Where they getting married or something. I think she broke his heart. All this stuff about the car is just to cover up how he feels |
Even though it is hard to understand it could be possible that the grandson does not live there and it escaped her mind that he was spending the night ![]() ![]() ![]() |
don't mean to divert this thread but hawizy speak english. You are better off typing pidgin english than that thing you did there |
Here we go again |
in the freezer |
I did not say he should go free. I said he should be treated like a normal criminal. |
Good counsel is the key. I just hope that it is someone who will not be swayed by the money that her husband might be able to bribe him or her away with |
Useless and nonsense. The governor and I use the term loosely might not be able to dethrone him but due process has to be followed and the man has to be treated like any other person that viciously attacks any other person. How is this different from Yerima raping a child and going free because the law he follows is sharia. Nigeria is a bleeping joke. |
if eto buys a watch of that amount for me, i'd throw it back to him. the money is better. better he should have gone to their market place and showered the children and old women with the 1.3 million dollars. that will be a landmark day, they will never forget that day and will forever reference other days to it. like " oby was born 32 days after eto showered dollars at so and so market" whatever
I agree but keep in mind that those watches were probably made for less that $2000.00. They retail for 29,000.00. It makes sense when you think of it that way. People will talk about the watches and it will be plastered on the net. Nobody with any sense will give out $29000.00 watches to people who probably have never made that much money in their whole life combined |
Bialegend:Very Nice. Hope he can sell them at that price though. Looks like it is worth it. Excellent quality from the pictures |
Bialegend:Makes perfect sense. LOL. Everything else is pretty much nonsense. This makes sense. Why not? |
eldee:Sorry I am more of a practical person |
eldee:Yeah I am sure after banging whatever they drag into the hotel room they would have accomplished something important |
dayokanu:I give up |
Abeg what sort of motivation. Priorities. Priorities. Priorities. If he had given them the cash to improve their lives that would have made more sense. A watch? For what? So that five years down the road when some of them might not have money for other things they can look at their $29,000 personalized watch to remind them that it is time to eat but there is no money to buy food. I tire , |
stupidest thing I ever heard |
It really will not be surprising if he is but I don't think there is any proof of it |
lol |
According to the will he cannot give it to charity. He can choose to just not touch it. If the government. It cannot be forced on him. |
dayokanu:This is exactly my point. You have just proved it. How can you compare an infidelity to a useless old man that sleeps around and claims he can cure HIV by taking a shower. Keeps women in his house and calls them wives all in the name of tradition. Flaunts promiscuity in a country were people are dying of AIDS at an alarming rate. You come here and you want to compare Bill Clinton and John Edwards to that ![]() Do you even see the difference. Both were ASHAMED of what they did. Their culture frowns on it. Both of them lied about it to save face and of course to try to save their careers. As of now John Edwards has to lie low. maybe in another 5 or 10 years he might try again. Is this the same situation here? This is my issue. Africans excuse away bad behavior. Even when John Edwards LovePeddler came on TV and called him "Johnny" there was an uproar because "how dare she sound so familiar" with another woman's husband. Where is our sense of morality? There is none. There is none because there is tradition to excuse away any bad decision and bad behavior. Why should you even say about your bad behavior "afterall someone else did it too", I tire |
It just seems that when a lot of evil against women is done in our land a woman is usually in the middle of it. For example the Oba that just attempted to kill his wife came with another wife to do his deed. We have ekaette trying so hard to pass a bill to persecute women when in that same country we have women being forced into prostitution just so they can keep a job. Female circumcision is usually done by women and as you can see with yerima it was woman who matched in his defense. I don't know what it is or if it is just conditioning. |
If you ask me I would say the women are even worse |
spikedcylinder:My dear it doesn't matter o. In Nigeria, all cases are adjourned and some even for 10 years or more. It is tradition. The judges spend a whole year in "judge school" to learn how to adjourn cases |
davidif:Infidelity is not even the issue here. zuma is a promiscuous old fool but that is besides the point. He has a position of leadership and since in africa we reward irresponsibility and celebrate destructive behavior in the name of culture and tradition, we get this mess in a large number of families. You want to see why african leaders behave the way they do? Do you want to know why African always seems to have a hard time getting everything right even when everything is there to get it right? Just look at the state of African families. Look at it with a truthful and open heart. Look at the way they are set up and run. |
spikedcylinder:LMAO |
Classic example of why black africa is in confusion. I cannot stand zuma. |
You will be alright Aisha and one day you will look back and smile. You will even say thank God that you went through it. These things prepare you for tomorrow. I used to hate when people say that but in a way it is true. You will realize that this is true. It is well my sister |
honeric01:So whose mind is dirty now ![]() |
So you think because you can type you have now accomplished something. It does not even matter whether he cheated or not. It has nothing to do with it. It might add icing on the cake but it is not even important. The man is the one asking for a divorce after being married to her since 1987. He wants to divorce her, take the child and move on with his new wife. God will simply punish him and every single man that thinks like him. There is no way that kind of ignorance and wickedness can stand. The sad part is that it does not seem abnormal to any of you. It is just obvious that wickedness and maliciousness if woven into the fabric of Nigerian culture. The man himself is not the brightest person and I think when you are so consumed with your own ignorance you fail to even recognize common sense. How can you say that there is property and it is owed solely by you when you have been married for over 20 years. Only in Nigeria will someone dare say a thing like that. In any other place you would be scared to say that because it will be obvious to all that you are simply a malicious and evil person. In Nigeria someone says it and people come out and cheer him on. For real at some point you have to pretend that you have shame even if you do not feel it |
