PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Sack Benue Community by ozimec(m): 10:48am On Apr 18, 2016
Firefire:
By Peter Duru

MAKURDI—Despite efforts by the Federal and Benue State governments to end clashes between herdsmen and farmers, indications emerged yesterday that Moor, a council ward in Kwande Local Government Area of the state had been sacked by armed herdsmen.

Vanguard learned that the crisis, which dates back to 2013, has left over 100 persons dead, scores sustaining varying degrees of injuries and close to 8,000 displaced.

A source said: “Moor in Kwande Local Government Area is now an occupied territory. Herdsmen have sacked the inhabitants from their ancestral homes and taken over the council ward.

The crisis started as far back as 2013 and has led to the death of over 100 persons and many others injured.

“All the local government clinics, including 21 primary and secondary schools in the area, have been completely destroyed. The indigenes of the community are refugees in other communities.”

Corroborating the story, the Executive Secretary of the Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Mr. Boniface Otese, said the agency had been making concerted efforts to avail the displaced persons necessary relief materials.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, said police, military and other sister security agencies were working round the clock to ensure that peace and normalcy returned to every trouble spot in the state.

Christianity EtcRe: How A Christian Can Be Free From Condemnation After Committing Sexual Sins by ozimec(m): 10:18am On Apr 18, 2016
DivineSpp:
1. Remind yourself of who you are in Christ and what has been made available to you through Christ’s finished work on the cross.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession… – 2 Peter 2:9 (MKJV)
And You (God) made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign over the earth. – Revelation 5:10 (MKJV)
…much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ – Romans 5:17 (AMP)

2. Meditate on the truth that you are dead indeed to sin’s condemnation, guilt, judgement and curse just in the same way Jesus died to sin once for all.

For by the death He died, He died to sin… once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God... Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin…, but alive to God… in Christ Jesus. – Romans 6:10-11 (AMP)

3. Be conscious of the fact the God has brought you into a position of righteousness where whatever you do (good or bad), God still sees you righteous.

For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ Jesus). – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (MKJV)

4. Be confident that God has completely forgiven all your sins (past, present and future sins).

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… - Ephesians 1:7 (MKJV)
Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities (sins)... Psalm 103:3 (AMP)
their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more. – Hebrews 10:17 (MKJV)

5. Keep confessing that Jesus’ obedience (not your performance or obedience) has made you righteous until the reality of this good news gets into every fibre of your being.

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous. – Romans 5:19 (MKJV)

6. Now, you are empowered to go and sin no more and to start living a life of holiness.

…even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness. – Romans 6:19 (MKJV)
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace. – Romans 6:14 (MKJV)

Note: God hates all sins including sexual sin. I am also vehemently against sin and I am 100% for holiness. Making continuous practice of sin will harden your heart towards God. But you can only overcome sin until you are always conscious of who you are in Christ and the provisions God has made available to you in Him. When you know and believe God has nothing against you because He has forgiven all your sins before you ever committed them, you will lose every desire to indulge in sexual immorality. In fact, the act will be so disgusting to you.

The grace of God is not a license to sin but it empowers you to live above sin. It is even more than enough to overcome sin. We just have to embrace it.
When you believe right, you will always live right!

You are blessed. Happy Sunday shocked
. Be confident that God has completely forgiven all your sins (past, present and future sins).

So one should go on and keep sinning right?
This must be coming from the pits of hell. Brother repent and sin no more. Proverb 28:13 says " He that covereth his sins shall not prosper but, whosoever confesses and forsake them shall obtain mercy" Also the in Hebrews 10:26 It says "If we sin deliberately after we have received the knowledge of the truth. There
remaineth no more sacrifice for sin. Thank you

