I am not talking of strangers living in ikwerre land speaking ibo....I am talking about the pure ikwerre man and his language itself, it is not ibo and will not even be understood by any ibo person, the reverse is also the case, unlike the other ethnic groups I mentioned that speak total ibo language.
Ikwerre used to be said to be ibo before because then they were one big LGA together with the ibo speaking ethnic group Etche and Omuma, it was known as Ikwerre/Etche LGA, but after Etche and Omuma was separated, we now had ikwerre LGA, Etche LGA, and Omuma LGA, this took away the ibo speaking groups from ikwerre. What we have now as the present day ikwerre does not speak and can only barely understand ibo.

But I'm open to learning from you, if you can mention the ikwerre that speak ibo. Not strangers residing in ikwerre.

This thread is about Saraki (a fine politician in my opinion).

I would have loved Saraki to be the PDP candidate but the power brokers will not likely to support him and he doesn't have the political clout that you are ascribing to him partly because of his identity crisis.

Most Northerners consider Saraki and Ilorin people as Yorubas and will not support them to take Northern slot.
Ironically, there are many Ilorin people (partly of DISTANT Fulani ancestries) who are trying to be more Northern than Northerners.
The South equally won't like them to take the Southern slots.

If Saraki were to come from Oyo, Osun, Kebbi or Sokoto States, he will have greater clouts than this.


In my candid opinions, at certain times of national crisis fuelled by ethnic tensions, people like Saraki with multiple ethnic ancestries or minorities like GEJ are needed to serve as bridge builders and mend fences because there are not likely to promote ethnic hegemony that cause further tensions.

In a democracy, every citizen including Tinubu has a right to run for the presidency.

It's better for those who hate Tinubu to rally round behind a formidable candidate that can defeat him rather than asking that he mustn't run for the presidency.

I am far more emotionally and chronologically matured than joining the bandwagon of hating politicians because I don't like their style of politiking.
Now let me explain some of my stands on Odumakin's vituperations against Tinubu to you

1) Odumakin claimed that Tinubu was over 80years in 2016. Was Odumakin there when he was born? Can he proved this insinuation?

2) Odumakin even referred to a picture of Tinubu in 1974 at the Palace of the Shoun and was saying emphatically that he couldn't be 22 years then because he saw a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of beer in his front.
This is very pretty. It's not about good governance or even morality.

3) Odumakin claimed that Gov Gboyega Oyetola is the son of the immediate elder sister of Tinubu. Can he proved this? This is just pure speculation but he was banding it around as the gospel truth as if he was the father of Oyetola.

4) Finally Tinubu never bothered to reply him in all these vituperations.

If you are abusing someone ahead of you but the person ignores you, it's better that you stop but if you continue, it portray you as being unnecessarily envious of him
