And what's worse? the sacrifices men have to go through just to secure their trophy wives and work as a slave to keep her happy is slowly eroding, and men can simply buy the sex, basically renting out a woman that they previously paid a premium for. And that is how it hurts women, the unintended consequence of not understanding gender dynamics. In order words, feminism didn't free women from the chain they thought they were in, it freed men from the chains they never knew they were in.

Also, male and female psychology are different, and transgenders can explain this well if you know any. If you observe all females from every species (including humans), you will notice a distinct pattern, and it is that the male is sexually unselective, while the female is super selective. Ever had sex with a woman and she started feeling used? or her shakara (ego) end? that's it, women feel used if they have sex, like a part of them is gone, and them being emotional further compounds this, but men do not feel that way. You will hardly see a man saying that he wasted so many years in a relationship and gave her his best years, but women do this a lot, and it is this thing about how female sexual psychology evolved over time, as their value largely lies there.

So it baffles me to no end how this so-called feminism that loves women and somehow wants to free them keeps pushing this notion that they are equal to a man and can be as slutty as they wish while giving it a cool name such as ''sexual liberation'', ignoring the mountainous fact surrounding female promiscuity such as microchimerism, inability to bond, over-stretched hypergamy, sexual imprints, to name a few. They really fell for this scam called feminism (as opposed to egalitarianism) big time.
I have had this thought that feminism was orchestrated by men to liberate us men. Have you ever had that thought? Because in the end, everything our forefathers paid for, we got free and in surplus. They should check themselves, men may have slipped the feminism ideology to them to liberate us from paying for things we paid for in the past.

Pls refer to my thread about my girlfriend cheating on me even in the church

https://www.nairaland.com/5880851/girlfriend-just-confessed-she-fornicated

Finally last night she called me and was still pleading so I went to her place.

The door was open and I walked in only to see her crying so badly.
I talked to her and avdised her this talk went on for almost 4hrs.

I finally forgave her and decided to take her in again. But on the condition that she leaves the church. Its a redeemed church and its just here i n our area. I told her to join me at my branch (same redeemed) or she should choose any other church and that I was going to follow her.

To my shock she agreed to change she promised nothing of such can happen again and that she still loves me but can't change her church. She still wants to remain there and work out her salvation... I told her if that is the case then the relationship can't continue and that I was going to leave And then block her from my WhatsApp. She agreed and I left then I blocked her.

It Hurst still but I would remain like this

Modified*****

She finally came to my place this morning. Though I did the calling.
She has agreed to change the church and attend mine.
I must say that I wasn't regular with my attendance in church. She also pointed that I have to be steady with going to church too.

Conclusively we are back and better ..
Everyone should know that it takes God to have a peaceful and fulfilling relationship.
I may sound weak but hey! I know why I had to go through this to get her back.
I have equally cheated to the point she caught me pants down. and I really haven't been paying attention.

Guys the alpha male should a time to reflect too. Its saves a lot.
Might I ask you? Did you bother to know why it took her the whole night to decide whether your relationship with her is more important than the branch of church she is attending?

Wish you all the best sir.

Oh and BTW, you are gonna have STDs real soon. Bless up.

True, though, what omar09 is actually saying is that in gender relationship, women gatekeep sex, and men gatekeep relationship. Of course, you can argue that women want sex more than men or vice versa, but the point is that sex is expensive for a woman, and a relationship is expensive for a man. A man can basically have sex without any consequences and ''check out'', meanwhile, the woman has to deal with the probability of being pregnant (thanks to contraceptives), and if she is, saddled with an unwanted child for years, without any man to provide for her and her child. Not to add the social consequences of that is bequeathed to a loose girl, possibly causing social ostracisation, depending on the society.

Because femininity by itself is valuable for its being, a woman's worth is largely tied to her beauty, youthfulness, and inherent qualities hence, society looks at a woman's past to determine her worth if she is loose or not, has a child or not, etc. For men, a relationship is basically becoming 2.0 to a lady after her biological dad, and have to cater to her needs, while loving sacrificially. So yes, women bring sex, while men bring commitment. So in the evolution of things, sex is expensive to a woman, and the relationship is expensive to a man.
Explained it in details. But thanks to feminism, sex can be gotten anywhere and everywhere.

You are the emotional attachment type of guy.

You are not in love, but in chains. Like Haddon pointed out here, the worst a man can do to himself is to stay with a woman whom he loves very well. Man up and quit the relationship or stay back and fight for her love because love is supposed to be fought for and we are in a Romeo and Juliet movie.

Wow insightful post. I'm literally clapping my hands as I read through this. Astute. Though, I'll add more to it.

As a Nigerian diaspora myself, I agree with what you said. I'll like to date a Nigerian lady, but all the ones I met are in need of a mugu, not necessarily a man to grow together with, so I gave up. They are walking business where their asset, skills and professionalism starts and end with their body. The arrogance, entitlement, and seeing herself as the next best thing, is sickening.

And yes, feminism failed woefully with them because they practice feminism like a buffet, where they pick all the sweet sides of it, while leaving the one they do not want (such as equally financing their home for example). Most black british men are with other race of women than black, and part of the reasons you have highlighted, so I will stick to it.