grossintel:
While growing up I felt so different and did things differently. Naturally I am an introvert, my class mates in sec school would say I have a unique way of doing things. I felt so cool about myself expecially the ability to control how I feel generally. I am very handsome and the kind of guy girls easily throw themselves at, again I felt my ability to resist certain temptations was because I had self control. Growing up in a Christian home their are things we don't ask mom and dad, I would look at Lil bro and notice I had a smaller scrotum but I didn't feel something was wrong with me. All these years I never understood I had a real problem. Am all grown now but I can't keep a relationship!! My siblings will always crack a joke about how unlucky I was with finding a good date. First time I got a girlfriend, very loving and caring young girl. We started off for 2yrs without sex. It wasn't a problem for me I don't know what sex feels like but it was to her and she wanted it badly I knew I would loose her if I don't and she began to wonder if I was a man. First time we tried sex I couldn't get erected, I felt it was anxiety and she was supportive. Second and third was worse but we kept trying. She had to tell me to see a doctor fast because I am not okay. Sex ended up being an issue and we broke up. I dated two other girls and the last girl said it to my face "YOU ARE IMPOTENT" And that was when it occurred to me this is serious. I went to see a urologist and after the blood test it was confirmed I had low T. Low testosterone below normal. I couldn't believe I had a problem like this until I did a sperm analysis. I had oligospermia!! 95% abnormality. Further test showed I had Hypogondasim, it's yet unknown if it's secondary or primary Hypogondasim. I knew I had gone down that road where u look back and ask life
What did I do to deserve this?
How do I convince a girl to even accept to marry me?
Is their really a God?
Why am I a man if God won't give me what I need to become a man.
Every solution I have heard so for is impractical, expensive or ridiculous. Imagine injecting testosterone for 6 months before ur fit to make love to your wife? Or injecting my penis to stay up before sex? Alpha blockers like viagra has no effect on me at all. Apart from sexual performance secience is yet to understand male fertility and alot of things will be tried on me, this could take years!!! If it's so simple as doctor's will easily say why are their cases of 25yrs without a child some never have a child and just adopt. Why are their so many drugs and injections if one thing works. Am at the bridge of taking my life, I see no point making all these money and sit down in an empty house sad and lonely.

The 2015 election was not an anti-corruption election. We did not have any political party that presented an anti-corruption mandate to us. The party that won the election was just a makeover of the PDP, I mean the PDP people moved from the PDP to the APC. If they were corrupt when they were in PDP, they became clean when they were in APC.

“So there is no mandate against corruption. If President Buhari was determined to fight against corruption, my feeling is that he gave up after losing election three times.

“Because the fourth time, he formed an alliance with people who he despised before. And they were not necessarily people who had a track record of being (sic) anti-corruption. So today, I don’t know who is anti-corruption.”

‎Mr. Aribisala said the current fight against corruption by the President Muhammadu Buhari government is merely a fight against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

“We have to make up our minds if we really want to deal with the question of corruption. If we want to deal with the question of corruption, Nigerians themselves must insist on it and we have to deal with it at the institutional level,” he said.

“The institutional fight against corruption that has taken place to the extent that it has, took place under PDP. The institutional structures, even the ones that the present government is relying on, are PDP structures. Whether it is EFCC, ICPC, TSA, all these came under PDP.

“In ten months of Buhari’s‎ government, there has been no institutional structure that has been laid against corruption. We have simple had media circuses accusing people of corruption.

“You cannot fight corruption with corruption. And corruption is more than just the stealing of money. If you disobey the rule‎ of law, you have corrupted the system. If you create an avenue where you have a big margin between the official foreign exchange rate and the parallel market rate, there’s gonna be corruption. If you have children of the rich getting into the CBN on nepotistic grounds, the corruption is still with you.
“If you have a budget that is padded left right and centre, and after this was revealed you passed it and say only a small amount changed in it, and we do not know what is in the new budget, you can’t say you are against corruption. There is no transparency in any of these things.”

Mr. Aribisala further stated that the current anti-corruption effort‎ lacks a clear focus.
“Because the last 16 years was not just PDP government,” he said.

“The legacy parties of the APC were also in power. In fact when the PDP was ostensibly dealing with corruption, it addressed people in its own party. We are not having that now.

She calls me up some hours later to tell me her doctor says she's HIV positive. My head spun and I started thinking of where I must had gotten it from! We've been intimately together for 4years, and we make love as often as we feel like although our busy schedule hasn't made us see for up to a month now.

