Lord this my prayer. There is a man who wants to be governor of delta state in 2015, lord do not let it come to pass. The man is the minister of Niger Delta ministry. His name is Orubebe, Lord in your infinite wisdom do not let this man come close to the govt house at Asaba in 2015, otherwise delta will be finished. The only major road project under his ministry is the east west road, that project has been moving at snail speed. If Orubebe had completed the road, our president's in-law would not have died of accident travelling between ph and bayelsa. Lord all our previous governors are either working crooks like Ibori, or non working saints like Ibru. We have never had non working crooks as governors. Orubebe has all the penchant of a non working crook. Give the president and 1st lady the wisdom to understand that this tragedy was directly caused by the ineptitude of his ministers of works and that of the Niger Delta. This we pray today through our lord. Amen |

booqee: First of all, let the DG of nysc drag the ears of oshiomole, and let him improve the condition of the nysc orientation camp in edo state. Infact he should go build a permanent site for nysc camp in dat state. As in ehn, dog sh.it is better dan dat camp. To worsen d case, he's not even paying a dime to corp members, even my ppa as well. Make june 2014 reach quick quick, make i comot for here. I just wan start and d place don already tire me. Edo state no dey try! MtchewwwI can help change you state of assignment to Borno. There is a fine job there. You are already too old so we can't send you to yerima's zamfara |
In other words, The senate did not bar the marriage of Kids So anyone can marry a toddler and the toddler will be deemed of full age bucause she is married. Now what were you saying again that the senate did not approve? |
I was extorted several times by nigeria police at gun point. Never willingly gave any bribe. I dont take bribe willingly, just that some girls find a way of bribing me with what they have in,exchange for my money |
They guy was in jail for seven yrs while innocent, trying to.prove his case. Why will a judge think setting him free pennyless is justice They should at least have awarded hkm some cost for the wrongful incaceration for 7 years |
See that youth in his hat.lmao
He is a youthful old man |
I wish they can post the pictures of the young daughters of all the senators that voted for child marriages so we can choose which of them to marry right away. lets serve them their own pill. For starters, someone should post the picture of Ugbesia's young daughters, I will get a 45 or 50 yrs old man to ask for their hands in marriage. As for Yerima, no one should even think of marrying that ones daughter, only God knows the type of upbringing his children will have. |
They destroyed our past, they are currently destroying us presently with looting and terror. Even the future child, they want to destroy, get them pregnant before they finish primary school. They said they can marry at any age, even in the middle east, the home of islam, their girls go to universities, they don't mortgage their daughters' future to useless child marriages. |
Both CPC and ACN are not being truthful to each other. They are polar opposites, the only thing they have in common is the wish to replace the PDP at the federal level. They are forming a union of light and darkness with the hope of getting as much votes as possible to defeat PDP. The question is, what happens next after the PDP is out of the question and APC is ruling. How will ACN and CPC reconcile their glowing differences. ACN will ask for true federalism, asking for more autonomy to the states, something the North dominated CPC will vehemently kick against since that will reduce the federal revenue going up north. Maybe the CPC is hoping ACN will tone down the wish for true federalism once they have power at the centre. CPC will want to probe and jail past corrupt officers, that will mean jailing ACN leaders, that certainly will not fly with ACN. Maybe ACN are counting on CPC pushing for a selective probe of past leaders, aiming only at the past PDP leaders. That move will largely be regarded as witch hunting of the opposition if CPC tow that line. All in all, APC does not represent any coherent ideology except the desire to be the government at the centre. This is a terrible low for the yorubas pushing for APC, The yorubas have long been known to push for ideological differentiation. But one factor that can not be discounted is that there might be the hidden aim of either the CPC or ACN to outplay the other when they are in power. Whichever factions in the merger gets the presidency can decide to use the instruments of state to crush the opposition including its merging partners and force its ideology on all of them. This seem like the aim of the CPC to me. CPC elements in Government will certainly not allow true federalism and can curry the praise of the masses by exposing the looting of previous ACN leaders and to do that, the CPC will surely ask for the presidency to be zoned to them, something they have already done. |
