MelesZenawi: You don't know the meaning of slaves.
And the thread says it all
Miyetti Allah ( master) says he will be at the meeting of their slaves...
That's just the meaning , so since the master is coming just prepare for them. Public Hearings are held for ALL members of the public to voice their opinions about a bill before it's passed by the legislature. That's part of democratic government all over the world. It is better for you to go back to your buying and selling instead of dabbling into political discussion that is obviously above your level of intelligence, education and exposure. |

That is to say the Masters ( Caliphate) must be around before the servants will hold their meeting. Most people don't know that everybody have four versions of themselves;
1) The known self: This represent that aspect of you that is known to everyone and yourself.
2) The blind self: This refers to the parts of your life that is known to others but you may not know or be aware of e.g your weakness, total appearance, early life etc
3) The Unknown self: This represent the parts of our lives that we or other people don't even know.
It takes supernatural powers or certain advanced medical investigations to unlock this parts of our lives e.g our future/destinies.
4) The Hidden self: This represent our innermost world e.g our secrets including all the things we do when we are alone and we don't want others to get involved or know about. We get irritated and insecured when other intrude into this parts of our lives.
Our most trusted friends and/family members may become shocked or even offended if they manage to stumble upon this aspect of our lives. |

Before you say jack it's in ss then MB, a party first with an ideaology then it can get the right sensible structures and people to parliament This is good but it also have it's challenges both legal and extra-legal challenges. 1) Once IPOB members get elected, they too will face the same problems currently being faced by our political leaders. 2) Fighting for Biafrans and having good experience about governance with track records of achievements to deliver aren't exactly the same thing. E.g How will an IPOB Governor clean up the mess in Aba? How will IPOB Governor get enough funds within four years to tarr several kilometers of roads with covered concrete drainages, pedestrian walkways and still be able to pay good salaries on time? Does IPOB have any magic wands to develop the S/East? All these will show their limitations and the allures about being the 'defenders of the Igbos' will fizzle out |

Politics › Re: Supreme Court Judgment On Bayelsa Contravene Electoral Law - Photo by oyatz(m): 6:20am On Feb 19, 2020 |
ChristianNorth: 1. Electoral law is not part of our constitution. A constitution is the body of law that states how a state will be constituted and governed. Every other laws draw their legitimacy from the constitution. The first thing a military government does is to suspend the constitution or a part of it in order to have legitimacy. Other laws are not suspended.
2. Only the Supreme Court does through legal instrument called judicial precedent and when they do, it becomes binding and law on its own unless a new law is passed by the legislatures.
3. It is just to formalize it and nothing more.
4. At the time it is signed.
Bayelsa judgment is apt if you are not sentimental. The judgement sacking Lyon was a pre-election matter meaning APC shouldn't have been on the ballot.
Being on the ballot then disqualified is different from being disqualified before the ballot. The Supreme Court only upheld a pre-election judgment of the High Court This is the first explicit post on the subject matter devoid of 'tribal bashing, insults and childish name calling' that are very typical of Nairaland threads. |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Made A Terrible Mistake Attending Nnamdi Kanu's Parent Burial by oyatz(m): 1:49pm On Feb 17, 2020 |
slam7000: If anyone is worried or should be worried of Tinubu, it’d have to be his colleagues in politics.
Peter Obi is one of many Igbo politicians but he is not among my top 5 Igbo politicians to be in Aso Rock.
In future, this incident will be the focal point for comparing the political ‘savvy south west’ and the politically ‘naive south east’. You can’t discuss or think of politics in the south west today without mentioning or thinking of Tinubu.
You understand my drift. Obi being present at Nnamdi Kanu’s dad funeral is interesting and will continue to be. This is a man that’s nursing ambition to be in Aso Rock one day but he was seen at pa Kanu’s funeral...what comes to mind here?? Ipob, Nnamdi Kanu, hate speech, Biafra, terrorism, secession. Did Obi not know all these before going there?? You’d expect the younger Osita Chidoka who tried to exploit Nnamdi Kanu’s fame or notoriety depending on which side that you are...to be there at the funeral but he avoided it. Was he wise, smart, politically savvy or a hypocrite?
Politicians face situations that test their characters as well their ‘political smartness’. Maybe this is Obi’s test. He might have failed a political smartness or savvy test but his character remains intact. For that I’ll pick him over the Nwodos, Chidoka, Nnamani etc...
How is this linked to Tinubu? Tinubu was at Pa Reuben Fasoranti’s daughter Funke Olukunrin’s funeral. The whole atmosphere was tensed with anger, frustrations about herdsmen as we call the offshoot of Fulani bandits and bokoharam causing trouble in the south. Locals have encountered these people. It’s been trails of blood, tears and anger.
Tinubu was there, he made a speech. He couldn’t summon courage to vent his anger on the killer herdsmen/bandit. He was right. It might not be the Fulanis but he has to mention Evans. He asked for the cows.
You asked why I mentioned Tinubu. I asked you, why would Tinubu mention Evans?
He might have passed his political savvy test to preserve his ambitions but this man would fail character test any day. He is not to be trusted. . You don't seems to get my point. Why bringing Tinubu into this discussion? Tinubu is just one man out of about 1000 politicians in Nigeria. What makes one politician distinct from the 1000 politicians? The topic is NOT about Tinubu, whether Tinubu is to be trusted or not. It's not whether his character is good or bad. Why did you not mention Bode George, El-Rufai, Atiku, Amaechi or Tambuwal? |

ChristianNorth: It has.
You rarely spread hate here like other Yoruba Christians. Yoruba Moslems are so predictable here that we always know when a comment is made by one. Bros it seems you take posts on Nairaland very serious. You see, Nairaland is a forum which is now being visited regularly by many frustrated guys and this is where they vent their frustrations for fellow frustrated guys to read and reply them. The way I see it, most of the tribal e-warriors on Nairaland are either insane, on drugs or deeply frustrated. Fortunately, they have no say in the political equation of their wards let alone that of Nigeria as a whole. Many of them don't even vote. |

slam7000: Everything. Tinubu is not a PDP man, he is not a supporter of IPOB (and probably doesn't even know the royal couple) and he is not from the S/East. Why bringing him into this discussion for unnecessary comparison? #People constantly talk about a man they fear most or worried about most of the time. |