As I got the news, I felt so restless and just had to go join her at the hospital so they could carry a test to confirm my status. It came out negative. I promised her to always be by her side and wouldn't leave her cos of the disease. I trust her a lot and I believe she must have contracted it through sharp objects her makeup business exposes her to like razor blades.

CareerRe: Your CV Can Beat The ATS System And GET As Many Interviews As You Want! by ozimec(m): 7:14pm On Mar 16, 2016
FlawlessCV:
I'm sure most of us know that most firms now use the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to filter CVs. The way it works is that the ATS looks for certain keywords in your CV. If those keywords are found wanting, your CV is screened out!

That definitely is the REASON why so many of us have sent out CVs over a thousand times with little or NO interview invites. There are some online applications you can use to score and access your CV to know how your CV is rated. One of such is www.rezscore.com. Here, all you need is upload your CV and it scores your CV, which is usually between in percentage and between A and F.

My old CV was rated just about 50% initially. I however got the help of a Professional CV Writer who helped me re-write the CV, he re-formatted my CV and put the keywords that all ATS systems look out for. After uploading on Rezscore again, I scored a whooping 90%! and the grade A-

OK! I thought it was a fluke! I applied for 3 different jobs last week and I got an interview invite from 1 of them already! WHAO!

So here's the deal. I'm willing to give out a copy of this at a TOKEN (I paid more for it!) email me at cvflawless@gmail.com if interested.

PoliticsNow, If Buhari Had'nt Won This Election All You Would Have Been Hearing Would Ha by ozimec(op): 8:15am On Mar 02, 2016
Now, if Buhari hadn’t won this election or rather was not
foisted on us as a president all you would have been
hearing would have been.

There goes a man that would have given us heaven on
earth.

A man that would have created an Eldora out of
nothing.

A man that would have equalled Naira to a Dollar.

A man that would have stabilised the OPEC and in
compensation would have given us an OPEC president.

There goes a man that would have liberated the
downtrodden, the dismal class, the landless gantries
and given them the hope and audacity to dare to
dream.

A man that would have brought us the Chibok girls
within a month.

A man that would have wiped out boko haram within
three months and restore hope and peace in the
Northern region.

That man that would have given us petrol at N40 per
liter yes, there goes that man called Buhari the great
enigma.

A man that would have given the youth corppers N50k
a month and given unemployment benefits to youths.

A man that would have given pension and allowances
to the old people and look after them well because he
is an OAP himself.

A man that would have fed the kids in public schools
at least a meal day.

A man that would have created 12 million jobs in four
years and given us the most robust economy.

A man that would have compensated even the
journalists with life policies in case of any eventuality.

A man that would have completed the second Niger
bridge and turn Onitsha to another Dubai.

A man that would have harnessed and closed down
the great divide between the North and the South.

That would have been the man, the saviour, the master,
the messiah that would have brought the much-needed
development to Nigeria and finally, that man would have
given us our rightful place in the committee of nations.

A man that would have brought corruption to ground
zero and jail all the corrupt politicians.

Yes, that man would have been Buhari, a man that
Nigerians never gave the chance to come and make all
the wrongs right.

It would have been a case of useless Nigerians that do
not know or want anything good for their country. Instead
of voting for the liberator they went and voted for the
“clueless Jonathan a man from Otueke”, that has come
to continue with his backwardness.

Ah! I am so happy that, the man in question is our
president, it is not some hypothesis nor some case study
that students and professors would have had to embark
on and inferred their tentative analysis on.

Yes, that man called Alhaji Buhari is here and him alone
has built the myth around himself and he is the only one
that has been able to also dispel and dismantle the
stupid myth without the help of anyone.

You can’t dispel Buhari’s myth for him, his stupidity, his
cluelessness, his lack of know-how is legendary in fact,
no one can or could have dispelled that myth and larger-
than-life persona about him better than himself.

I am so glad that Buhari is the president of Nigeria today
and we have come to know that he is all mouth and no
action, that there is nothing to him but just an empty
myth surrounding a very empty old man.

Yes, Buhari is a very big myth and nothing can or could
have prepared us for what he has come to be and
represent today.

