Properties / Re: My Family Now Homeless - Man Whose ₦300m Mansion Was Pulled Down In Lagos by OlujobaSamuel: 7:55pm On Nov 24, 2023 |
HRMK:It's FHA (FG) that is demolishing the houses, just like Ajao estate, it's not the state govt. Aside buildings with structural integrity, the only place Lagos State Govt has demolished of recent (after election) is on the Island, the one that happened in lekki (ikota) This FHA demolition is moving to Gowon estate too soon, I passed there and noticed that so many buildings have been marked. Those ones too go start making noise that it's Lagos State when the demolition starts 4 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Babajide Owodunni: Appeal Court Sacks Ogun PDP Lawmaker by OlujobaSamuel: 12:11pm On Nov 23, 2023 |
Triplerg:It's a similar case with different parties and different prayers. It wasn't the opposition that went to court. The person that replaced him went to court. He pleaded the court to give him the ticket as Shekarau voluntarily withdrew. In the case at hand, it wasn't PDP nor it's members that is praying the court for a replacement. The opposition party is. The court do not grant prayers not requested for, as most Justices would say "the court is not a father Xmas, they give or decline your request" PDP or it's replacement candidate should have gone to court to compel INEC to accept the replacement. In both cases, you will noticed that the two candidates lost the ticket despite the party winning, but the beneficiary isn't the same. It's the prayers and applicants involved that determines the beneficiary The issue on replacement that I think it's gross miscarriage is that of Umahi, Akpabio and Lawan. They never participated in the process, the right person (locus standi) challenge the case but they were refused 2 Likes |

@op, it's Nkan Mbe, not sure it's Iri ri Aiye. Yinka Aiyefele once worked with him, it was rumoured that Yinka had the accident that broke his spinal cord while on a mission. Another person is L'abe Orun by Sunday Adisa on MITV. I love watching/listening to Nkan Mbe more compared to L'abe Orun, the former censor some of his stuff, while L'abe Orun do not which makes some scene not cool for children to watch then, before NBC starts regulating all those progs to censor what viewers can see 3 Likes |

Rejecting such gift is an unwise decision, it's more like rejecting the giver. I've given my parents in-law and my parents gift that I know they can give me 100folds of it without blinking an eye, but they still accept it and tell me not to have bothered. 3 Likes |
