I am not surprise about Tinubu appointing corrupt people and bribing those who can expose his corrupt past into his government. Example is Nuhu Ribadu, who alleged Tinubu to be one of the most corrupt governors in Nigeria during hid tenure as EFCC chairman, he is now in his government. The irony now is that the most vocal section of Nigerians have suddenly becomes deaf and dumbs watching the abnormalizes as they unfold. The only solace in my own opinion is that the vast majority of both the hailers and the wailers are all affected. |
What we practice in Nigeria is plutocracy and not democracy, if our president can forge a Chicago State University and use to contest election and win; and the supreme court of our country doesn't see anything bad in that, why should any Nigerian be charged or suspended for certificate for forgery? God for us all, but individual for themselves. We are leaving in a world full of contractions; hence the surge in criminal activities. |
Religion is very contradictory; why will you want to stay in a sinful and unpleasant place for a longer period? |
Is it right that a forger of certificate will be allowed by the highest court in the land to continue staying in the office base on the technicalities of the law? From 1999 till date, the forger has being using his stupendous wealth, whose source is unverifiable to gag the courts. His paid professional hailers never sees anything bad in his conduct, no matter what. I hope that this would be brought to an end once and forever this time around. |
Agbero collecting money from transport owners for passengers he did not source for in the first place; sometimes beating the bus conductor to a stupor. Though the agberos have the government backing, and their commander-in-chief is now the president of a country in one of the West African nations. |
If native doctors charms, or juju is powerless, why are people always afraid of native doctors charms, or juju? If a Bible, or Koran is berried in similar circumstances by a renown pastor or imam, will it generate the same comment? Hypocrisy everywhere. |
How can the citizens believe in leaders who forged certificate, lies and circumvent the laws of the land to get elected into political offices. The minister should think about this. |
If this news is true, i am not surprise at all. After all, our president forged a CSU certificate and he is the president now with the f. Criminals have more honours in this country than the law abiding. |
Nigeria is in trouble with the type of government APC is running since 2015. I told a friend if mine that anything can happen in Nigeria presently because the descendant of trouble shooters when ever election doesn't favour them are now in power; therefore, nobody or group is going to make trouble again now that they are power, because trouble they have been making all along is not because of bad governance, but because of hatred for the person in power is not from their geo-political zone. Is there any government that has performed worse in the history of Nigeria than what we are witnessing today under Tinibu's led administration? Yet, all of them kept quiet as if they are hypnotized. My only solace, of course, is that we are all enjoying it together irrespective of tribe. |
If as a country we continue to be divided along negative technicalities as some times seen in the judiciary, i am afraid and make bold to say that we are not ready for positive changes. If we continue to use negative technicalities over positivity, then we do not have moral justification to blame those who engage in negativity or fraudulent activities to achieve their goal. Anybody who by means of fraud succeeded in achieving his or her goal, either individually or collectively should be punished so as to serve as a deterrent to others and his likes. |
It seems that as a nation, we have collectively resolved to allow corruption to co-exist with us. if not, how can a president of our country forged a certificate and tendered it as original to INEC which enable him to become the president of our country and some people are defending and praising him? Group think and sentiment is our bane, and if we do not collectively condemn and forsake it; we have no moral justification to condemn any one or group engaging in it. |
This is clear demonstration that some members of the judiciary cannot be bought with money, or intimidated by the powers of darkness. Congratulations to Natasha, and all the people of Kogi Central who stands by the truth, fair play and justice. Truly Ebira, lives and stand by her name: Good character. Fraudulent politicians should be flushed out of Nigeria political system. Once more, congratulations Mrs. Natasha Akpoti- Uduagan, Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing the good people of Kogi Central. |
Most times, when i hear the utterances of some notable Nigerians who one should have ordinarily accorded respect because of their personal achievement, not prior knowing that such achievement was acquired through fraudulent practices, one becomes disappointed and emotionally downcast. What moral standard are these type of personalities setting for the coming generations? To me, such personalities are not better than the yahoo, yahoo boys the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is chasing all over the country. So, when politicians are using fraudulent ways to acquire political power, what do you want the youths to do? Remember the adage of " if you cant beat them, you join them". If the present occupiers of the Seat of government uses deceitful tactic, deceiving Nigerians that fuel subsidy was a scam in 2012; knowing the truth and not saying it simply because they want to acquire political power at all cost, then we are living in a sorry state. When a leader is fraudulent, what do you expect from his followers? That is where Nigeria find herself presently. |
