Simply differences that are irreconcilable. cheesy
LOL. For real though. How else can it be explained. Problems that could not be solved. It could mean anything really

This is not something new. No offense but I think you grew up that way. I don't want to get all up in your business but more than likely the wives in your family are not treated well.

Buffoons. Why is he not in jail. This is beyond ridiculous. There is enough shame here for them all to kill themselves. The fact that nobody has the balls to just come out and say this man should not be walking free is beyond me. ughhhhhhhh. Fccking losers
oh well knowing how inadequately equipped many of our hospitals are in emergency delivery, it is no surprising they would do such just incase cause sometimes sh*** happens. i'd involuntary donate blood than to hear stories at that dire moment
Then they should do it the proper way. Organize a blood drive or pay people to donate if you do not come up with enough supply. This method is basically blackmail. Nobody in their right mind will say no when their loved ones are being left with these people.

My sister just ordered hers from a guy here in the US. After you order he sends it the order to Nigeria for weaving. I know they do it a some village somewhere close to Ibadan. That's your neck of the woods abi Chaircover.

Do these men understand that there are areas you do not go when it comes to sex. The worst part is him justifying it with "she looked advanced". Lawd have mercy

i don't agree with you, his father claimed to have called american embassy to inform them as soon as he noticed his son's extremism but they failed to put him on "no fly " list so it's the american embassy's negligence not his father. how many fathers will do what he did.
So what if he called the embassy. If he really cared about his son he would have done something long before his son got into trouble. What else could he have done? I am sure he has business contacts overseas and did not want his son's reputation to mess with his money so he ran and "told" on his son. He should get a slap in the face not a pat on the back

My dad is from Edo state and my mom is igbo but are still married. I don't want to say do or don't because it would reduce this whole thing to stereotypes. Culturally though most ethnic groups in Edo state are very anti women empowerment. If he is God fearing, has a good heart, respects the women in his family, enlightened, has progressive views about life etc then he might be the one.
Romance › Re: Do All Married Men Have To Cheat. by Outstrip(f): 1:54pm On Apr 13, 2010
Please don't make your husband pay for your father's lack of control. It seems like you have already sentenced your husband when he has not committed a crime. Not all men are like that. Is it likely that a man will cheat? I think that it is likely that anybody will cheat. 50, 60, 70 years together? It is very likely in my opinion that a man or the woman will bend or break their vows at one point or the other

To have gone through all of this at only 21 cry

In addition to Sissys advise, its time for the girls family to wake up and do something about this. She is too young to be carrying this burden on her own.

One thing I noticed in the story was the mans age. Even at 35, eyebrows should have been raised by the family when he approached their 21 year old. Most men at that age would have had quite a colourful past so it was up to them to investigate properly before letting their daughter go.

At 35, the man is old enough to be her father.
I wanted to say the same but I was feeling so sad for the woman. I agree. I feel the parents carry some of the blame here and I hope they have stepped up now to make sure the girl is safe from this animal

If she is back with this abusive boyfriend I will not be surprised if he stood over her and told her to send you that text and also make the phone calls just to satisfy him. Count yourself lucky and walk away from it. She is not ready to leave her abuser and I believe he crazy enough to come after you
Family › Re: To Get Me a Job, My Fiancee Told Her Boss I'm Her Brother by Outstrip(f): 2:35pm On Apr 12, 2010
I have to respectfully disagree with hot-angel. It just does not make sense that she is cheating with the boss but then brings in her fiance so that he can monitor her at all times. If anything I would say she has nothing to hide. He would most likely had not got the job had she said he was her husband/fiance. No point telling the man that his fiance is most likely cheating when it just does not make sense and it's likely not true. It is not logical that she would be cheating but then bring him in the picture unless she does not care about the relationship. If she does not care about the relationship she will not even get him the job. Who wants that drama?

I know another Nigerian woman who has full blown AIDS now. She got it from her ex husband. Some people are just plain evil. The way this woman found out was just heart breaking. I don't know what to say to your friend at this point but to be strong and not see this as a death sentence. I am wondering if she did not get any guidance from anyone about marrying a 35 year old man when she is only 21. Hind sight is always 20-20 I guess. God is her strength

First of all you are the only one that has said that Obama is more glorious than your president. No one here has said it. Also please wherever did you get the idea that Obama sat down with the father and "discussed" with him.
Politics › Re: Jonathan And Muttalab Meet ! by Outstrip(f): 4:09pm On Apr 09, 2010
Meldrick:
The son is a terrorist and that doesn't make the father a terrorist. Goodluck must gather the neccesary information needed so as not to look foolish in front of Obama when questions relating to AbdulMutallab pop up.
Still makes no sense. Number 1 if Goodluck wants to be briefed about what happens the last person he should speak to about it is the boys father. He should talk to his own people who investigated the case and hopefully were also working with the FBI. That makes more sense. Secondly, if the man was going to see Mr Goodluck then the media should not break the news like they were going to have a cup of tea together. It should be made clear that the President is not a sympathizer but that the Father requested a meeting and the President is granting it. There is no necessary info needed from the Father that the President can use to do anything official otherwise he risks looking foolish
Politics › Re: Jonathan And Muttalab Meet ! by Outstrip(f): 3:48pm On Apr 09, 2010
I don't see how this makes sense. Why does he even want to give the idea that he is rubbing shoulders with the father of a terrorist. I don't see how that is a positive thing.
