Business / Re: Which Legit Business To Start With 50,000 Naira. by Oktane: 10:58pm On Feb 20, 2019 |
My recommendation for such small amounts as capital is usually to take the path of least resistance. Your best bet in this economy (especially as a new investor and where your life savings is 50k) is trading. Adopt the daily sales model. Build your trading company from scratch. Take very calculated risk but grow your capital bit by bit making small bilut very consistent profit. If you are not a shy person and can work really hard I can guide you REMOTELY into how to turn your 50,000 into 200,000 before the end of the year. You would have to learn to embrace and befriend all the Mallam kiosk operators/ small provision shops in your neighbourhood for they hold the key. This works better for those residing in very high density areas especially in Lagos. Then you would start with only about 10k just to test the waters then increase your investment or capital injection in geometric proportions. Pls note that it will involve a lot of hard work in the beginning but the model never fails. I can assure you that in 30 days your capital will transform from 50k to at least 75k. Let me know if this interests you. 1 Like |

omoayeni1: Wow, so this picture is not the image of yours but just something to delivmct the fact that you have a 9 trays oven for sale? What about the specs? Are you sure it is actually a 9 trays oven? And you haven't address the concerns expressed about the electricity/power requirements especially s regards the number of phases it needs to function. |
Business / Re: Thread For Bakery Owners And Intending Owners In Nigeria by Oktane: 7:55am On Feb 06, 2019 |
omoayeni1: Why are you selling? And also provide detailed specs of the equipment. For instance how many phases of electricity does the mixer require? Are you willing to sell them separately or as a package ? Pls put your best price from e both here on the thread for interested buyers. 1 Like |

funkyjms: So you want me to give the product and their company free advertising ABI? Those who are interested will seek out the company. If you are a serious FMCG practitioner you will always seek out new and innovative products that sell very well and quite frankly the products are not difficult to spot if you have a good nose. By the way the product I mentioned is packaged in brown flex and is made on Mushing/Ilupeju industrial estate by a fairly well known food/confectionery company. You can't miss it ......if you search well. |
Business / Re: In What Business Can I Invest #1,000,000 And Get A Profit Of #4,000 Daily? by Oktane: 4:59pm On Feb 05, 2019 |
For a banker the best model for you I assume will be an investment in something that is simple and straightforward. It must be devoid of complexities and must be a business that you can audit, appraise and decide upon within minutes of entering the location. Nothing beats trading at a distributorship level especially if you are in a town outside Lagos state. All you need is to register as a distributor with a company, buy and move the goods to your location and sell it from there. This is even better of you are a sole distributor in the area in question. Truthfully, the returns are quite minimal (about 10% per cycle; either weekly or monthly). I know a banker in one of the Western States who is now a big Honeywell Flour Mills Distributor. He only goes there on Saturdays. ............and you really cannot steal flour just like that. Another banker I know is a major distributor for Gala in a frontline Eastern State. He distributes products from small companies too. A simple model would involve you becoming a distributor, stocking goods and having some people come and take sell (on commission basis) and remit money to an account opened for that purpose with all the contemporary technology bells and whistles. There is even a new product launches recently by an Indian company that is a major hit. Even some parts of Lagos are yet to know about it. It appeals to Children. It sells like the proverbial hotcake. If this 50.00 product is bought to a volume of 10 Million Naira and taken to any state in this country it will sell of in less than one month .....with the right strategy and model of course. Many products like this abound. 1 Like |

So many ideas in this thread. Some very practical and reasonable, some quite fantastic and bogus and some outright stupid. But I guess all have to come together so that OP can sieve through and know what is best for him. 1 Like |

fibiyaks: I beg to disagree Sir. The most important thing Atiku and Obi have accomplished as individuals is to elevate themselves from the masses through a don't of hardworking and sheer grit. You may disagree with my position but I can tell you that it is no easy effort to grow through the ranks of poverty and emerge successful in this country. You may wish to note that Atiku may not necessarily qualify as the most current public servant in history but he is one person that has transformed the proceeds of his alleged loot into income generating streams that has helped a number of other Nigerians escape from deprivation. Don't you just wish the Abacha Billions were all invested in our economy this translating to real benefits. I think this would be less traumatic for our economy in the long term. And by the way your posts betray the deep seated animosity you bear deep within. Don't do this to yourself. No politician is worth it. And after all a people only attract the leadership we deserve. So the elections of next week will only spew a reflection of our very selves. Such is the perfection of Creation |
Business / Re: Pls I Need Practical Business Idea That Can Convert 200k To 400k Within 6 Months by Oktane: 1:07pm On Jan 29, 2019 |
It would have been nice to know which axis of Lagos you live but I suppose we have to work with the info you have provided. Anyway, I am willing to share with you a sales model designed for use with different products that will sell very well in very high density areas. The product I have adopted comes in two pricing variants; 50.00 and 100.00. I do both as they have different market segments. As stated earlier, I can only provide guidance while you will decide what is best for you. You could start with a sampling/survey excercise before deciding if it is worth your while. The profit margin will be somewhere between 10 and 20 percent per cycle. Each cycle represents each purchase. And depending on the product and proximity to producer and the market each cycle can last between two days to 2 weeks. Please send an email (octapluss@gmail.com) requesting for the FMCG Framework. Indicate your locality in Lagos to enable me modify the model to suit your local peculiarities. This is absolutely FREE 4 Likes 1 Share |

