If you are a christian do both. The only legal one is the one you do through the courts.

FamilyRe: Domestic Violence by Outstrip(f): 4:40pm On Feb 09, 2012
I will post this on my facebook wall as for the family they should hide their heads in shame. A man that beats his wife that is pregnant did not start today. i think there is a curse woven into the culture that says peoples brain should stop actively working until a human being is dead. Unfortunately this poor woman is not the first and she will not be the last. All those people that are appealing to the police should be arrested for obstructing an investigation. maybe when they see that they can end up in jail they will run and hide . Elders my ass
FamilyRe: Is It Right To Abandon Ur Wife Alone With D Baby After Childbirth? by Outstrip(f): 4:26pm On Feb 09, 2012
Every couple is different. I tried to push my husband out of the way a little when I had the first one. Not that he was not good enough I think I felt that I could just do it better. Eventually we fell into a routine. He never left the room. In fact I was the one that left initially so I could focus on my baby and that was very unfair on my part. The man is simply talking because the baby is not here yet. Once the baby gets here all that nonsense will change. The woman might feel like the man is a nuisance by being there and he might end up being the one that wants to stay and help with the baby. They will have to figure out what will work for them. There is no one rule

FamilyRe: How Long Is Too Long For An Inlaw To Stay? by Outstrip(f): 4:07pm On Feb 08, 2012
I am starting to not believe these stories. I know in laws can be crazy but this is extreme. I grew up in Nigeria for the most part and this never happened. There is more to this story. How can you say that you had to get dstv in every room so that your in laws who you want out will feel comfortable or that someone left her matrimonial home because her husband asked her sister to leave. It sounds like either you people are allowing the behavior or some of it is just not true. Buying food and hiding it in the bedroom so that someone does nto eat it is ridiculous. Your wife is tripping for even reducing herself to that. Why can you not tell them not to eat it and if they cannot follow your rules they have to leave and go somewhere were there are no rules.
RomanceRe: When A Mother Decided To Find A Wife For Her Son. by Outstrip(f): 3:59pm On Feb 08, 2012
It's obvious he has a deep sense of respect for his mom! He doesnt want to lose his mother's support over a wife issue and he doesnt want her to choose for him either! Telling her point blank and to the face "to go play with her husband" is not only rude, but insulting. Some guys are very close to their mothers and from personal experience, mothers do this out of love and are scared most times that they will lose their beloved son to a foreign lady, therefore, they endeavor to put up a diligent search of a wife for their son. A woman they - sometimes erroneously- believe is the "best" for their son. If you dont handle such matters with care, you'll lose your mothers affection and later in life, when you have a serious misunderstanding with the wife you chose, the wife you mother suggested comes to mind and you cant but wonder if you actually made a good choice of wife! You would have actually eliminated such feelings if in actuality, you checked out the girl mumsy suggested in the first place! Mind you, mothers too make a good choice, and they are by far, more experienced than us in matters of marriage. Even after marriage, we still go to them for advice, so i dont see it wrong if they suggest a wife for you. It's just that most times, we fit don go promise one kele say we go marry am, before momsy go scatter the runs. So the actual dilemma is how you will renege on a promise made, and your sense of pride. Most people believe they are old enough to make decisions. While that might be the case, i believe they should also be old enough to accept suggestions and weigh issues critically, from a different point of view. So in other to avoid "unnecessary" conflict, agree with her to later disagree!  wink
It doesn't have anything to do with respect for his mother. Have you thought about the embarassment for the girl. we are not talking about the US here were people are not desperate to marry. Imagine someones mother finds a "wife" for him. He leads both mother and girl on. Both families start to call each other in laws and then he does not want the relationship anymore. I just think it is selfish. His mom is still a human being and should learn to understand that no is no. There is nothing diplomatic about hurting someone all the name of keeping mom happy.

So he should lead the girl on just to please the mother. How about telling his mom to go play with her husband so he can find his own wife.
FamilyRe: How Long Is Too Long For An Inlaw To Stay? by Outstrip(f): 4:49am On Feb 08, 2012
Na wa oh. Look at a husband reduced to counting the numbe rof indomie packets that his inlaw is eating. Why do you have grown ass people living in your home in the first place? These days I am not a morning person and I know I will be irritated if someone turned on my tv at 6:30 in the morning or maybe take it off the weather channel were I usually have it ON A DAILY BASIS FOR MONTHS. LOL. That will be serious. I am pretty sure that your wife will not pu tup with that from your people. I know I will not put up with that andneither would my husband

Okay I just remembered something LOL. This guy I know said that he used to date this girl that sucks her thumb. EVEN DURING SEX. LOL. I am still trying to play it in my mind. He said sometimes she would take it out and moan but then she would put it right back LOL. I was speechless o. I thought I had heard everything I could hear. Everybody was laughing but I was schocked. When he was asked if he stopped he said why? The mumu kept going back for more LOL
FamilyRe: How Often Should Married Couples Get Intimate? by Outstrip(f): 5:21pm On Feb 07, 2012
I have never heard of a woman with a man eating her right crying out for help because it was just so bad it was unbearable. Rollseyes. If your spouse hates sex then half the problem is yours especially if she is not getting it outside of the marriage

RomanceRe: The Dilemma Of An Acute Stutterer In Love by Outstrip(f): 6:35pm On Feb 06, 2012
If you can keep the fact that you are financially stable from her for a while that will be better for you. I know the way the average Nigerian thinks so I would advice that you make sure whomever you are dating is dating you for you. Many families will even ask their daughters not to marry you until they find out about your money. Be careful. In the end you will find love but don't rush it