princesammmy: This man keeps making the headline daily. his enemies don't knw they are making him a hero.Hero over what, is he having crisis because he is fighting for the masses? Is the quarrel about provision of social amenities to the Rivers people? Did Amaechi come up with one progressive policy, which opponents are after him over? For your info, Amaechi is your hero, not mine. Amaechi is fighting is for his pocket, not that of the masses. The fight is over what Amaechi should be in 2015, there are 3 options for him, VP, Senator or just another civilian. How does the masses of Rivers state profit from Amaechi being VP in 2015 or Senator Even if we believe he is only going to the senate in 2015, how does the Rivers masses profit from Amaechi being a Senator in 2015. If Amaechi is clean, being out of public office in 2015 shouldn't have being a very terrible thought to him. He wasn't born into an elective office and he shouldn't die in one. It is the aim to immune himself from future probes that is propelling his overdrive to be in an elective position at all cost after his current tenure, not the love for the masses. So he is far from being the masses' hero. For your info, Amaechi is a Nigerian politician, none among them is a hero, majority if not all of them, are crooks. |
Sweetlemon: I disagree with that belief, most people's off-line personality may not actually be like their on-line personalities but their on-line personalities are a reflection of how they secretly wish their off-line personalities are thus their on-line personalities have a big chance of manifesting in their off-line behaviour sooner or later in life.I think we are both saying the same thing. People may live their fantasies online, but offline, they may not be able to live the way the want to. Just imagine your moniker, sweetlemon, you obviously want to be sweet, but think of the load of people you have broken their heart, will they think of you as being sweet. |
deshclones: What are you on about this guy?...Nothing, I swear, Nothing. But when I see a guy stalking a babe, I just can't stop wondering why |

deshclones:don't take what people say on NL to heart, online personality of many people are different from what they actually are in real life. I was like thinking maybe she rejected your approach, just my thinking sha, if true, try a different approach |
deshclones: she should teach her kids the ways of her people indeed..greatest hypocrite that ever lived...you that lives, breathes and sleeps with tribalism oozing all over you...you that live a life filled with hate, uncouthness, insolence, disrespect and hardcore tribalism is advising someone on how to raise a child...i shudder at the thought of you ever raising a child..rubbish...two faced fellow.see beefing |

Musiwa, Are those the picture of those you have killed? |
Policewoman: CONGRATS. I ALSO GRADUATED FROM UNIVERSITY A VIRGIN. ;Why lie, Say the truth, did you not start from primary school |
Ola Johnson: Police men were at the RSHA when the fighting was going on but kept mute. Now that it is obvious that the power-that-be did not achieve their aim they now want to start witch-hunting. This is what will finally make people take to the street.Bros you can take to the street. Remember what Nigeria police do to those that take to the street. Wear armoured vest and steel helmet before commencing the riot |
Nigeria laws have many loopholes and many court rulings can be interpreted in several ways. if Ameachi leaves pdp for example, pdp can argue that he seizes to be governor because pdp won the election. However atiku left pdp to ac but remained vp in a pdp presidency. If pdp expel Amaechi, pdp can claim he no longer remain the governor while Amaechi can claim other wise. But in that scenario pdp will simply swear another governor, maybe the vice while Amaechi will be roaming from one court to the other trying to regain his mandate. Just that it will be messy and gej is not really the brash type. |
its very safe if you know how to do it. Just charter a Helicopter, fly above the road a just 1000ft, you can travel along the roads you have mentioned in that suspended state anytime of the day or night, No police, Army, Boko haram, militant, robbers, kidnappers or pothole will trouble you. But if you choose to travel on the road in a car in the night, no problem also. Just write your will, call your family together, bid them final farewell and head out on the suicide mission confronting the 7 hazards listed above. And remember to post your last post on NL to bid us final farewell before you commence the journey. |
