How do you spend 20 years in the UK and have only 20 bucks. Okay I guess it happens because my cousin was telling me how a medical doctor sat in living room and was crying because he had spend his whole life in the UK as a medical doctor and had nothing to show for it. I simply told her that her friend had serious problems. I don't understand how a medical doctor can retire with not a penny saved. Not even a piece of land to his name.
Family › Re: Is There A Need To Validate A Woman's Fertility By Impregnating Her B4 Marriage? by Outstrip(f): 6:30pm On Jun 03, 2010
Shine my eyes for what. Nobody marries to have babies. That is not what marriage is for. Anyway to each their own. Somehow people tend to end up with what they allow so why should I worry about someone elses decision. The fact is that any woman who married you when you make such a request is simply desperate. No real man wants to marry a desperate woman. Period

4llerbuntu:
why are all u pple getting your knickers in a twist? it works both ways now.

as a woman do you want to get married to a man who cannot impregnate you?

so whats sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander!!!! unless of course as usual, there is a ulterior motive, or you are just plain scared the past may catch up. simples
You obviously read the question but did not understand it. Comprehension is the issue here obviously. Nobody asked if you want to marry an impotent man or an infertile woman. The question is IS THERE A NEED TO VALIDATE A WOMAN"S FERTILITY BY IMPREGNATING HER B4 MARRIAGE. The other thing is that you are obviously just assumed that a woman who cannot give birth had to have been promiscuous. Please what science classes did you take and what grade did you get in those classes. Just curious to know so that I don't judge you to harshly

Not even one midwest state in that article. It's like "Bendel" does not exists. Anyway I don't blame them. All the people in charge in Edo/Delta know is to be first class thieves and experts in fighting each other with cutlasses. Can't even be advocates for themselves
Fashion › Re: What Do I Wear For My Son's 1st Birthday Party by Outstrip(f): 1:35am On Jun 03, 2010
It depends on the theme. Is it going to be outside or in the house? Is it going to be at a playhouse outside of the homehuh? It depends. I typically do my kids birthdays at playhouses but I always wear a simple dress and I have always worn heels since I mostly sit and watch the kids have fun

You people do not know him or his family. For him to say he is afraid of his family should make you wonder. Is it possible to not tell them exactly when you will be coming and then stay in Lagos and maybe fly your parents to Lagos to see you. My mom has a good friend in Atlanta who never steps foot in Benin when she goes to Nigeria. She stays in Lagos. She has reason to be afraid of what her family can plan for her. We have heard horror stories. I say go with your gut. Just don't let fear stop you from going back home. Nigeria is very big and you can come and go without certain people not even knowing you came. Go with God.

Family › Re: What Are The True Virtues For A Successful Marriage? by Outstrip(f): 2:24pm On Jun 01, 2010
Mutual respect. If there is anything you do not want done to you then do not do it to your spouse. Do not take each other for granted. There is nothing like woman's work or man's work. If your husband is having a hectic month at work and the grass needs mowing then get the mower out there and mow (I will personally just pay someone to do it LOL). If your wife does not feel like cooking dinner then you cook it or round up your wife and kids and go eat out. Marriage is give and take not TAKE TAKE TAKE. Selfishness has no place in a marriage. It is not about YOU. It is about the family unit

Not in America. America makes its own rules, whether right or wrong. And people still copy. tongue

I think spelling it that way uses unnecessary words anyway, for the way it's pronounced.
ANd that's the main difference. America likes to update everything but the English want to keep everything old including their queen and their bad teeth grin

However people may feel about him being homosexual, the guy is speaking the truth. As usual in Nigerian culture, we rush to deny the elephant in the room.

Nigerian culture in general DOES treat women as second class citizens along with young people. The reason why Nigeria is in this mess is because noone dares stand up to the elder people who are doing the country wrong.

I remember the rubbish some people here were spewing because some Nigerians in the Uk decided to show Obasanjo the disgust they had for him. They ran to his defence and all in the name of him being an "elder".

This guy is gay and he is probably sleeping with a concenting adult (even though I dont agree with it), meanwhile one of our senators has married and may have already slept with a thirteen year old girl, and people have the cheek to say Kele has misplaced priorities, lol
This is the problem I have with people like you. You just come into a thread and start making too much sense. Stop making sense doggone it. You sense maker

I am still wondering why he was arrested for abandoning a movie set. The one in Katsina were they said they beat him up the people that were bad mouthing him also admitted that they broke the contract and then forced him to act at gun point. I think Jim Ike came out and denied that ever happening as a matter of fact.

All my cousin's helpers are over 18 so it works for some if you can find someone. Ask someone from your village. I am sure that there is someone with nothing to do in your village and is hoping to come to the city so someone can sponsor her in a trade or something. Also I have a friend who went back to Nigeria to work for a bank so she is very busy but she has only used young ladies from togo and cotonou

Nairaland itself is just a freaking reflection of Nigeria. Seun you really should be ashamed of yourself. Why was the word P>E>D>O>P>H>I>L>E chaged to cradle robber and even R<A<P<E gets changed to something else. This is how we take something dirty and nasty and try to clean it up and serve it to people. This would never fly anywhere else but in a Nigeria organized place. Those words should not be replaced. Stop romanticizing r--a--p--e and p--e--d--o--p--h--i--l--i--a

This is bigger than this foolish woman and the pedophile yerima. I just read that they came in a government vehicle. This is a Nigeria problem. Nigeria is simply a shit hole. How can a vehicle belonging to the federal government of nigeria be used to bus people promoting pedophilia and child rape. WTF. Is everybody going crazy?

You need to cut the umbillical cord. You are experiencing something Nigerians refer to as "see finish". I don't see it getting better because even when you parents are no longer there your brother will simply be very busy running the company into the ground. Leave home and do your own thing. Act like you do not have parents that can help.

I think she really likes you but she still feels a sense of responsibility to her other relationship. She has already cheated on the guy anyway so she needs to make up her mind if it is you or the guy. What are your intentions for her though should she choose you. Maybe she is indecisive because she likes you but she is not sure if you are looking for a commitment

I am not saying that the man is justified. Please read what I posted. There is absolutely no excuse for his behavior. NONE. I cannot stress it enough. What I meant was that her mother might have called to check and see how things are going or simply be emotionally supportive in what was obviously a difficult time. I also pointed out that she probably did but the poster did not say. I don't know what went on there. I know though that when every other thing goes haywire in a relationship the small things become a big deal such as the woman now automatically being responsible for the care of a woman that has her own children that are alive and well.
