All you see is daily earnings - have you considered the daily expenses which can be termed “the cost of doing business?”

Being your Boss is all nice and dandy on paper - and are you ready in a mad rush or hurry to take that responsibility without testing waters mildly by driving once a week ?

It is easier said than done that you can do other business as a driver - Guy, no part time driver who is involved in other business reaps the same profit or reward as one who is driving full time without the driving business suffering profit pullback.... when you stop driving, you stop earning.... so what is your point ? or your ghost will be driving while you run other businesses? do you have more than 24 in your own day ? hmmmmm

do you know the difference between taking transportation to work as a passenger for just about 30 minutes AND driving all day long trying to earn a living ? are you likely to fall asleep from being a passenger in a car for just 30 minutes or you are likely to fall asleep from driving more than 5 hours a day ? If you fall asleep as a passenger, is there fatal consequences like when you fall asleep as the driver? - if you don’t know the difference- go read my comment again and i hope you don’t have comprehension issues

As a bank teller u don't have any future in the bank or anything else to learn apart debit and credit. For u to get a loan is base on ur 70k salary. There is no future as a bank teller cus u are just ordinary a contract staff that ur service may no longer be needed at any time. U can't grow but financially and academically especially as a married man. They can't covert u to full staff. U can spend 3 years before they can increase ur salary with 10k. There is not Carrera in banking as a contract bank teller. Assuming is full staff then u will be talking but as a contract staff is dead on arrival. Talking from experience. Banking job as a teller and as a married man is waste on time and energy

To be honest with u the best for u is to buy the car and start to do bolt driving for ur self. Cus once u enter the bank u will never grow. Being a bank tellers as a married man is waste of time and energy cus no time for ur family, u can be sacked at any time, if u made mistake u pay with ur salary. U can spend 3 years before they can increase ur salary witj 10k. No conversion to full staff. U can even ask to come to work on Saturday and Sunday depending on ur branch. If u are not working at the head office u will be spending ur salary on transportation. My brother better run away from bank job as a teller is waste of time.

you people keep talking about if you make mistake they collect it from your salary - what if he makes fatal mistake driving due to fatigue or sleepiness from long hours of driving accident may collect his life (GOD FORBID) - hmmm many of ona wey never drive 2 hours constant before dey advise here like Bolt and Uber professionals. Guy, drive a whole day first, not just for fun oooo, but as a job come back home and tell me how far grin

you think it’s easy to drive 12 hours a day and not get hit or you hit someone ? hmmm hmmmm hmmm - this is not picking up car keys to go drop your kids at school and you go to work oooo, this is constant driving all day. You may pull the first 2 days, third day na sleep get you like you are a log of wood and 4th day you will not just feel like driving but do other things until the 5th day you will drive again and so on that’s how it is - guy take that bank job and use the opportunity to learn people skills because you will need it when you start your own business in 2 years. learn how the banking system works, you will need it later when you need loans to expand your business - as an insider you will know the tools of the industry no one will tell you except you are an insider, go there and learn with a concrete EXIT PLAN and forget about uber or bolt for now!

Are you aware a bank teller is a contract staff and will most likely remain so till you exit the banking industry?/ Go for Bolt. You will have the opportunity of working at your own pace and convenience.

what about accidents- robbery incidents, fuel shortages aka subsidy removal ? endless queue at gas stations, car repairs? possibility of car jacking (theft) car maintenance? frustration of getting stuck in traffic all day? complacency setting in because you own your car and getting lazy sometimes?

y’all think driving is a piece of cake ? the day i went on a road trip from Arizona to Georgia and back, even with frequent stops and relaxation - when i finally made it home I slept all weekend long like I was beaten by a gang of thieves - constant driving will max out your brain power and knock you into coma-like sleep always and be ready to gain weight due to sitting in one position for too long driving and eating impulsively because constant driving makes you hungry like crazy and you eat unhealthy junks most times because you are always on the go - Take the bank job and save up for 2 years adding to what you have now which is N700k - use the opportunity to gain customer service experience which includes interpersonal skills (patience, empathy and listening skills) and resign to start pure water or okrika business and thank me later...

Now when you start your pure water or okrika business it will allow you to think clearly during the week and make plans - if you still want to drive you can do that only on saturdays

by so doing - you will have more energy to drive from 6am to 6pm and make that N50k on saturdays that someone said is possible here (although I don’t believe it) while your wife manage the store for those 12 hours you are driving on saturdays only. This will afford you the opportunity to test how driving will condition your body if you decide to do it full time. That’s called testing the waters - and then rest on Sunday’s - if you don’t heed my advise and you go drive bolt as full time job, boy you go remember say i warn you ooo - anyways, Good luck

Although I am not a fan of the Nigerian Army commanders, but modern warfare is mostly based on intelligence gathering and using sick to limit the scope of attack than random bombings and shootings and if the traditional ruler of a certain place do not see the COAS as trustworthy to let him know what he is seeing and credible info about the potential dangers in his town or city, how will he be able to gather good intelligence to prosecute the fight against insurgents within the kingdoms neighboring enclaves?

Where is the EFCC ? Why not start arresting anyone with more than N500K in their bank accounts with no verifiable means of income?

Because when a jobless person has 5 million in his or her account - that is already a red flag. In America, you can not just walk into a bank and deposit $5,000 cash without raising eyebrows. In fact the bank manager will seat you down and tell you this will take some time and he will make contacts with the authorities whether they tell you or not. You better pray you can prove the source of that money!

I strongly believe Nigerian Bank officials are giving kidnappers info about who has what in their accounts thereby making their customers targets of these kidnappers, especially those personal bankers my foot!!!!.

And when kidnappers collect money nko? they lodge it in the banks - The clean up of Nigeria must start with EFCC officials raiding COMMERCIAL banks to fish out customers with deposits and withdrawals that do not match their earnings and profits from legitimate career or business undertakings. Also cell phone retail outlets, land sales offices, car sales locations must by law be made to inform the EFCC when they transact any business above 500k - it must take 7 days to clear as the EFCC must check the person's finances with proof of employment and business.

IF Buhari is serious now, it is time to do mass recruitment of at least100,000 EFCC agents and peg the minimum qualification at HND/ BSC with start up salary as N100,000. WHERE TO RAISE N120 Billion TO PAY THEM? At least 50 million Nigerians own bank account out of 180 million- Every bank account holder will be charged N200 a month or N2,400 a year [EFCC safety fee] you will be amazed their salaries will be ready in the first 7 days of every month and there will be great motivation packages for successful prosecution. N2,400 is too little an amount to pay a year for every to have peace of mind from robbers and kidnappers - YES, we will all have to make that sacrifice but it is worth it - And from the next year when assets and cash from criminals are seized and sold, MORE MONEY WILL BE RAISED to fund the 100k EFCC recruits and that will trickle down the bank charges from 2400 to 2000 and over time - the EFCC won't need the bank charges to sustain itself as they will be self sustaining. THIS IS A MASSIVE IDEA if only the government will heed. 100,000 EFCC recruits deployed into 36 states is 2,777 per state which is just enough to create the needed efficiency in investigation and prosecution.

In America, we say "FOLLOW THE MONEY" - if armed robbers and kidnappers can not buy land, build houses, buy cars and expensive phones to impress girls and live a flash life and can not take money to the bank without the source being questioned, then there will be no incentive for high scale crime like robberies and kidnaping - WHERE YOU WON KEEP THE MONEY? HOW YOU WON SPEND AM? grin
