OrlandoOwoh:Who's spreading lie between both of us? APC governors did not oppose ECA because of spendings by the FG but simply due to their desire to pull down Jonathan by all means. Besides, when did spending on insurgency become a crime? |
datola:You deserved dirty slap with this nonsense you just posted. Did you say Buhari hasn't done anything negative to warrant been castigated by Mbaka or any well-meaning Nigerian? Was increase in kerosene price not a negative act? Was increase in Electricity tariff without corresponding increase in power supply not a damnable decision? Was Mbaka not affected by this prolonged fuel crisis? Get your head thoroughly examined dude. |
OrlandoOwoh:Arrant nonsense. I guess your body, soul and spirit went into partial paralysis when APC governors fought against the Excess Crude A/c. You must have slid into convulsion when Jonathan was taken to court for building up ECA preparatory toward saving for rainy days. My friend, you obviously lack conscience. |
A nation of heartless men and women. We claim to be religious yet, we're so far from godliness. Ameachi, Oshiomole, Fashola and many APC stalwarts were the ones that vehemently opposed the creation of Sovereign Wealth Fund but they all kept mute today having realised their folly. This also clearly shows that Buhari is a chameleon by feigning ignorance of his party's opposition to Okonjo Iwealla's save-for-rainy-day economic policy? May God save the nation from this unconscientious ruler. |
OrlandoOwoh:I thought by now, you and your cohorts would have repented from the satanic lies you peddled against Jonathan but it seems many of you were fed with milk of wickedness right from the womb. For you information, Nigeria's woes started from 1960, in fact it began with that unthoughtful amalgamation of 1914. Heaping all the blames on Jonathan is one of the greatest insensitivities and wickedness in human history. No matter what your ilks say, Jonathan remains the best President Nigeria ever had. Waiting for your hero Buhari to find his left from right and achieve 20% of Jonathan's laudable feats. |
OrlandoOwoh:What stupidity are you trying to sell to your fellow mischief makers? Have you forgotten how Nigeria descended to zero electricity megawatt for the first time in her history? Have we ever experienced this kind of prolonged fuel crisis in Nigeria before? Come to think of it, why in your deluded brain do you think Nigerians chose to vote APC in 2015? To change the country for the better or for the worst? Instead of burying your head in shame, you're here justifying incompetence and scam. May the pain inflicted on Nigerians as a result of Buhari's incompetence and APC's deceits never depart from your house. Can you say amen? |
Op, those claiming Buhari never replies Fayose are just bunch of Lai-infested pretenders. If there's anybody that gives Buhari, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu sleepless nights and dimples, it's Ayodele Fayose, the only spirit that eats jollof rice. The man has become a tse-tse fly on the scrotum of Buhari's govt. |
sixtuschimere:Haha! Pa Audu Ogbe still get mama? RIP |
modath:That's your business. Even the dullest of dullards knows I was referring to your uncouth mouth. |
jogojogo:Why didn't he kick out Obasanjo and Yaadua even before he clocked 70? You're not making sense. |
Same old story. An epic movie becomes comedy when it stays more than desired in the market. Abacha's loot is yet to be fully recovered 18 years after, yet someone is deceiving himself and his myopic followers with daily fables. |
modath:But you can open your bucca cavity to call another leader an "ineffective Buffon". Hypocrisy is gradually becoming a religion in Nigeria. |
omenka:Sometimes I wonder whether some of you guys think before talking. You arrogate so much myth to Buhari and forget how he was removed cheaply from govt even as a military man. By the time your machoman is brought down to earth, your signature tunes will change. Buhari is just an over hyped paperweight. |
Fmartin:You're a small boy. This was how Buhari's shameful ouster started gradually in 1985 . Complaints came from right, left and centre about his selective ,vindictive and persecutory rule but he turned deaf ears just a similitude of what's happening now. No wonder he was disgraced out of office in one of the cheapest palace coups in human history. For your information, Buhari was removed like a mere chicken in 1985 even when he was in his youthful 40s and I pray he continues in the same manner. His eyes will soon clear. |
