You started well but ended badly. You have a good point when you started but your conclusion is just not right enough.

I wonder why we are not looking at the facts.

What I will agree with is that "most mature men" will rather wait and prepare for a quality lady than just at the women, although they play "away games" which is having fun at the expenses of a willing lady until they get their acts together.

It is not about being classed or classless. It is more intuitive than delibrate plan.

However, "real" men know how to strike a good bargain for quality women whether they can afford it or not. It is just like real life mechandise. You can talk to the seller to reserve it for you, you can buy on credit. If you have integrity, you can always get whatever you want on credit. After all most great ventures do take loans as long as they can repay them.

What has credit got to do with this? If you see a wonderful lady and you are not able to afford her price, you can still get her even if you have nothing. Most of the most successful marriages I know were contracted that way. A man with high self-esteem, integrity, and impeccable moral background dont need to be rich to get a quality lady. Real ladies dont need your money to love you.

By the way, when the poster said expensive ladies, I bet he forget to tell us what the quality of those ladies are. A village gal can as well have a great feminist quality that a graduate dont have. I think it depend on your taste and your level of perception. Human beings are too sophisticated to be categorized as simply as you did.

Why are you shocked, don't tell me that hadith is a fraud, you can see the reality of it today.

No, I was no shocked because of the hadith. I have read it before in the past and I know it is genuine. I was shocked by the manner you enjoy talking about bood and death as if there is a special award for it. I think the hadith cannot stand when equated along the quranic provision for mercy of Allah which is present in everything.

Secondly, the hadith was not in isolation. There is another hadith where the prophet was reported to have made a prediction that in future, Allah will take your fear out of your enemies and that muslims will be subdued. they will be like "foam." When asked why will it happened? "would it be because we are few?" he replied that no, you will in fact be many, but you will be weak!

Have you ever thought of what he meant by muslims being weak? was he saying they can't fight or that they wont have the weapon to wage war? No! In another hadith, he interpreted that weaknes to mean weakness of faith. And what is weakness of faith? I refer you to go and read a book "Let us be muslims" By Al moudoodi or something like that. I read the book about 10 years ago, and I believe that you need it. In it, he wrote about the true meaning of being a muslims, and also diffrent types of muslims, difrence types of Islam.etc.


Where am I going? if there is bloodshed in muslims land it is not because Allah wanted it on them but because they deserted the path of Allah. Tell me which of the muslim countries today is fully committed to Allah's injuctions. tell me which of them is united (dont forget disunity is also once mentioned as a factor for downfall of the Ummah). So while we quote hadiths, we must be wary of giving them blanket interpretations and we must evaluate them based on the "circumstance of revealation" and not based on our own understanding. So instead of us ascribing the bloodshed in muslims land to a past prediction and of lookng for scapegoats in the west, muslims muslims must begin to look inward and do soul searching to seewhere they are wrong and how they have departed from the path of Allah. They should also look at how to make their community better instead of trying to compete with western powers and also blaming the west for every act of evil they committed.

Look, my dear, that man's teaching is circulating freely all over Nigeria. I have listened to his Audio lectures and I can tell you he is a firebrand preacher with VERY STRONG PERSUASIVE VOICE. I don't know much about him, but if the story above is true, I daresay his hosts are in trouble! On second thought, one of his preachings was against violence. So I find it difficult to reconcile the two situation. Pity me, I have been away from islamic community for a very very long time, so I don't have any update about their activities!

Finally, I am asame of the way you guys are talking about terrorsist as if they are kind of saints. Islam s clear about the punishment meant for someone who kill innocence peoplejust as it is very tough on killing fellow muslims and killing oneself for whatever reason. When terrorist strikes, he will commit 5 great sins all of which lead straight to hell:
1. Killing innocence people;
2. Killing harmless people:
3. Killing muslims who are n board;
4. causing great pains to his parents
5. causing damage to the image of Islam.

My problem with those who continue to dawdle round the issue of terrorism is that, they forget to condemn the act and halt supports to the supporters of the acts in totality. Instead, they are hidding their faces in the dark when a bomb explodes and then show up to support those evil men just because the are winning souls into Islam! There is actually someone in my area that is like this.