The guy said the truth, he does not know. The information given to the different parties are the same so why the fuss. |
This pikin, when they told you to propagate delta state information on social media, did they say you should just come to nairaland, dump the post and disappear? You better think of a better way of justifyingyour pay, not this one you are posting here where no one responds to anything you post. For starters, tell them to send you for training |
I like the part on the 20,000 MW of Electricity. Shows that someone has decided to calculate the amount of Electricity we really need to generate. Not the piecemeal NIPP projects |
addicted268: Good.but I think the law should start with the initiator(s) of d fight.I don't understand how u can walk up to someone and start hitting him unprovoked and expect him to not act.not like I support d lloyd of a guy anyway,if he was a gentle man,he should have sought redress in court, rather than attempting to kill his assailant cum colleague with a mace.plus how can he claim self defence after he left the place, then came back with supporters.that's not self defence, that's revenge.he better prays the man doesn't give up d ghost o.You are getting some things wrong sisi. Lloyd did not say the man he almost killed was the one that hit him initially. Lloyd was just on overdrive, hitting anyone within sight. 2. How do you believe a lier. he lied by rushing to the hospital and pretending to be sick after almost killing someone. That should tell you that he can not be trusted, When he tells you someone hit him with a tripod, you better check well, he might just be making up the story. |
Soyinka did not work for IBB, he worked for Nigeria. Setting up the Federal Road Safety commission was a Service to the nation then. They were not carrying guns neither were they taking bribes then. Their effort brought road safety consciousness to Nigerians. Many people gave their services freely then as road Marshals, helping to reduce carnage on the high way He resigned when the govt decided to arm the Road safety officials. Some people requested for the Road safety officials to be armed because some motorists were killing them intentionally instead of obeying them, Soyinka felt if they were armed, they will abuse the new found power. Babangida disagreed so Wole had to quit. And true to Wole's fears, road marchals now see themselves in league with Nigeria police, forcing people on the highway to give them bribe because they now have guns. Disclaimer: Am not a supporter of Wole Soyinka against madam Umbrerra. Just trying to state facts |
nwabobo: Going by the part in bold above, the writer and editor of this article are plain stupid. What do they mean by Chidi Lloyd acted in self defence? Do they know what self defence is. From the video I saw, Chidi Lloyd was the aggressor; grabbing the mace and bashing that guy on the headis attempted murder. If Chidi Lloyd was attacked earlier, he should have sought redress through appropriate channels. The abominable role some media has been playing is quite mind bugling. The stupid piece was all written to paint those pro Amaechi politicians as being victims. Lloyd is not a victim of being targeted by anyone, he is a grown man who chose to club his fellow man unconscious. An animal like that shouldn't be making laws for sane people. |
Reference: But 6 billion just to expand an 'existing plant'? Six billion. Six oh. 1,2,3,4,5,6. BBbbillionnnu. Haba. How much is a ton of steel in the declining international market.6 billion is very big to you,but it not too much to invest in a country with 170million people. The Chinese are not just investing in a company, they are buying a space in Nigeria's steel market in the foreseeable future |
the SS is reaping the fruit of not having leaders. NO one can call this lousy man to order. Wike wants to be governor, Amaechi says no, Wike now decide to run for the senate position, again Amaechi says that position has been reserved for himself to step into when he finishes his tenure as governor. Since when did it become the duty of an incumbent governor to choose who can run for governor and who can run for senate after his tenure. And when those he is preventing from progressing decide to fight back, they claim it the president that is fighting him. |
I think this will just be a waste of money. Why build gas pipeline to the north at all cost when the boys can just easily blow it up at the slightest provocation. 5 Billion USD can easily produce 4000 MW of electricity, that should be a better priority for the nation than building a gas line to the North. |
