How can you keave out Michael Ezuruonye. Rita and Stella Damasus are delta not igbo. Francis Duru is so underrated. He is such a good actor. Igbos rule Nollywood though so it will be easy to make a list of igbo actors.
Why not top Bini actors/actresses LOL. I bet there are none

They say time will heal all wounds. Was your sister your only sibling? Try to reduce the amount of time you spend alone. Don't go looking for a lover to end your pain. It will not help. Get involved in things. Feel your free time with activities preferably outside the home. When you love someone it is almost impossible to forget them when they walk away not to talk of one dying. I know it is hard but you need to work harder on not dwelling on the painful part of it. I hope I have helped you in some way. If you want someone to talk to then I can send you my yahoo ID so we can chat.

Old men prey on these fass assed girls,
Of course and that is why we have parents to keep things in check. If our parents did not do that we all would have been pregnant at age 11 by some older guy that our parents trust.

Actually you should mind your business and get some sense. You have already admitted that if she is raped she would have caused it. Her mother should really be protecting her from rumor mongers like you. You went from following him with her eyes to dressing like a LovePeddler. That poor child has no chance at leaving a normal life as far as you have access to her

I agree little girls do have crushes for older people, but have you seen an average naija 14yr old girl?
The size of their milk industry alone can bring down the celibacy of a monk!
I think the mum is trying to protect the daughter and the man.
No she is not. Why is the neighborhood talking about it then. She has made it 100 times worse for the kid to the point that someone has come her on Nairaland saying that the girl is asking to be raped

Are you guys in Nigeria? Sorry I am wary of Nigerian Doctors. They can look in someones eyes and diagnose arthritis. Get a second and third opinion. None of what you said above equals not being able to conceive. Are you marrying her just to make babies. At the end of the day don't make her life miserable. If you are that scared then just leave the poor woman alone for someone who will walk with her through the process and not make her feel sub human because she might have issues conceiving

I don't get the logic. It is right for the girl to have a crush on the old man and follow him everywhere with her eyes . But if things suddenly get ugly the man is to blame.

Chased out of the house by the woman of course , I think
Wow. Did I read your mind or what? You have basically admitted what I said that if the man rapes her then she somehow caused it? I had a crush on one of my dads friends and I followed him everywhere. He knew I was a child and found it amusing. He NEVER touched me. I had a crush on a pastor in our church. My sisters used to tease me all the time. Whenever we were at church MY EYES would follow him everywhere. It was Pastor Nosa this and Pastor Nosa that. In fact when he traveled overseas he bought me gifts and everybody laughed.

Someone asked if her father is around and it turns out he is not. The poor child might simply be looking for a father figure. Please you people should educate yourself. I am sure her mother calls her an ashewo on a daily basis and all of you probably chime in and spread rumors about her. Before you know it men in the neighborhood that have bad intentions and hear the story will look for her to waylay her.
Family › Re: Her 14 Year Old Daughter Is Stalking A 50 Year Old Man by Outstrip(f): 3:24am On May 15, 2010
Please leave that child alone. It is certainly not unusual for girls to have crushes on older people. It is natural and it usually does not go beyond that. You people's behavior has probably put thoughts in her head and also humiliated her for no apparent reason. Next thing we know now some guy will try to rape her and all of you will say she enticed him.

Let me assume that the OP is yoruba because they like to "bend" LOL. How can you try to justify the anger it seems to bring from the mother in law. The mother in law is being abusive. She is not even being subtle. When you have spent your whole life kneeling as a sign of respect how can you then switch overnight. For someone to be offended by someones show of respect means that person just has a mean spirit. I get uncomfortable when little kids kneel to greet me and I tell them that it is not nesassary but being upset because of it is just plain mean. I am all for trying to win them over but not to the point of allowing abusive behavior. It is ungodly and inhumane. Enough of all the stuff about trying to understand that she is from a different tribe.

I guess women need to start living their lives and not carry the idea of marriage as a do or die issue. When you are desperate you will make desperate choices.

Family › Re: .......... by Outstrip(f): 2:41pm On May 14, 2010
Your husband is the issue here. When she told you not to sit by your husband what stopped you from saying no. When she changed the plans what stopped your husband from calling her out on it. I know it is not easy but people with personalities like your mother in law have pretty much always done what they wanted to do. If you want it different for you then you have to say something about it. It might not even occur to her that she is being a nuisance. When you marry your in laws it is not a literal marriage. Te only person you are literally married to is your husband unless of course you decide to ignore the portion of your Bible. Love your in laws but don't let them dictate what happens in your marriage.

I don't think that he is complaining about his wife not being educated. He is just saying that the situation has changed but his wife is not willing to change with the situation. I have seen this a lot and usually I can say that the husbands are just as much to blame. In this case though unlike other cases I know he has actually put money into helping her run a business and he says it has all failed.

@ the poster you simply have to let your wife know that you need her. This is not a matter of please can youhuhhuh It is her responsibility as a wife and a mother. May be when you have her start the process of making the kids switch their schools she will wake up. The other thing you said was that she has helped before as a supervisor at a previous business. Why don't you start a business and hire a manager and since your wife is not good at day to day running then she can supervise the manager and the whole business. If it her only job then that will decrease the chance of workers fleecing you guys which of course makes you more money in the long run

I was hoping someone would say it but no one is. Your father needs to respect himself. No one has ever stood up to him. Maybe you people need to sacrifice for your mother the way she sacrificed for you guys. Take her away from there and leave your father alone by himself. You guys do not even need to communicate with him. You guys have accepted his behavior including your mom that is why he still behaves this way at his age. Maybe after a while he will learn that he has no children or wife if he behaves so badly. WTF

Khloe does not look like a man. She is prettier than the average chic walking the street. Just because she is somewhat of a tomboy and is not petite as her sisters does not make her look like a man. Abeg let us see the pictures of people saying this girl is manly. I felt so sorry for her on one episode when she talked about even her mother treating her differently because she has always looked different. She is by no means ugly or even manly. I can bet you that more men would pick her up compared to most people