Buhari is nothing but an empty vessel full of cows dung
and nothing else.

So happy that we now know him.

You see us that is what we would have been saying if
Buhari was not foisted on us. I know us that is how we
roll we are Nigerians.

What a relief really?
PoliticsMy Dialogue With The Dss At Federal High Court Abuja by ozimec(op): 5:01pm On Feb 25, 2016
MY DIALOGUE WITH THE DSS AT FEDERAL HIGH COURT ABUJA, ON January 29 2016.

It was about 8:45am and everyone was seated in the court room waiting for the arrival of the Judge. Nnamdi Kanu was already seated with two of his comrades. I went to greet him and assure him of the peoples support of his cause. I must say that the young man was in good spirit and very hospitable.

On my side was a DSS officer who engaged me in a long dialogue that seemed friendly but filled with bitter anger towards Ndigbo and all that are agitating for Biafra nation. He started by asking me about a young man he spotted that looked very angry and agitated. Obviously he wanted to know about that young man. Hence he asked if I knew him. I said no because I didn’t know that young man.

DSS: Do you know that man?

Me: I don’t know him.

DSS: Are you a member of IPOB?

No I am not a member of IPOB. I am a member of Biafra Foundation and we all work together for the same cause.

At this point the DSS man (name withheld) became serious and started with, “I can’t understand why the Igbos who are everywhere in Nigeria, who dominate all areas of commerce and have billions of investments all over Nigeria are the ones agitating to breakaway from Nigeria”.

Sir, the Igbos in Nigeria seek independence because from the colonial time, our fathers never wanted to be part of Nigeria. Consult the history on the political development of Nigeria, Ndigbo never signed any treaty to be part of Nigeria unlike the North and the west. Our fathers were coerced into being part of Nigeria. Since independence nothing has worked in Nigeria except what was imposed. As for our business successes sir, we need to be free to actualize our potentials. We feel in Nigeria our potentials are buried. It is not about individual successes in business but the ability to become the president of this nation. The way Nigeria is structured I am afraid I may never become the president of this country no matter how hard I try and I fear my children may face the same situation and it is scary to pass such hopeless future to children yet unborn. Come to our states federal presence were only those built before 1966. All our federal roads are death traps. Though we are the strength of this nations economy yet we are the most improvised in terms of federal presence.

There are so many policies by the federal government that were meant to punish Ndigbo. The federal character, the quota system were aimed at unduly favouring one region against the other. It deliberately killed performance, professionalism and integrity. All we have achieved in terms of state development is by self efforts. Most of our roads, pipe borne water, hospitals and even airports are self efforts while other regions enjoy the same from the federal government. I was in primary school when I contributed one naira for Imo state airport, I also contributed for Imo state blood bank. Now tell me which of my mates in other regions made such contributions?

“What else do you people want”?

We want to be able to control our destiny away from the Nigeria occupation of our land. We do not want to be part of a country where we are hated, despised and treated as second class citizens. In Nigeria today an average Igbo man is hated. We are treated with mutual suspection. We are not trusted. Since the war ended, Ndigbo have not been integrated into Nigeria mainstream. Every where in Nigeria, be it in the North or west there is Igbo phobia.

On Nnamdi Kanu, the DSS said. “This man looks innocent but what he has started might engulf the nation into another crisis worse than Boko Haram. Boko haram started like this before it was hijacked by people more powerful than the founder, Yusuf Mohammed. If we let him go his movement may fall into hands stronger than him.

It looks like you put this man on trial based on what you think or fear he might be in future not that he has committed any crime. I can tell you that the only thing that could lead to this movement being hijacked is his continued illegal detention and the propped up charges against him. His freedom is paramount to him directing his group to the part of peaceful resolution of the agitation. Imprison him today and a million Kanus will emerge tomorrow. As for your fear that there might be arms struggle, I can tell you we are not going to fight before we get what we want. No gun would be shut from our side. No bomb will be exploded by us. We have learnt from the mistake of our fathers and if we fail to actual this idea, we will pass it on to our children and they will learn from our mistakes and continue the agitation.

