So this man mean Jonathan is too straight forward that is why pdp is losing ground? |
Olaolufred:I noticed the insult in your response, I will not come to your level. That is why people like you should take time to study so you can discuss issues based on facts instead of insults. Find below links to the fact that Buhari's regime applied for full membership of OIC. take time off and study the links. I have reproduced some parts for you. ' Although Babangida took the rap for Nigeria's sneaky upgrade to full membership of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), according to a study on Nigeria funded by the US Defense Department in the early 1990s, it was actually Buhari who without any regard whatsoever for the sensibilities of Nigerians of other faiths, submitted the application to upgrade Nigeria's membership from the observer status it had enjoyed since the Gowon regime to full membership. The OIC's review of the application was concluded after Babangida's palace coup. Rather than reverse Buhari's action, Babangida quietly allowed Nigeria's new status as a full-fledged member of the OIC to stand. Buhari's OIC action exposed him as a religious zealot, who will have no qualms in rousing and ginning up Sharia issues, quiescent for several years now, following its aggressive unveiling in Zamfara, where Buba Bello Jangebe's wrist was amputated for stealing a cow, and Safiya Husseini was sentenced to die by stoning for adultery while her co-participant in the act was not prosecuted because he was male.' http://nigeriaworld.com/articles/2010/dec/171.html even this have been discussed on this forum previously. Go through the below link and educate yourself on the evil nature of your buhari https://www.nairaland.com/624604/explosive-buhari-nigeria-organization-islamic |
laimo:Can you post the Google link that says Babangida submitted the application for Nigeria's full membership of the OIC |
Avedon:You call a request for proof of qualification for the office of president childish. What type of job do you really think a school certificate can really fetch you in today's world? It can not even make you a cashier at the local bank, yet we have allowed it for the highest political office in the land. They watered down the requirement for political office just to accommodate the north yet they are finding it difficult to meet even the watered down requirement. |
Olaolufred:So how does what you posted different from what I wrote. Buhari applied for Nigeria to be changed from observer at the OIC to full membership in 1985, the application was reviewed and accepted in 1986. By then Buhari had already been overthrown. So who has more blame in getting Nigeria into the IOC? To me Buhari who submitted the application in 1985 has more blame than Babangida who did not reject the elevation in 1986. |
They can vote whoever they like, that is the essence of democracy, just that every one should be ready to live with the consequences of their vote. The last time Buhari tasted power, he quickly submitted application for Nigeria to become a full member of the international Islamic organisation. That application was reviewed and accepted after he has been overthrown by Babangida, hence Babangida took the rap for not rejecting the admission into the IOC. This time who knows what Buhari has up his sleeve? |
If only Obasanjo had stopped the introduction of Sharia in the North during his tenure, terrorists would not have been emboldened to trample on our rights today. The problems we are facing today is an accumulation of years of misrule with Obasanjo alone accounting for 11 years of the misrule. |
5000 naira for 25 million people equals 1.5 trillion naira per year. That is about 1/3 of the annual budget. This is what buhari is promising to give to his Almajiris on the street. Where is Buhari going to get an extra 33% of the budget to give to the poor almajiri on the street when oil prices are falling and it might be very difficult to even balance the current budget. |
Op, hope you are normal, why are you using the bible to support your jihadist. Why will I, as a graduate, listen to someone without even school certificate. Guy, there are great and accomplished men in Nigeria, Buhari is not one of them, so I can't listen to Buhari. |
I have made some mistakes in agriculture. I once planted maize with a Spacing of 1m by 0.5m hoping to add fertiliser to the farm. I could not get fertiliser to buy from the state govt after planting. I had to thin down by uprooting some of the plants to reduce the density. Today I rely less on government inputs I once rented a farm for farming without inquiring if there are farmers vs cattle herders problem in the area. Few weeks after we started the farm, problem started between farmers and the fulani people. Who would have thought that fulani can be a problem to farmers in delta state. They were actually taking guns to the farm looking for farmers to kill. We had to abandon the farm for some time. And after planting fulani started using my crops to feed his cows. Very pathetic. Today as a minimum I must fence my farm with barbed wires if fulani is within the vicinity. And I always ask now if our brothers who love cattle more than human life is within the vicinity before planting anything |
