Jonathan can actually win if he plays his cards well and he stands a better chance than Atiku/Obi in 2023. Even Norther political power brokers may support him if he strikes appropriate deals with them because 1) He can only spend a maximum of four years. 2) He is from a minority ethnic group and thus has little capacity to change the balance of powers in the country. Awol1: I'd advise Jonathan to rest.
I don't think the North will vote for him and Tinubu Lagos-Ibadan expressway press will kill him with propaganda especially about corruption where Dasukigate would be a ready example.
PDP should pair a northerner with our Darling Peter Obi.
The northerner should then clear the ground for Obi to succeed him and arrange this country for us. |

Park well bros, USA Vs Iran is their own palaver, there is nothing concerning Black Africans (Pentecostal, Catholic or Traditional) in the matter. West Africans have no roles to play or power to intervene in this matter, why bringing them into the picture? It's purely a political matter and it's NOT a religious issue. caye: Slaves think that their white masters love them, when they are only expendable. Pentecostal black slaves. They don't know that when Isis/ Book fully expands in West Africa, America and France will allow the whole region to disintegrate first, with high number of killings of the population before recolonising them in the name of peace keeping. You teenage African slaves still don't get what is coming. Isn't it strange, loving a KKK terrorist offspring (Trump) whose terrorist organisation killed and murdered hundreds (if not thousands) of African Americans:- most of Malcolm X brothers were all murdered in horrible ways through gunshots, mutilations etc...while you hate Obama (an African) because of your religious delusions of Jesus being directly in covenant with America?

The OP by been jilted is the victim in the story but your advice (especially in the first paragraph) is trying to portray the OP as the aggressor and the lady as the victim. The OP, Mr Akande Joseph never took advantage of the girl so why asking him to go and beg the girl and made 'wrong' confession that he took advantage of her love. . . .And this is a girl, who is probably been fvcked front &back by the new (sharp) guy. Not exactly sir. Men and Women think differently about love/relationship. The OP can follow the two categories of advice- one given by the ladies and the other given by the men, asking him to forget about the lady and move on. 1) If the OP follow the ladies' advice to beg or talk to her, it can work. The demerit of this is that the OP will perpetually be in her debt and postponing a possible evil day. 2) If the OP follows the advice of the men and move on, he will be more mentally stable and emotionally matured MJBOLT:

Politics › Re: Igbo's Voted Obasanjo, Yaradua, Atiku, Can't They Vote Igbo's? The Hate Is Real by oyatz(m): 7:22am On Jan 03, 2020 |
What suggest hate in this write up now? Igbos can be voted for and can indeed win a presidential election. frankdoz: In 1999, Igbos voted for President Obasanjo from South West despite the painful loss of Alex Ekwueme to the latter at the primaries of the Peoples' Democratic Party in Jos. Chief Obasanjo got 3.2 million votes from the South East which is about 70 percent of the votes cast in the region in 1999.
In 2003, President Obasanjo secured 4.5 million votes about 68 percent of the votes the region in while Ikemba Nnewi Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (an undisputed Igbo leader) got about 22 percent of the votes.
In 2007, Ndigbo voted for Late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua who is from the North West and with a running mate with the South South region. Ndigbo voted against Gen. Muhammadu Buhari irrespective of the fact that he had an Igbo man as his Vice-Presidential candidate.
In the 2011 and 2015 presidential elections, Ndigbo voted for President Goodluck Jonathan who is from the South South region. President Jonathan secured over 90 percent of the votes in the South East region in each of those elections. Ndigbo did not vote for General Buhari.
In 2019, Ndigbo voted for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is from the North East region.
To drive the point home the North West after voting Obasanjo with about 63 percent of the votes cast in the region in 1999 shifted to General Buhari in 2003 with 62 percent and have consistently voted for Northerners since 2007.
No Southerner since 1999 has scored, on average, more than 30 percent of the votes cast in the North East and North West regions of Nigeria.
The electoral results show that the South East is ethnically blind when it comes to voting. This voting pattern is the ultimate proof of the cosmopolitan ethos of Ndigbo. They will vote against an Igbo Vice President if he is co-yoked with a president who is anti-market, anti-merit, and divisive. They will vote for a Northerner and a devout Muslim if they believe he is a man of character and a unifier. In Presidential elections, South East votes have been cast on a largely ideological basis in support of inclusion, rule of law, freedom, democracy and open markets.
The 2019 elections have also shown that Ndigbo will always vote in line with their conviction irrespective of threats or attacks. It is time for the country to take note of these salient points, drop their unfounded distrust of Ndigbo, and fight to enthrone the politics of live-and-let-live.