“Why are you guys including the south south as part of Biafra when they do not want to be part of Biafra? Even Igbos in the North like those in Kano, Lagos who have billions of investment are not supporting your cause and your leaders are not even supporting you. This man is alone I can tell you”.

I wonder which state in Niger delta has boundary with the North. I am at a lost at your attempt to save the Niger delta from the Igbos who never had a history of constant violence with our neighbours as the Hausa/Fulani does with the minorities in the North. In all the middle belt states, there is constant struggle to survive. The people are being systematically erased by your cultural domination. You intimidate them, kill and rape their women, burn down their houses and villages yet you have the gut to act like the Igbos are oppressing the Niger deltans. By the way are you excluding the Igbos from your definition of Niger Deltans? Or do you mean south south region? Any way I am sure you are mixing it up. There are many ethnic groups in the south south region which also include Igbos. There are also Igbos in the middle beltan states. The creation of Cross river state by Gen Gowon was to weaken the unity and strength of the then eastern region. Till date the north has been afraid of our unity but I tell you we are closer today than ever. The Niger deltans are beginning to ask questions on who and why Adaka Boro was murdered. They are also aware that Ken Saro Wiwa who believed in the friendship with the North was mercilessly murdered by the same people he fought for. Odi was wiped out the worst genocide in our time and no one said a damn thing yet you claim you love those people? Hard love I must say.

“I like this man. He is very calm and I am sure if he maintains this posture the judge might free him though I still consider him a threat to national security.”

Now lets look at it this way, those we love we set them free. How can you put someone you love on trial for propped up charges? If you love this man you would respect his constitutional rights and set him free. I don’t think he is a threat in anyway. All he has is microphone. He has no gun. His followers have never killed anyone. His group has never detonated bomb anywhere. They respect the sanctity of human life and no Igbo person will blow himself/herself up to make a point. All NNAMDI Kanu has is his mouth and brain. He is screaming at those oppressing him, those holding his generation captive to set him free; is that a threat to peace?

“You might see him as a threat but from the security point of view he is very dangerous”.

Let me tell you who is a threat to peace and national security. The Fulani herdsman who carries AK47, invades peoples land, kill and rape women are real the dangers to life and threat to national security. How many of them have you arrested and put on trial before? How could you accuse somebody who has no weapon, no battalion as threat to lives while you let a Fulani man walk with assault riffle? The Igbo business you are saying that worth billions would you allow them to carry assault riffles to protect their goods?

“You the Igbos have conquered every market in Nigeria and as such should be contented. They get 13% allocation from their resources. What else do they want?”

We get 13% and who is keeping the 87% and for what? Take for example, Bayelsa state has 8 local governments while Kano state has 44 local governments and national monthly allocation is based on this unequal and unjust figure. What is the contribution of Kano state to national treasury?

“Look at the contracts in the government Igbos occupy every where. In the North the best estates are owned by Igbos. They own the best hotels, private schools and the most expensive shops in the north. These people are not will to support your agitation”.

I tell you sir, it is not our properties and investments in the north or west that you care about rather the investments of the rich northerners that worth trillions in the south and south east that you care about. Yes my people have invested billions across Nigeria but your people have investments worth trillions in our region. The oil blocks in our region are owned and controlled 90% by the northern and western Generals and business men and women. We do not have such investment and control of the natural resources in either of these regions. Who owns and runs the oil merchant ships in the Niger delta? Who controls the oil allocation in our region?

Let me also say it to you here. Our desire to leave Nigeria goes beyond business and material considerations. We are republicans in nature and we cherish our divergent opinion in life. We strongly believe that we will fare better if we have our own nation. Take for an example during the civil war under heavy bombardment, Biafrans manufactured their aircraft. They built one of the strongest bunkers in the world within 9months. Under heavy bombardment and starvation Biafra built their airport, drilled and refined their oil. Feat Nigeria has not been able to achieve since independence. Take away the oil and give us our independence and we will emerge a stronger nation with booming economy in ten years.

