I think you are getting this wrong. Kperogi didn't malign the yoruba tribe. He only pointed out that his SMMs are from yoruba and El rufai is constantly wooing them and spending heavily on them so as not to turn the heat on him. He knows that the war he is waging on Nigerians will be easier won if he gets yorubas (either some or most) on his side first... and to some extent he is winning it.

El-Rufai is a very brilliant man. He finished secondary school in 1976 and passed WAEC Sch cert in Division-1, graduated with First Class honours and did very well in his post-graduate studies abroad.

He excelled in private practice as a Quantity Surveyor before joining Politics.


The Stereotype that any Northern that excel in any field in Nigeria is able to excel because of the quota system is very wrong.

My supervisors and Examiners at Post-Graduate levels were Northerners from ABU and they are gurus in their fields.

It's well documented that in Southern Nigeria, the two most developed and strongest pre-colonial States were Oyo Empire and the Bini Empire.

There was no Igbo Empire. As a matter of fact, the village was the highest political sophistication, east of the Niger.

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an established and well defined index of measuring development.

It has been used to measure the development of Nigeria and States within Nigeria, so it's better to compare States based on the HDI ranking.

Showing pictures of selected best 1-5 roads in a State and comparing it with the worst often old pictures of another State is not an acceptable unbiased way of comparing development among States. It's just pure childish tool of tribal bigots.