Stop saying what you don't know. 1) Obasanjo grew up with his biological father, Late Pa Obasanjo Bankole. 2) Obasanjo wasn't an only child. He had siblings and they resemble each other. 3) Obasanjo was born in 1937. During this period, the indirect rule of the British Colonialists empowered the Native Authority (NA) Administration in each Province to have their Police. The NA police were recruited among the natives. highpriest4: Obi onyejekwe was a police man served in abeokuta and environs. He had a son with a Yoruba woman from owu. Truth be told, 1) The ONLY people that are marginalized in Nigeria are the masses! The masses are found in every State and the proportion of the poor are more in Sokoto, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi,Yobe, Adamawa, Borno and Katsina States. 2) Where did you get this funny idea that Nigeria belong to three Major tribes and that this tribes can not can't change (the three Major tribes will be permanent)? 3) Nigeria can only become better if we build an egalitarian society where ANY citizen regardless of his tribe or religion can aspire to occupy ANY position including the Presidency. 4) If you are from Nupe, Bariba, Igala, Tiv, Zuru or Bolewa and no one in your tribe has occupied any position (from num 1-5) in Nigeria, how will you feel sir? 5) The Igbos deserve to be president but this will require an Igboman contesting for the presidential election. You can't sit down in your house and be shouting it's our turn. How do you ensure that it's your turn? 6) Lastly, things change. Polical powers also change! Prepare for the change and make maximum use of it. Bros read widely about seccession from antiquity. No Country willingly agree to it's own disintegeration. 1) Ireland was dominated by the English for 800 years and their country was forcibly incorporated in the United Kingdom. They had to fight a war before half of their country gained indepence in 1922. Till today, Northern Ireland is still a component unit of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. 2) Catalonia is a historic region in Europe. Today about 80% of the Historic Catalonia has been part of Spain for over 400 years and they are still agitating for their indepence. 3) The One China policy: Taiwan was forced out of the UN in 1971 to pave way for China because China insist that Taiwan is just a province under China and not a separate country. Today, Hong kong, Macao and Taiwan (with disputes) are parts of China. The Uighurs are still fighting for indepence 4) The issue of Israel and Palestine is a well known one. Dedetwo: The stupid actions adopted in African continent do not permeate into the fabric of international law. A unilateral declaration of independence (UDI) does not mean war. Nobody has the right to tell a group of people not to have independent home talk less of foisting a war on them. It could only happen in backwater continent such as Africa. European continent has witnessed many disintegrated countries without wars. |

There is no doubt that Buhari is a Northern supremacist. However, let's give him some credits where he deserves it. 1) The President carried out greater infrastructural developments for the Igbos than GEJ. For instance, Jonathan was President from May 05,2010- May 29,2015 yet he only 'commissioned' Engineering design of the 2nd Niger Bridge. Even in his native S/South, Jonathan didn't carried out great projects. Why didn't he build Seaports in Ibaka, Akwa-Ibom, Delta or even Bayelsa? What about East-West road? He promised to build Greenfield refineries in the Niger Delta but failed to do so. 2) Buhari NEVER said Igbo are 5%. If you are sure he did, please post the video here. I watched the interview when he traveled to the USA just after he was elected. What he said is very unnecessary and unbecoming of a democratically elected president by saying the areas he got 97% can not in all fairness be treated like the areas he got 5%. He NEVER mentioned any State or Tribe. DMerciful: Some of these projects have clauses, some financed with Chinese loans, cancelling would have been more expensive overall. Besides some of these projects were approved in the FEC. The places where he has sole authority like appointments, he has shown his dislike for Igbos even calling us 7% |

If an Igboman wins the ticket of a major party,he can win the Presidential election. There are Nigerians from Bachama, Nupe, Bariba, Tiv or Igala that have never been President, Vice president, Senate President, Speaker and CJN since 1960s. Anyone with a good knowledge of International politics, Law and History knows that unilateralion of seccession in a sovereign Country is an act of war. Lt.Col Chukwuemeka Ojukwu with a degree in History from the Presitigious Oxford University knew this and prepared for it. The civil did NOT start suddenly on a particular date, it actually started with Cascade of actions and reactions which eventually culminated into war. Dedetwo: The question you should ask was Biafra allowed to see a day of peaceful existence without foisted with a war of attrition? If Biafra was allowed a year of existence such questions would have been asked and reasonable answers would have been supplied too. Biafra did not start the war. Nigerian forces, without warning, attacked a peaceful region that decided to go its separate way. |