We know why he is called Lie Mohammed. When someone has Lie as a name, nothing to prevent such a person from lying |
ok, we get the coded message. Oya constitutional laywers, commence the law suit to prevent the Illiterate Buhari from being on the ballot. But this one that the source is your personal blog ![]() |
Buhari should be disqualified if he doesn't meet the criteria set for the office he his vying for. We should at least pretend to respect the constitution to some extent. |
brutef0rce101:Sambo presented his school certificate. What he did not present is his First degree and masters degree certificates. What is required by law is school certificate and Sambo has met that requirement. Honestly in this day and age I really don't understand why a political party will bring forward a semi literate man as it's presidential candidate when there are millions of educated people to choose from. |
berem:Sorry. You were actively searching for the part where they started insulting Jonathan. Sister, that will not happen. Those interviewed are leaders in their own rights. They know the challenges that come with leadership and will not criticise Jonathan destructively as you would have hoped. |
ALAYORMII:You are trying to be clever by half. Why did you not put Adunni in your title. And how is Adunni dying become breaking news? You need to get a life. This is a new year. Stop leading people on . better now that you have changed the title. |
Op. This is a new year. You need to reformat your brain. |
I think the message is clear enough now. Nigeria army is not a conscript force. You join voluntarily, if you can not obey military orders, don't join. If you are already in and know you can not obey orders, you better resign now. |
The guy most have thought that Kenya is Nigeria. Chai they should not start this in nigeria else many APC e-rats will spend their useful life in jail. |
They refused a direct order, as a consequence their weapons and uniforms were taken from them and they were ordered to stay in the barrack in maiduguri, they disobeyed the order and travel out of maiduguri without permission. What were they expecting from the series of disobedience to direct orders? A pat in the back? Even in boyscout there is punishment for disobedience. |
These Arabs don't know how to play world politics, they could have easily got a yes vote from Nigeria if they they did the right thing long ago. What has been the stand of the arabs as regards the problem of Islamic militants in Nigeria all this while? They stayed quiet when their Islamic foot soldiers were bombing and kidnapping our children and destroying our schools. Nigeria simply chose to stay quiet on their affair also. All Arab countries are striving to build schools that teach western education in their countries while their foot soldiers are killing and kidnapping students in Nigeria. A call to order from the Arab world to their foot soldiers would have made Nigeria to know they mean well for us. You can not stay indifferent about nigeria's problems and expect Nigeria to be involved in your problem. |
Gbenga, there is no need starting a legal challenge against anyone. You have your business to build, concentrate on that and forget trouble. If you have disagreement on this forum with anyone, try to clarify your stand for everyone to see the truth and move on. my simple advice. By the way I am still waiting for the plantain proposal from you. |
barcanista:You seem to have a lot of wishful thinking about Buhari. I witnessed Buhari's rule in 1984 to 1985 and I have reviewed some of his actions both as minister of petroleum in the 70s and as PTF chairman in the 90s Believe me Buhari does not have the competence to lead a progressive Nigeria. I will give you some examples. Buhari pushed for the establishment of the kaduna refinery based on an imported feedstock of crude oil from Venezuela. He made 3 blunders in the establishment of the Kaduna refinery. First the request was based on northern interest just because a refinery was being built in Warri. Sound national decision should not have regional coloration. 2. In setting up the kaduna refinery he agreed to exchange Nigeria's bonny light crude oil with Venezuela ' heavy crude barrel for barrel. That decision cost nigeria billions of dollars and we are still paying for that stupidity up till today. Because nigeria' s bonny light is more expensive than the heavy venezuela crude, so 1 to 1 exchange is cheating to Nigeria. 3.By citing a refinery whose feedstock is heavy crude 700km from the coast in kaduna you actually pay a lot more for pumping the crude. It would have been better to site the warri refinery in kaduna and site the kaduna refinery in warri. From the above you will see that Buhari's lack of economic competence has been exhibited since the seventies. A lot has been written about his missteps in the 80's cancelling the lagos metroline project and forcing factories to go under, I will not want to repeat them. He was very sectional at PTF. Even accepting to serve at PTF was a sectional decision because PTF was set up by Abacha to counter Ompadec which was seen as a southern organisation. And Buhari performed as designed at PTF, concentrating majority of the projects up north. So in Buhari you will get a president who will make stupid economic decisions due to incompetence and someone whose decisions will always have some ethnic and regional coloration. We really don't need the type of leadership that Buhari will bring at this point of Nigeria's development. |