Mynd44:Even you? I thought NL MODS are supposed to be apolitical and nonpartisan. Wonders shall never end. Anyway, don't ban me oo. If you do, God is watching you with His numerous eyes. Moreover, for those who normally waives off PDP allegations, wait till 2019 when the true colour of APC is unravelled. That party (APC) can silence anyone for the sake of power. |
ckmayoca:Any further delay in signing the budget may spell doom for the nation. Nearly all govt activities are in limbo. After all, the whole absurdity started from the presidency. |
senior123:Let's eschew sentiment when national issues are discussed. If Saraki had wanted to take his own pound of flesh, he would have instigated outright rejection of that flawed budget. I think the nation should commend the NA for placing national interest far above any personal or primordial interests. That's the truth. |
National Assembly should stop been used as punching bag by the Executive. |
Many had at various times expressed worries about the seemingly display of insincerity and non-challance by President Mohammadu Buhari on pressing national issues even before he took the mantle of leadership in May 2015. From stating categorically that Abacha was not corrupt to tagging the fight against Boko Haram as an onslaught against the north and recently, unexplainably keeping mute on Agatu massacre, the list is endless. However, let's not try to dwell so much on the past but focus our minds on developing issues. During his ongoing state visit to the United States, President Buhari was reported to have purged out his decision not to append signature to the 2016 Budget. He premised his stance on the need to carefully scrutinise the budget in order to determine if "what was passed is the same as the original proposal sent to the NA". This doesn't only sound insulting, it emphasises how our leaders unrepentantly take us for fools. In the first instance, Buhari was cunningly attempting to exonerate the executive from the padding that took place prior to the presentation of the Appropriation Bill to the Red and Green Chambers. It's now on record that the president of the most populous black nation on the planet turned himself to a postman who delivers parcels without knowing its content. Our president personally took a distorted document to the National Assembly without vetting its content only for him to blame govt bearucracy for the anomaly. What a shame! After admitting publicly that the budget was indeed padded under his watch as the CinC, our president is subtlety grandstanding by attempting to flex muscles with the legislators and using them as sacrificial lambs instead of thanking the lawmakers for saving his face from national and global ignominy that trailed the budget padding debacle. The questions are thus; was it the national assembly that padded the budget from the onset? The answer is capital NO. Why is the president suddenly attempting to shod up his battered image by giving the impression that he knew what he was doing from the beginning? With startling revelations from infractions discovered in the original bill that emanated from the executive, the president should thank his stars for having a National Assembly that was magnanimous enough to trim down the budget from its original over blotted figure to about N6.02 trillion passed last week. Aside national interest, that budget should have been thrown to the refuse bin. Mr. President and his team should stop taking Nigerians for a ride by admitting mistakes whenever they err instead of playing smart with bulk passing. The hullabaloo that characterized the 2016 budget is enough. Wasting another weeks before putting the budget in motion can inflict more pains on the nation's sinking economy. |
obailala:Lol... I can never run out of words because I have them in inexhaustible reserve. I guess I was banned for attempting to take one of APC praise singers to the cleaners. |
I am sure Fashola never thought of turbine malfunction or pipeline vandalism before boasting to deliver stable electricity in 8 months during the last election campaigns. Anybody that takes Nigerian politicians (progressives or whatever they call themselves) for their words is on his/her own. Meanwhile, someone should help ask the MODS why I was banned for 1 week. Nobody can close our mouths from speaking against this deceitful APC govt. |