My points above are off topic, and probabaly irrelevance, but they are a reflection of my mind. And not directed to attack you or Tpia. Just my own mind. It is also not to humiliate muslim community. But I want everyone to know they are a product of my candid observations. I think if we just have enough courage to condemn evil being perprated in the name of Islam, non muslims will begin to know where real muslims stand.

This kind of lady is abnormal but they are real. What you need is to do is confide in your next gf about her.

Before then, get the sick lady to have a meeting with you and find out what she want. Find a way to record the dialogue and keep it as a future evidence. Get at least 3 more of such recording and ensure that you ask her to leave you alone.

Thereafter, find out who her people are. If they are responsible, try and talk to them and play the tape to them as a prove (that is if you are as clean as you want us believe)

Then go after your business and let her dance naked if she will. I think you caused it in the first place. 5 years is damn too long to let such madness continue.

I have heard that some guys are afraid of marriages. I dont, know if it is true of false. But I do know that when a man want to marry you, he would not be confused.

It is true, that a man can introduce you to his sibbling without having in mind thought of marriage. I have seen that several times, even yours sincerely.

What the poster missed is glaring. It is ridiculous for any lady to have intimate affair with a man for two years without knowing what is the man's perception of her. Another method is to get a third party to do the job for you. Maybe his friend who is close to both of you and can keep secret. He would talk to him as if acting on his own volition. His/her mission is to find out what is holding him down and what is his problem etc.

On your own part, I think you should give him a little more time but no more sex (if you have been giving him that freely before) It is time for you to begin self examination. . . Somehow, the guy may have an issue, find it and try to deal with it intelligently. You may win eventually, just as you may lose.

What can we do?

Muslims alone can help defeat terrorism. This is a fact. Western world will never achieve anything without active involvement of muslims. Everything needed to defeat terrorism is in shariah. When faithfully applied, terrorism will either reduced or vanished.

Just look around you and see how many time some people proclaim death on non muslims in a day, and how many times they preach peace as found in islam. Take a look at this section, for example and sample the negative topics started by muslims against positive ones, you will understand there is so much hatred in the land.

I think I met the criteria. Any man with a responsible background should have them.

1. Extreme and often misleading preaching
2. Chronic ignorance of interpretation of shariah/Quran
3. Placing too much emphasis on what someone said *usually sheikh* instead of Quran
4. Placing too much emphasis on hadiths (especially the fabricated hadiths) over the quran
5. Religion comparison, with view not to educate, but to show how knowledgable they are of other religions and to win argument.
6. Placing too much emphasis on appearances than conduct.
7. Lack of tolerance of other religions.
The manifestation of extremism, begun when someone start expecting everyone else to follow his path/conviction even when it is clear he has no point!

It is from among people like these that we have potential terrorists. When they start facing foolish danger, then they are a great candidate for the devil's job.

In the wake of the capture of Faruq, the failed christmas bomber, a lot of attention has been focus on Nigeria and Nigerian Muslims.

I have been impressed by the prompt condemnation of Faruq's action by the generality of Muslims in Nigeria. This is commendable.

Whichever way we look at it, Faruq action has brought to fore a new urgency to curb Islamic radicalization world wide. What made the matter more painful was a reckless bloodbath that occured in Bauchi around the same period. With that, we effectively sent wrong signal to the world as a haven for terrorists!
Brethrens, the Islam that we are given did not preach death and terror. A set of people has arisen to to use Islam as a weapon of oppression. Not only against non muslims but also against muslims.

Today, I am asking reasonable people : what can be done to stem the tide of Islamic radicalization? How do we put an end to continued use of Islam to settle political differences?

I quite understand your predicament. But I can assure you that you feel the way you did because of your closeness to the lady. And because the two of you continue to have physical contact and also hang out together. The only way out is for you to stop hanging out wth her and limit your involvement with her to professional activities only. if you need to hangout with her, be sure your wife is around.