I was in Accra last year with five Dutch colleagues (two males, three females), and my friend who came from Nigeria to Ghana to chill with us was shocked by the behaviours of these Europeans. Every time we went out at night to chill, the ladies paid for themselves, and didnt expect the men to do it. Something as basic as paying for yourself as a woman, along side their outstanding interlocution, was alien to him, as he said he never saw it before back home.

He went on a date with one, thinking maybe they paid for themselves because we were friends, but no, the girl paid for herself, and was genuinely interested in him. We stayed for a month, and they were hanging and chilling all through that period and if it happens that we stayed longer, their relationship would have gotten serious because I know her, and she genuinely liked my friend.

To Nigerian men (and even good women inclusive), the world is your oyster. If you dont like the partner you're seeing around you, go elsewhere. Your naija passport alone will shoot you to other ecowas countries, as well as some in the Americas such as Dominica and Barbados. You are not a tree, dont be stuck with what you dont want.
This is absolutely true. I'm going to add to it.

I think intelligence play a huge role in the life of women. That one went to school doesn't mean one is intelligent. It means one is literate.

I happen to connect with one Kenyan lady like that, she baffled me with the way she held intelligent discussions. When I first called her, she didn't ask where did you get my number or anything, I initially stated what I wanted from her and how I was intrigued with the way she writes, men you needed to see how took the discussion rope from me and schooled me in the art of having interaction with opposite sex, she later started chatting me first, and calling first too. where as her counter part here in Nigeria will be waiting for when I call or chat first. And when I do, it's always "Any gist for me". Quite appalling. If your discussion goes past "can you help me with 2k, it's urgent" you are definitely on your own.

Entitlement goes both way in humans. But I have never seen a man who wants to have sex with a woman and gives her attitude when she refuses because the said woman said "hi" to him on his way to work.

Or a man asking for sex like he owns the woman's body even when they're married. It's always begging.

Focus on prevention of single mom and ignore those that are already single moms

You post buttresses my point that your issue with single mom is boiled simple down to the fact the society hates them and not for personal reasons.if the society approved on them, you will also have joined the society to approve them.

For those that do not know, let us enlighten you a bit as little as we can in lay men language......

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which is the umbrella body of university lecturers in Nigeria, is threatening to down tools or embark on a strike over something called the IPPIS.

What is this IPPIS and why is it annoying the lecturers so much?
We answer your questions in the following paragraphs…

The meaning of IPPIS and how it works

IPPIS is an acronym for Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System.

The IPPIS Secretariat is a department domiciled in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF).

The IPPIS project, is responsible for payment of salaries and wages directly to the bank accounts of federal government employees.
There won't be any way for Ghost workers payment.....as they have been used to for many many years.

Truly, when you fight corruption, corruption fights back like a wounded lion!

You talk like a Crude Sadist!!! No pun intended! Just read what i made bold up there. You are not happy that there are Single mothers who are turning out great after all the challenges they face or that there are success stories or that there will continue to be success stories. You seriously want single mums to suffer just to prove a point, that they are majorly responsible for their predicament or simply because the society stigmatizes them. Seriously?? You enjoy the stigma and in your judgemental mind, they have no right to happiness. They have no right to be happy simply because they are single mums? Are you kidding me? It pricks you when you hear success stories. It pricks you when you see that there are still men around, inspite of the stigma, who marry these women. What is your grudge with these women? Why can't you wish people well? why must you always wanna prove a point with stigma even when there is light at the end of the tunnel ?

You will really need to stop!! Your hatred for these women is sickening!! Gosh! and you call yourself a christian? Damn!
No one hates them single mothers, everyone is judging them, I judge them. If you don't want to be judged, then stop living (drop dead) no one will judge you, at least none you will know of if you are dead.

Being a single mom shows this irresponsibility in one both male and female. It is more pronounced in the female since they're the ones left with the kids. Yet again, a woman who is widowed and or left by her husband is viewed as a heroine depending on how her children turn out to be. But those you got their kids out of wedlock, they're just simply stup.id, regardless, they can not dwell on their mistakes for too long but to only move on.

The goal is to educate the young ones coming up on the stigma on SM. They should know to take responsibility for any actions in their life. The stigma is there already, you can't change by simply educating we the old adults. But we can phase it out by educating the young ones to practice safe sex or be chastised.

Norahsthought:
Hey guys, so a little background story. I'm 25, finished school quite early (schooled abroad), and got a good headstart. I am pretty comfortable, I have a good job with a great growth trajectory. So really, I'm focused on my career right now and not particularly interested in starting a family soon.

So here's the real story. I have two male friends who have shown interest in marrying me. They are both doing very well and from equally good backgrounds. I initially wasn't interested in marriage (at least for now) but you know friends and family. I am not in love with any of them or even with anyone at the moment (I am a woman of war lol) but they are both great guys.

So my challenge now that I have decided to be open to marriage is this, how do I choose? Should I even listen to the advice of friends and family to open up to getting married to one of these men or should I just wait till when I feel ready? I need advice and please be nice.
Waiting for the one you've got a spark for is very risky. Check both of them, who understands you more, whom do you understand, whom have you been friends with for a really long time now, and then most of all, whom are you more comfortable with.

And I'm back from 7 days community work. To the mod who gave me that long time for community work, I will find you and I will fk you.
