In all of this what happens if Binance closes shop one day, will the investment still be redeemable?
Tobex4realTobex234:
USDT should have a better market cap. BUSD is Binance's variation of stablecoin. There's also USDC on Bitstamp.

Naija people. Always hating on others.

Nigerians

I was just listening to a Forbes interview of Cosmos Maduka, the founder of Coscharis Group. He was asked what his worst day in business was. He said he had two worst days in business, as follows.

The first, he was in Lagos and received a phone call that there was commotion at his branch office in the eastern part of the country. He rushed there and found out that all his staff there had disappeared with money they had collected in advance from customers for supplies. He was sued by 53 traders and had to repay all the stolen money.

The second, a friend needed financial assistance to bring a shipment to Nigeria. He then stood as guarantor for the bank loan collected by this friend. Till today, the shipment never arrived. The friend sold off the shipment on the sea and disappeared with the money, leaving Mr Maduka with N21 billion in debt, producing interest of N300 million monthly. He had to sell of his entire majority shareholding in one the major banks in order to pay it off.

Nigerians. Why are we so wicked and corrupt?

What's the difference between USDT and BUSD?

richforever123:
Why not convert to USDT or BUSD via Binance P2P and then transfer it to a Wallet like Trust Wallet or Exodus

Does Binance do US stocks now? Do you know?
condomuser:
I mentioned a way you can comfortably earn 5 percent annual interest on USD investment while sitting comfortably in Nigeria without any hassle but a bull dog here attacked and started saying I should find Church members, the same bull dog actually took my advice and opened acc with the company Binance.
It is very simple, Binance turn over at least $500m per day in crypto trading, you won't be trading crypto, you only buy the stable currency BUSD in the equivalent of N50,000 ie $100/BUSD or as much as you want via P2P and on their platform you move it to Fixed savings interest account which is accessible 24/7.

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojesymsym: 9:34am On May 27, 2021
I don't think so. A normal setup with this his kind of requirement will require hundreds of batteries, but with this model, he can use two even low capacity batteries just to power the inverter that will give the main inverter its reference voltage.

olopan:
True about the simple battery inverter,

But that will require a system of special inverters like victron, SMA to form a mini-grid that the inverters will then feed into to supply loads.

IMO I think it defeats the idea of the Op running away from battery all together.
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojesymsym:
Very nice submission. I wanted to reply earlier but I forgot the Grid tie name and I also could not see my diagram for referencing.

As for the bolded, one workaround is to use another simple battery inverter to play the role of the grid for synchronization.
olopan:
Hi

1. How it works is that you are expected to have a steady power supply, then a Grid-tie inverter of say 20KWp or more is installed, the sun comes up and the inverter synchronise with the grid and supplies your loads, the higher your solar production is the lower the grid supplies you and the process is vice versa.
In short at the end of the day your utility bill will reduce.

But

Grid is not steady here, the closest option is an hybrid invester that can work without battery but because your load is high this method will fail without a small sized battery to it or a steady grid supply that will do as stated above.

2. Grid-tie inverter etc. Fronius, SMA, Growatt, Good we, Huawei

Hybrid inverter with independent battery operation
Axpert VM III Variants, Growatt SPH, Phocus etc

3. lipsrsealed better moni .... Plenty one

Why do I have this feeling that you are employee B?
But everything you said here is opt. We see it everyday where people squander their resources and even goodwill, then turn around to start getting bitter.

You see that story of prodigal son in the bible eh.... I stand with the first son in the way he reacted. You eat your cake and somehow want to have it back. Mbanu... let us live with the consequences of our action abeg.

Two employees were in this same position you describe

Employee A sold off his uncompleted building and squandered the money and later proceeded to his pension fund. As at the time, Uber was just coming out and I asked him to invest in it so as to be able to have cash to meet his needs. His currently in his home town as a farmer. This was someone that worked in one of the big 4's

Employee B didn't earn or have as A had but was able to invest and was compounding it for 5 yrs, today he has a landed property and we'll invested.

It will be a crime against humanity if oga Emma does not at the minimum write a book that is targeted on Nigerian situation. Most books you find are either foreign ones or paraphrased from foreign scenarios.
You can't read a book about real estate in Nigeria and start talking about mortgage and foreclosure for example... there are not reflective of the Nigerian situation. A Nigerian book on real estate for example must talk about things like deve levy, community fee, touts etc.

Is transparency enough??
Sometimes when you are transparent and people see the amount, they begin to salivate and imagine various things they could do if only they lay hands on that money, just like in the prodigal son's story. They will demand their share, it is the way I hear some guys complain about their pension funds, after they finish the money in the hands, once they see the amount building in their pension funds, they still devising ways to have access to it to also spend it asap.

How do you manage this part?

Most siblings when I know go de suspicious and start looking for loopholes for them to request that all properties are sold and money shared.
It is hard to believe all 20 grandchildren are financially educated as you are. In the experience of a lot of people with this kind of asset, the call be sharing all money realized from it will be so loud that one can get frustrated and just share for peace to reign. So how do you man manage the othershuh

Americans and Singapore and other first world countries have a productivity and greatness mindset. So they always strive to get better in all that they do.

This is not about prayers at all. As a matter of fact, your second statement is what I am talking about. Why una like to de curse una country like this? They say words have power. Imagine about 100 million people saying their country will never get better and they do it more than once a day, nature will just mark that country as one that says it will not get better.

This your analysis be like say e get k-leg.
You compare bitcoin (just one product) with a whole market (NSE), why not compare the whole crypto market with the NSE.
Or you compare bitcoin which is the shinning light of the crypto market with a shinny light of the NSE instead of this apple for oranges comparism you just did so that we can all learn.
jedisco:
On the NSE, without sounding sour, I've looked at it over and over again and avoided bias but I can't seem to answer the 4 questions above

1. Is the market trending upward? Do I have that needed insurance?

2. Is it a robust market with a clear tradable pattern where there are periods that portend good buying opportunities, ranging and good rallies to take profits?

3. Looking back, is there a tradeable pattern to make money in the NSE yearly, 2yrly e.t.c?

That after 13 years the NSE all share index has not been able to match the high it created during it's only bullrun in 2008 is quite concerning and says alot about the strength of the market...
Contrary to some opinion, bullruns are part of any strong markets as they represent human greed.... The ability of the market to keep trending after a parabolic top and correction shows strength... We can see that with both the dotcom, 2008 and covid crash of the US stock market... The market came back stronger..... That's what makes the average Joe invest in a market

Until the NSE matches its 2008 high at least (which means current stock prices almost doubling), it technically remains in a downtrend.... Understanding that shows you what it means for a marjet currently valued at over 1 trillion dollars to create new highs 4yrly

Regarding crypt0, I'm not so worried... Bitc0in has created new highs every 4 years. Strong markets don't need advertisement... The masses will keep trooping in until it enters a confimed bear correction.

These international press and agencies never report the good things people do, they just look for a weak point or loophole and blow it out of proportion. The BBC report should have been how a woman burnt up a child and not how a man slapped a wicked woman. Nonsense.
