In 1966, the ENTIRE Nigerian army officer corp was about 60% Igbo, while Yoruba couldn't even meet their own quota in the army.

One idiiotic leutenant "Small boy" from Oyo recounted how he entered battle with about 100 men; only about 9 returned alive. One loud weak soldier called Adekunle was defeated completely and was withdrawn by Gowon. Now his homeless nephew is running around Nairaland spreading fake stories and beating his amala chest. Mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!

When I came newly here, I was also shocked by some strange "methods" of communication from our fellow Igbo brothers towards one another. When I studied it more, I decided to go back and read about the civil war and the "sabo" factor. I have since become far wiser; I have ever since advised every Igbo to go and read about WHY Biafra failed, and why Ojukwu is actually a legend. His greatest achievement was not being killed by his fellow Igbo people.
It is painful, but true.

Now, I will comment of the Eze Nri action.

Like others have already said, the Eze Nri is entitled to his opinion. Others can decide to second him, or even anoint another. It is a free world and he enjoys free speech in Nigeria. I endorse Uwazuruike. He has earned my respect and loyalty. He will need to upgrade himself though.
My only advise is that we think through our utterances here.

The other fact is that if Gowon did not create Rivers state, and Mamman Nasir carve out Igbo lands into "Rivers state", abandoned property would never have happened. These are facts too.
So, like I said before, there are Igbos in the North, and there are also those masquerading as Igbo (oh I know, lol ) trying to create division in Eastern Nigeria to make is easier for the North to exploit.
We the youth of Igboland are now more aware and savvier politically. That is why Jonathan is there now, and he will continue to be there until Northern Nigeria drops the born to rule mentality.

There are still East, Mid-west, West and North.

I accept Uwazuruike based on his passion and commitment.  
However, he is still RAW, and needs formal training in "Strategic studies", i.e. political and military/security training. I don't care how he obtains them, HE NEEDS THEM.

He  needs officer level training. His non-violence philosophy is good, but it MAY NOT serve Ndigbo well in the unfolding scenario in Nigeria.  I wouldn't want a crippled leader, who would be held hostage by his lack of military training, and continue to preach non-violence when others are killing us and taking over our land. I want someone who can go toe to toe with leaders of other regions in Nigeria. Ojukwu's shoe is HUGE, but Uwazuruike is still young enough to "Upgrade" into Ojukwu's shoes. Yes he can do it!

Israel may be smaller in size than Nigeria, but I doubt that Nigeria can withstand Israel militarily.

After the Nigerian civil war, my family were able to reclaim their houses in the North. However, if you look throughout this thread, no so called "Niger deltan" mentioned anything about Igbo.

About the abandoned property saga, with all due respect, you left the MAIN reason why the Ikwerre was able to steal their fellow Eastern Nigerians' properties and got away with it. Do you think they could have done so unaided? Guess who aided and abetted that grande theft? THE NORTH OF COURSE!  

You see, when I say that Igbo and N'delta are inseparable, I mean every word of it because a huge chunk of Niger delta is Igboland, and Core Northerners know that fact, but it is not in their interest to allow such info out, hence they carved huge chunks of Igbo oil bearing lands into "SS", to achieve the same thing you are giving them on a platter -division and conquest of Eastern Nigeria.

Every student of Nigeria's REALITY politics would know that there is NO SOUTH SOUTH. If a war ensues in Nigeria today, it would be evident to even children. The British who created North, East and West Nigeria were more honest to us than the Nigerians who created geopolitical zones and states.

So, like I told you, if you love Kano (and there are a lot of Igbos who would rather be killed and buried in Kano due to reasons some of us would never understand, than settle anywhere in southern Nigeria), by all means stay there; but stop trying to divide Eastern Nigeria for easier conquest by your hosts (Hausa/Fulani). Like I stated earlier, Israel has a very simple goal as a nation: EXISTENCE.

She has been fighting non-stop to be allowed to exist, since 1948. That much is pretty clear to all.
The other clear thing is that, Israel (bearing in mind its enormous military power) is a very self restrained country.
I have A LOT OF RESPECT for her just because of that, especially in light of constant Arab provocation and aggression.
Some other country with the type of Israel's military, would have since colonized the entire middle east. Israel simply fights to defend only these areas that allow her to exist.

Now, about their African agenda, she has every right to map out the continent and figure out how to relate with each component part of Africa. I have not seen them killing people in Africa, on the contrary, I have seen Muslim Africans killing African Christians in their millions; from Biafra to Southern Sudan.

Finally, I would trust America and Israel one million times BEFORE I can ever trust Iran and China in Africa and over African affairs. Just my humble opinion. The former two are open to some extent, while the latter two are completely CLOSED to scrutiny.

I would be a fool to reject Israel's "mapping" of Biafra, only to accept Iran's mapping of Nigeria.  

Like I said before, Israel was a worthy ally of Biafra when others deserted us (Biafrans). Everything else is irrelevant.