chamboy:Do you know since when there has been power shortage on Nigeria? From 1914 when nigeria was created we have never had adequate power. Do you think Jonathan can really solve the power problem in 4 yrs? We should evaluate the progress being made and criticise constructively |
barcanista:Read my edited post above |
barcanista:Because he does not have what it takes to lead a 21st century nation aspiring for greatness. You know that right? By 2050 nigeria will have a population of 400 million. We have to create wealth now for the future generation otherwise there will be crisis in the country. Nigeria leader needs to know the relationship between wealth and social harmony, it will be impossible to get buhari to comprehend that. |
Buhari also won in 2011 on NL. It simply shows that Buhari supporters are fewer, but very vocal. Which Jonathan supporter wants to come online to support Jonathan and receive insults from Buhari supporters? Some will even ask you why Jonathan has not solved all the problems facing Nigeria in the last 50 yrs of independence as if Nigeria became a nation in 2011. |
sufido123:I like your stand on freedom of speech. Please post your picture online and your locality. I want to exercise my freedom of speech by calling on all criminals in your neighbourhood to shoot you in the leg at the earliest opportunity. In a democracy, where your rights stops is where someone rights start. Politicians making inciting comments has been the cause of several deaths previously, ending the right to life of the innocent victims. so not even your beloved Amaechi should have the freedom to make inciting speeches |
APC e-rats are just bombarding us daily with lies. They are trying to sell a very sectional Buhari to us as some nationalist overnight. While I believe children should be allowed to marry from whichever tribe they find love, no one should come online to lie to us that Buhari is a non tribalised Nigerian, who sourced for Ibo husbands for his daughters. Just tell the truth about your candidate let Nigerians make a choice based on the truth. The truth I know about Buhari today is that Buhari is a very sectional leader. He lead a delegation to then governor of oyo state to demand why fulani herdsmen were being killed, whereas it was the herdsmen that were killing the yoruba locals, recently he kicked against the killing of Boko haram members who have been terrorising Nigerians, calling such killing an attack on the North, argueing that Niger delta militants were not killed and as such Boko haram should not be killed. His performance at PTF was the most blatant display of sectional development in Nigerian history, concentrating most PTF projects in the North West. He did not hide his disdain for the South in previous election campaigns, where he mostly limited his campaigns to the north. Fulani herdsmen has been causing havoc all over the country, Buhari has never seen it wise to visit the places where they have caused havoc to show disdain at the wanton destruction his kinsmen are causing for others. Such a person can not be classified as a national leader. An example of a true nationalist can be seen in the action of Mahatma Ghandi, who went on hunger strike to protest the violence that occured when india was divided into india and pakistan at independence in 1947. He even went on hunger strike to force his native nation of India to pay money owed to Pakistan. Can Buhari go on hunger strike to force the government to pay compensation to the multitude of people that are either killed, injured or raped by his fulani normads yearly? or has he even suggested to the government to pay compensation to those killed by his supporters in 2011? Buhari is a sectional leader, no one should try to paint him as a national leader. |
Fear fear general. How is he going to probe people like Tinubu and Saraki who looted their states but are now called progressives . Is it not the same Buhari that said Abacha did not steal any money? I just pity those putting their hopes on a party where the bitter criminals have congregated |
Story for the gods . APC is confirming that Amaechi has paid salary. Is apc the workers who are being owed? |
Let him enjoy his 2 months marriage to Buhari. After losing the election in February he will be go the way of pastor Bakare and proclaim that there is nothing progressive about apc. |