Ouch! Someone is listing upward increase in oil price as an achievement of Buhari! How did we get to a dismal level of allowing these analogue entities to reign over the affairs of men? Oyegun, for your information, Buhari is not, I repeat, he's not fighting corruption but on vendetta and vindictive missions. Has there been any part of the world where handcuffing, jailing and loot recovery were used as effective weapons to fight corruption? Has the jailing of Armed Robbers and Drug peddlers curbed stealing and drug trafficking in Nigeria and elsewhere? The answer is NO. Corruption is fought with systemic, institutional and legal frameworks but these antidote are conspicuously missing in Buhari's and APC's version of fighting corruption. Oyegun, you've scammed Nigerians and it's better you lie low till 2019. Simple! |

noblezone:Will you shut that thing there! Where is the "good governance in this govt and who secretly authorized the stealing of the budget from the National Assembly? Why are you people so gullible and mischievous? Gosh! |
Doing what they know how to do best. It reminds me of how they used pictures to scam 15million NEPA Bill Certificate Specialists. For those who have forgotten, one of them (I won't mention name) even posted Bonkke Crusade Pictures as Buhari's campaign crowd and some people fell for it. Unrepentant evil doers would always smile when a house is on fire. |
Conceding defeat is good when it's necessary but doing so to an unrepentant religious bigot, a tribalist, 95%5% sentimentalist, someone who would be quick to condemn insecurity in Rivers but takes eternity to speak about Fulani escapades, a president who says one thing but denies the next moment, a smooth operator who closes his eyes to corruption in his own party but goes after the opposition with passion, a leader who had contested for the presidency for 12 years but have no cue on how to bring the country out of economic, political and socio-cultural wood, will not do any nation any good. Handing over to Buhari has done more harm to Nigeria than good. |
Ameachi and Buhari are poised to truncate democracy in Nigeria just the way the later did in 1983 but their end would be disastrous. |
I have said it severally and I would reiterate it here, if anybody is looking for direct descendants of Lucifer, he/she doesn't need to go too far because they abound in APC. This was the same thing done by Tinubu and Fashola in Lagos where election results were changed overnight in favour of the defunct ACN but they would be the first to raise alarm about rigging. APC is an assembly of men and women of the highest order of dishonesty and crass wickedness. But let people quote me anytime, Buhari's end would be brutal than his 1985 ouster with the way he's going about muzzling the opposition and trying to wriggle his way into the Niger Delta. Nigerians should watch out |
If PDP can pull their acts together and remain a united entity, I see them returning to power in 2019. In the first instance, PDP did not loose the 2015 elections because of non-performance as erroneously construed by many, but rather, the North found a fertile ground in APC since PDP had given its presidency ticket to Jonathan. Justifiably or not, allowing power to remain in the South till 2019 would have been a political suicide for the people from the Sahara and that was fiercely resisted with everything in their arsenal during the presidential polls. If the ex president had been a northerner even with poorer performance, he would have been overwhelmingly returned in 2015. But with Buhari's administration taking off on shaky note and his party's internal squabble seemingly unabating, coupled with PDP zoning its presidency ticket to the North in 2019, the coast seems to be frosty for APC but cozy for PDP. A typical northern politician would feel at home with a Mallam Ibrahim Sherau as president than a subtle and unpredictable Buhari at the helms of affairs. |
Ovamboland:I won't bother to reply your tirades again but not until I resend those insults back to you and those who wasted their hard earned money on your useless brain. There's no part of my previous posts where it was mentioned that those States had money than the FG. Keep twisting facts to support your foolery. |
Ovamboland:Now I know you're daft. Do you need to be told that Lagos and Rivers can foot the bill of any political party be it opposition or ruling party in Nigeria? Why in your own deluded reasoning do you think Oyegun was raking over inability to"capture" Akwa Ibom, Delta and Rivers if not for party funding purpose? If you care to know, Lagos GDP is an equivalence of 5 other African countries. Do you also know that Tinubu, for instance rake in as much as N10b from Lagos State on monthly basis? I don't want to to waste my time insulting you but you can do the needful by not quoting me again. A toddler brain trying to be relevant. |
