19naia: i am concerned more that it could be premonition from higher source....When you got up, you should have prayed to cancel the bad dream ![]() |
miomonio: you did not reply to why the Israelite were in Egypt that long; I think they were in Egypt for 400 or so yearsI guess they just got comfortable in the land of Egypt and stayed on. It's like when people go abroad, the initial plan would be to go to the UK, make it within 5 years or thereabouts, and go back 'home' to settle up. Before one knows it, you're abroad for over 20 years and can't go back 'home' However, they wouldn't have stayed on for over 400 years if they weren't in captivity ![]() |
God2man: The truth is, we are a better christian if we speak in genuine tongues. We're talking the same language lol. "Genuine tongues" It's easy for me to just open my mouth and spew out rubbish. I'm pretty sure the devil will 'know' it's utter nonsense ![]() |
miomonio: @Omo Alata I want to learn. How did God harden Pharaoh's heart?Let's start at: Genesis 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; Fastforward when Joseph became a ruler in Egypt during the famine. He brought his people over and they settled in Egypt. However, when they became many, the Pharoah of the time who had not heard of Joseph, enslaved them (acording to the prophecy in Genesis) Remember Israel are a chosen nation. Whoever punished them would have faced God's judgement (either preordained or not) so Egypt had to face punishment ![]() I don't know about Pharoah self-destructing but if you remember the story about the widow who provided for Elijah. God actually told Elijah that he had commanded a widow in Sidon to feed him so the widow had no say about the matter. She was hypnotised, so to speak - the same way Pharoah was 'hypnotised' to keep on saying "NO"! |
Does this mean sin is sometimes justified and unpunished when they are being used as payback to someone else?
God Himself hardened Pharoah's heart so as to show the Israelites that He delivered them out of Egypt. It didn't stop God from still killing Pharoah though ![]() |
First of all, pls where is this passage?.
All you had to do was google Isaiah 4:1 |
What Does the Bible Say? • Husbands - love and sacrifice. • Wives - submit. What Does the Bible Say? • Wives - demonstrate godly character and quiet inner beauty. • Husbands - honor their wives and be kind and gentle. • Husands and wives are equal partners. What Does the Bible Say? • Marriage was designed for companionship and intimacy. |
at least you have a good heart, those silly men who batter thir wives should also see such too...it aint easy at all...witnessing it alone gives me the chill
Aren't men in Nigeria allowed in the delivery room ![]() |
tantan: but which is more important: Family or career?Family You'd have to be insane to put a career before your family. The kids would never forgive one when they're older ![]() |
You also need to investigate the family you are marrying into. In some families, ALL the men end up divorcing their wives or the husbands are layabouts who don't/won't work. Why on earth would you go and pick a man from there? Or a family where all the women are beautiful witches ![]() |
I know a lady (personally know this lady) who waited until after marriage. A white wedding with all the thrills etc. Anyway, on the wedding night, it was a no-show O as the man could not 'do'. The lady ran back to the pastor the next day to divorce them. The pastor said till death do you part so the lady quit the church ![]() |
Who is greater than Jehovah Lord Divine There is no one greater than Jehovah Lord Divine ![]() |
New Living Translation (©2007) In that day so few men will be left that seven women will fight for each man, saying, "Let us all marry you! We will provide our own food and clothing. Only let us take your name so we won't be mocked as old maids." During the final days calamity, so many men would fall in battle |
PHC WhiteBoi: White guys call each other Boys (usually collective). Especially in Ireland and some places of England.Boys is OK. Boi is not. Go figure ![]() |
Bondage ![]() |
omotee4u: I think it should be because Shina Peters publicly wished someone "speedest recover".LOL. I was in Nigeria at that time. He released another album based on that error - Grammar, Grammar, Grammar no be money ![]() |
Ol'girl, you need to be frank with him. Yeah, it'll hurt but he'll get over it. On no accounts must you let him cohabit with you |
But please is it possible for one to Have the Holy spirit (filled & Baptise), and not speak in tongues ? ?
I believe so, yes. |
honeyfave: I give honour to God for reviving my prayer life and revealiing the secret of my affliction through the power of dreams and visions. If you are prayerfully, your dreams will be divine. My experience made me to belief that THERE IS GOD INDEED AND THAT HEAVEN AND HELL ARE REAL.Praise God. My mother left some curses on my voicemail one time and called me to ask if I received her messages. I said I heard all her curses and I immediately prayed, "every curse pronounced by my mother, backfire, return to sender", she said, "Ah, don't send it back O, don't send it back O". If it's not serious, I would laff ![]() |
I wish I could see an angel - it'll be awesome ![]() |
I do not speak in tongues because I don't want to enforce it. When I eventually do, I want my tongue to take a life of it's own and just flow. I want to be able to control it i.e. stop it, but be unable to; then and only then will I accept it's from God. |
MacDaddy01: That it is right to beat children?Believe it or not, I do not hit my kids but I yell at them which makes them sob (so it's still discipline) ![]() |
It's also racist for a white man to call a black man/boy, "BOI" ![]() |
MacDaddy01: It will send you to bigger trouble in the future.Yes. How? ![]() |
gajike: Nairalanders Lets discuss this.I've read what you've written through TWICE and still don't get it ![]() |

http://www.gatewaytoafrica.com/featured/nigerian-power-privatisation-on-track.htm On Wednesday, the Nigerian government announced the five successful bidders for the country’s power generation plants. This is part of a $1bn sell-off of Nigeria’s thermal and hydropower generation facilities. Bidders for the power generation plants included consortiums from Nigeria, Britain, USA, China and Russia. The sale of one further generation company has been delayed. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan had promised to upgrade the countries power sector when he was elected in 2010, and everything seems to be on track. Nigeria needs to upgrade their electrical generation infrastructure to avoid power outages which are hampering growth. Currently many consumers are forced to rely on generators. South Africa a country with a third of the population produces more than ten times the amount of power as Nigeria. Upgrading Nigeria’s power generating industry could help the country to achieve double digit growth, the country’s economy is already increasing at around 6 per cent a year. Atedo Peterside, chairman of the technical committee on privatisation said “this should help unleash the long-term in private sector investment activity in the country generally”. The privatisation of state assets will include the sale of Nigeria’s power distribution network, which will be split between 11 new distribution companies. The preferred bidders for the distribution companies will be announced in mid-October. What does this mean? Is it good news for Nigeria/Nigerians ![]() |
Well I think what he did was highly irresponsible ![]() |
