Though the 1M is quite expensive but I guess his looking to install an early streamer, which is mostly use to cover for sensitive equipment area(offices and all), but nothing bad having your home covered by an early streamer Indelec Lightning arrester. Niyiomolyunade helped showed me the basic information, which we installed for a customer recently, but if you consider such arrester as Indelec as against the conventional "Trident" types, you need to have enough to cover the cost hiidee: Thanks for dis info. Pls how much do u think arrestor will cost as someone told me it is upto 1M naira. |

Having check your recent comments, your loads are within a minimal range (600 - 1200W) battery should charge well, though panels could have being more Your panels may be averaging 2KW - 3.6KW instaneously on ideal cases I.e. if they are all installed on a single plane I.e. one side of your roof From my own POV I suspect your panels are installed on different side of the roof, dragging and shifting the power points of power via the charge controller. If you can provide pictures just ascertain this point, Also, lastly to note is that I pray and hope that your panels are not a "refurbished, used, tokunbo,UK used" solar panels .... If that is the case then that is another angle to look at things from. en0uwem: Good day everyone. This is the solar system that was setup for my store. It's been about a month now since it was setup. The problem with this system is that harvesting and charging is very poor. It barely charges well. And I am using it off grid - I only charge with the solar panels.
The charging is slow and if it continues this way, I fear the battery won't last as I hardly get a full charge. It's always one or two bars charging on very sunny days.
Please what should I do? |

Since your budget is tight, it is advice to that you do away with your AC to allow for a moderate size inverter and energy storage(battery) needed On an average you should be needing a 1.5KVA inverter 24V ( two battery) system with say up to 1.5KW of PV array, a 40A MPPT charge controller to go with it and other installation accessories A budget of 750,000 - 950,000 will suffice You can contact me via signature, if need be for more clarification limsycutey: I need an inverter with batteries and solar panels for a 2 bedroom. Can someone give a breakdown of what I need and how much I'm looking at. I'm on a tight budget so I need cost-saving options. Thanks.

If to make things more clear, 1. If fans are OX consider changing them to DC ones 2. Those tape LED sometimes are power guzzlers once seen one used for signage of just three LED use up to 12W and they were daisy chained ... Know the power of your tape light 3. Your TV wattage 4. Total number of lights and how many you want on at a given time 5. CFL i.e. energy savers are different from LED bulbs, kindly note With the above, I am sure many others will give you their own inputs too. Passion8: Oga GeorgeD1, I salute you sir. I understand you are trying to cut cost and all but have you tried saving up for the GX devices, a VENUS with no display will go a long way especially forbyour home automation, the options you mentioned earlier will only give a temporary solution netotse: Hi Guys,
I'm trying to decide which one would be better for my Multiplus, a VE.bus bluetooth dongle or a MK3 USB cable I'm thinking of integrating the multiplus into Home Assistant and I'm also penny pinching.
It seems configuration ability is limited with the bluetooth dongle but the disadvantage of the cable is that it has to be connected to change settings and also get data, not sure which would be a better option.
If there's anyone that has a spare MK3 cable I wouldn't mind. |

I have the phobia for water too, but I think with a life jacket one should fair well, when on a boat We don't have carp in Nigeria, except introduced as an invasive species ... Never caught ones though Showed a buddy from Minnesota recently how to fish for grouper off sandbar and it was a blast Kindly share your carp experience here for all to learn Cabardin: I prefer to fish on the shore because I'm afraid of drowning if I fall off the canoe. It's much more pleasant for me to sit quietly on the beach with a fishing rod and enjoy the silence. A couple of times, a friend invited me to fish in a private pond for carp, but he gave me the spinning rod and everything else, as I have Trout fishing rods. I, in turn, showed him how to fish alone. I like to share my experience with other fishermen and get their valuable advice in return. After all, carp fishing also has its own characteristics, which I did not know at all, and it was nice to learn from a man who loves this business with all his soul. |

Incorporate a change over & use only when there is black out, using while charging to me is not advisable as they get very hot when charging and ensure to leave it on for Ultima temperatures for the components. Kjlionz: Someone suggested I replace the bulbs with new original ones, I have since done so, and so far everything looks good. But please one more thing, is it advisable to keep the Inverter constantly on, charging the battery while using it? |

They have local partner that offers their two year warranty and last I check their 8kva/48V Is not available but you have the option to choose other ones, if it fits your needs BTW I can give you a fair deal should you consider Growatt A quick review of the Pelton battery via their website, shows it has no communication, best you go for an Inverter that gives the freedom to edit the charging parameters as Growatt but sure other products you can look up abound Jdesigns: Don't know much about the Growatt service center.
But the data sheet of the growatt 6000-12000t dvm or hvm looks better.
For the prices, looking at something quite good even if I can't afford the deye now, would be pairing the inverter with a Pelton battery. |

Question you need to think through is Which of the above have service centre locally, warranty period and then price too Jdesigns: Hello House
Please I'm looking for a transformer based hybrid inverter (no money for Deye inverter at the moment) seeing the must/a&e/ voltron 7.5kva inverter and than the growatt 6kw transformer based inverter. Which would you recommend or if you have an other brand that's reliable.
Thanks |