Erec: I have a few questions for you. Your answers will define my response but I do think that I could perhaps proffer a solution that works for you. 1. Where is your location; Lagos or.......? 2. Are you a hard worker? Can you do what it takes (within legal bounds of course) to make this money with very minimal risk? 3. Are you willing to earn the money yourself. This implies that you will hold your capital & following my guidance you will invest the money and earn the extra 200k yourself. You will see the profit come in direct proportion to your effort. 3. This model will not be online. It will also be no gamble neither is it multilevel marketing. It is a regular and traditional money making process but adopting a more scientific predictability. Are you prepared to make this happen with really early mornings and a lot of moving around? I await your next post which should most likely address the above listed reservations. 1 Like |

Aufbauh: The CJ does have a moral burden based on the discoveries made so far but the law must follow its course. Mr. President has acted unconstitutionally and this singular act will obfuscate the matter on ground and make him very unpopular. Sadly, this was a well set trap which he predictably fell into .............albeit unwittingly. |

Lexusgs430: I am sure they will have a very effective legal team. Bros do not get me wrong. I do not in any way support their business model but I speak from a strictly legal standpoint. There is absolutely no way you will win them in a legal battle. On the moral question, their model is less than despicable. But morally wrong doesn't mean illegitimate. You had been warned even by posters/billboards. 3 Likes |
Car Talk / Re: How Cars 45 Ripped Us Off by Oktane: 1:51am On Jan 08, 2019 |
Lexusgs430: It won't work. The caveats were well placed. I sympathize with the victims but in all objectivity, these guys(cars45) have business model that is designed to suit them and them alone. What beats me is that the tell-tale signs are very evident and yet people still fall for this 'scam'. Who on earth in a state of sobriety buys a car he cannot test drive especially with large well positioned signs blaring this warning evidently. It's a working model for our society and the desperate ones amongst us will still patronise them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

alphabbey1: Of course a neighbourhood shop is the ultimate. We are only looking at starting up. Most people seeking daily income do not have the outlay required to rent a shop and stock it this the need to start as a mobile merchant of one specific product while hoping that the proceeds will come to his aid when the need to rent shop arises and within the shortest possible time. |

Agboki: Very true. Those with a skill are better off in Nigeria today. But honestly many people especially graduates need money to even survive not to talk about taking care of themselves while learning a trade. It's not that easy for a lot of people Bros! And the second hand Keke is also good but how much does a good used Keke cost on the average? I assure you that even 150k will not buy a problem free Keke and many people seeking daily income have nothing close to this amount. |
Business / Re: With 200k What Biz Can One Do To Bring 4-5k Daily by Oktane: 8:20pm On Jan 02, 2019 |
alphabbey1: Not necessarily. As a matter of fact I always advise that people shun the traditional approach to starting business which requires renting a shop, furnishing and stocking. There are several ways you can make a lot of cash in a metropolitan setting like Lagos without owning a shop. I am sure you know that there are people who move from office to office selling stuff who make even moreoney than shop owners. Of course it also has its downsides but please understand a shop is a major cost for start-ups. And the cost never ends but keeps increasing. |

I have a proven technique and unique products that I can recommend for the first 20 Nairalanders here who are serious about starting a business next week. This is my 2019 new year gift for you. My proposition is thus; You will send me an email (octapluss@gmail.com) indicating your name/Monika and location within Lagos. I will respond by recommending two or three fast moving items that you can start with 50,000 or less. You will choose your preferred brand/product that you consider suitable for your immediate target market. I will advise that you conduct a trial with 10,000 only. If it works for you then you can invest 50,000 be then keep scaling up. At this point I will design and send to you via email an absolutely free customised operating manual that will detail in my personal opinion the best strategy for using that product to earn 100,000.00 monthly. I must however warn you that this will only work according to the effort and commitment you dedicate to the project. It will be hardworking at the beginning and will require you to put your certifications aside at least for a while Please note that you are at liberty to choose whichever product or company that you prefer. I have no ties whatsoever with any of the products/company that I recommend. You will approach the companies independently and negotiate your terms by yourself. This is only for Lagos residents only. I could consider residents of Oyo (Ibadan)and Ogun State but they will require more capital for obvious reasons. Please I can only accommodate the first 20 people who must be ready to commence next week. |

AFFORDABILITY Is it something everybody in the population can afford without overstretching themselves? Indomie comes to mind here. That is the secret of their success. It is a cheap product and always in demand. In hazarding a guess I thing the noodles market attracts over 1 Billion turnover daily. These guys are very good. Has anyone notice that they are the promoters of the wonderful product that is making waves called Cocopops? I know as lady in Lagos who buys it bulk and resldistributes it among school vendors and she makes a killing on a daily basis. |

Let me just say it simply. I t's the beginning of the year. Just this once abandon all shame and hit the road with a great product there you have it all. The following review the characteristics of a great product that you can sell; Daily Need. The preferred product must be something that is required by individuals or households on a daily basis. It could be food, household like soaps and detergents, toothpaste and creams. It could be insecticides, rat traps/poison etc. It must be a consumable that will be used and desired/required again on a most regular basis. |

Starboytwo: Sounds great to me. But also invest in something that you can sell in the morning when the viewing centre is 'sleeping'. There are products that you can sell and by 12.00 moon you received done and have made like 3-5k for that day with little stress......and it can only grow bigger in terms of sales volume and return on investment. |

henrygold100: You are the true son of your father. The biggest problem I see among Nairaland business seekers is the fact that they sidestep the very obvious money spinners that yield money but which may not be attractive or impressive especially considering our graduate status. Food in its different form and variety is the best way to approach these things. People must eat. All you need to do is modify an already existing model and make it contemporary and boom. Go out into your neighbourhood and look around and you will be surprised if you are eyes are trully open. Those women selling bread at major junctions in the evening, the mallams rolling vegetables in wheel barrows, and indeed all sorts. They all go home with something. While not advocating that you push ab art I do advise that you modifuly what they do and earn income daily. Nothing beats a consistent daily income. |