How can a Christian preacher whose main working day is on Sundays be asking people not to go work on Sundays? In my own opinion, it is own way of advertising his/her means of livelihood so as to attract people to come and contribute money and other worldly materials for the growth of their mission. If you don't have money and connections, you have to outwork everyone; else you will suffer. |
Congratulations for working hard for the achievement. Remain blessed. |
This is the best football news i have heard within the past two years. Congratulation Mason Greenwood; go and sin no more. |
Birds of the same feather flocks together. The grandfathers of criminality are having a good time in Nigeria's highest office. Criminality will not end where plutocracy instead of democracy is practiced. Fellow compatriots, lets have a change of heart. |
What kind of freedom does he think he can get in a place he referred to as zoo. He is now in the zoo, and should be ready to be devoured by the uncaged lions, or other dangerous animals. Yeye de smell. |
The entire world has gone hypocritical, if not, how come they are hailing someone who gathered miscreants and selfish individuals to protest against the removal of fuel subsidy under PDP Jonathan's government, now praising the same person for removing the same same subsidy which they claimed was a scam. What an irony. |
In my own opinion, religion is a personal issue and should be discouraged in public places. People are now beginning to see the negative side of religion. |
Before the APC party came into power in 2015, the current president BAT, organized misinformed Nigerians to occupy Nigeria, calling fuel subsidy a scam because they want power at all cost; and the only way they could do that is through political propaganda aimed at bringing the then president GEJ administration down. Then Nigerians were told that there was nothing like fuel subsidy; and called it scam. Eventually, they succeeded in deceiving the gullible majority to vote for them, by promising of changing Nigeria into Eldorado. After eight years of APC administration, they now come without shame and proclaim subsidy removal. Where does the subsidy now come from? When a father engages in lying to his children, it would be an absurdity for the same father to tell his children no to engage in telling lies. Our politicians makes lies, deceitfulness, backstabbing, stealing, and all sorts of immoral acts look profitable, hence the younger ones are joining. Hypocrisy and sentiment will not lead us to any where if we don't change our attitudes. |
The current President elect, and the current President were the ones who makes Nigerians to protest against the then president against the removal of fuel subsidy, calling it scam. If subsidy was a scam then, what subsidy is Buhari going to remove now before handing over to a political criminal who had all along being annihilating all opposing voices while scheming his way to the presidency. Hypocrisy is the worst form of corruption. I say no to subsidy removal, because it is a scam. |
This story is too sweet to be true. Anyway, we now live in a world of uncertainty. |
Like COVID-19 pandemic disease, it is gratifying to note that Kogi State is not listed among the highly indebted states. |
This is a commercial language; as long as those patronizing the center understand it, it doesn't matter anymore. After all, it is not an English language examination paper. |
When you are dead, that is the end; no heaven or hell anywhere else. The idea of heaven and hell is to curtail the negative aspect and excesses of humans who invented heaven and hell. If their is heaven or hell, in which continent are they located? Anyway, that's not to say that we should not be kind to one another. Do to others as you will like others to do to you. If you cannot help someone, do not contribute to his problems; as simple as that. |
I will not advise you not to be nice to people, however, do what you know will not harm you afterward; because human beings are very cunning. |
Some politicians and religious leaders are the problems of the world; they are hypocrites who say one thing and do the other when money is involved. Since there followers are copying them, that means more problems for the society. |
Nigeria, and indeed most of African countries are hypocrites. The law makers are the worst enemies of individual country and the continent in general. How can we proclaimed to be a secular nation and yet we flagrantly introduce foisted and foreign religions that is gradually destroying our peaceful co-existence into various levels of governance because of foreign influence? It is high time we separate religion from governance at all levels, so that criminal minded elements among us will henceforth stop masquerading as adherents of any religion to terrorize those who don't belief in their religion. |
At times, i don't really like joining issues with people whose religion is established through blasphemy killing people because of the same blasphemy. Some criminals masquerading as adherents of foisted religions on Africans through blaspheming of our indigenous African religions are killing their fellow Africans because of the same religion that enslave some of their ancestors; what an irony. |
In the time past, i always thought that Ibos are hardworking and intelligent people; however, recent events regarding IPOB & ESN has proved otherwise. Perhaps, because of fear, Ibos will support any negative and destructive action taken by their fellow Ibo man regardless the consequences. What they should understand is that if Biafra becomes an autonomous country today, there will still be division among Ibos. If you cannot live peacefully among others' except when money is involved, i am afraid if you will be able to live peacefully among yourselves if granted autonomy. Who is killing who in the South East of Nigeria? It's the same Ibo people. You people are setting yourselves on self destruction, nothing more. A word is enough for the wise. |
This is because our government here in Nigeria is not serious, let them go to Ghana, and don't allow their products to be smuggled into the country; lets see who will suffer. |
