite the fact there are hundreds of religions and thousands of denominations preaching contradictory beliefs. This made me wonder, if religions were REALLY concerned about finding the truth, how would we expect them to behave?
I wouldn't expect to see religious or inter-denominational wars, such as we have seen between Shia and Sunni Muslims, Catholics and Protestants and between Muslims and Hindus. Obviously, you don't find who has the truth by killing those who have different opinions.
Instead, I would expect to see multi-faith working groups in centres of higher learning all over the world, working round the clock, sifting evidence, setting up archaeological expeditions and carrying out research. I would expect these centers of excellence to have ruled out most religions and denominations by now and be working hard to pare down the remaining short-list of religions.
Finally, I would not expect religions to cling to dogma that cannot be changed; rather I would expect religions readily to change their beliefs as new evidence is uncovered.
But in the real world, we do see killing, we do see rigid dogma and we do not see serious attempts to rule out false religions by mutual consent. Why not?
Because, religions are NOT about truth. Truth is not in the least relevant to religions. That is why religions rely on faith and eschew evidence; that is why they rely on indoctrination of children and not on open-minded inquiry.
Religions are not about finding truth--they are about defending lies.