The insistence of the president that Nigerians want to stay has one nation can only be proved in the court of the people through a referendum. On this agitation we are not in a hurry to stop. Biafra stands for the freedom of all the ethnic minorities that have been oppressed in Nigeria. The middle belt ethnic group has been consumed by the north. The minorities in the west have long disappeared, Biafra is the voice of freedom for all. Biafra is peace to all, equality and justice that is what Biafra stands for and that is what we want but cannot get in Nigeria.

Now sir let us take a look at the land graze decree of 1968. Gowon signed our land to the Fulanis for support to prosecute unjust war against the former eastern region. Today the herdsmen kill our people and rape our women and no one is arraigned be fore any court. Is that freedom and security? In the North at the slightest provocation Bifrans are killed with impunity. There is no record where a hausa/Fulani person has been arrested, tried and jailed for killing an Igbo man. There in the north and else where in Nigeria the life of an Igboman worth nothing. Over 200 bodies slaughtered and dumped in Ezu river and no panel of investigation was set. No one was brought to just for that atrocity yet you want to stay in Nigeria so our children will inherit a nation of death from us? No God forbid.

Ndigbo is majority group in Nigeria but today we are political endangered specie. We have the least states. The least representation is the government. We receive the least allocation from the federal government. Our population has been doctored to reduce our true population. We are the minority now. Can't you see that Nigeria has no good for us in stock?

Just take a look at all the security men here. Those guiding Nnamdi Kanu, all of them are Northerners guiding an Igbo man accused of treason? Where are the Igbos in DSS? How would you convince me that a man surrounded by enemies will receive fair treatment? It was at this point that the DSS man laughed as the judge entered the court

Biafra: NBA Chiefs Fault Bail Denial For Nnamdi Kanu
Discussion in 'Metro News' started by RemmyAlex, Today at 9:26 AM. Views count: 304

Two legal giants based in Onitsha, Anambra state, Ben Okoko, chairman of Idemili branch of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA and Chris Adimora, chairman of Anaocha branch of NBA have vehemently condemned the denial of bail to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

They said that as far as they were concerned, Kanu did not commit any offence against any known Nigerian law to have warranted his bail denial and continued detention in the prison custody.

According to Adimora who spoke in a interview with newsmen in his office, yesterday, “the reasons adduced by the prosecution for refusing Kanu bail is not tenable. He did not commit any offence by having dual citizenship. He can’t be refused bail because his charges are still mere allegation which are not yet proven”. “As far as I know, he continued, Kanu did not commit any offence. They were just fishing for evidence to keep him in jail until they came up with this trump up charge of treasonable felony”.

“That he opened a radio station in a British air wave is not an offence in Nigeria. That he called President Muhammadu Buhari names does not amount to treasonable felon but mere agitation. He is only expressing and speaking the minds of millions of marginalized Biafrans and that does not amount to treasonable felony as the court states”, he stated further.

Now you here, ever seen this type of egg? forget the camera, the egg is so "tiny". These ain't quail, duck or goose egg. It's the normal brown table eggs you eat. We call it Pheasant egg.
Now the question is what might have lead to this?
I'm sorry to disappoint fellow Animal scientists in the house that it isn't any of these factors; Nutrition, Artificial lighting, diseases, species...Nah.
This is temperature...lol.
Once broke a record in my layers exposition of getting an egg two size the normal table egg with this same species. How did it happen? Gist for another day.
Hens start laying in spring/rainy. An early or late start depends on the strain and age of hens, weather conditions, methods of housing, feeding and general husbandry practices. If conditions are favourable, some strains of birds will start to lay in August, while others may not start until October. It is best not to breed from hens younger than 8 months because they take longer to come into production and they lay fewer eggs. As a general rule, chicks hatched after March will not be mature enough to breed that year. If the late winter/dry and early spring months are warm, just as we are now. That's what you'll see, not as first drop but during end of winter.
Scientists and beginners in the house. If you've experienced same, share your ideas and what you think that might have lead to yours.

PoliticsRe: James Ibori Neither Released From UK Prison Nor Re-arrested – Aide by ozimec(m): 10:35pm On Feb 05, 2016
Millz404:
The embattled former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, who is currently serving a jail term in a UK prison, is neither released nor rearrested, a statement by the former governor’s media aide, Tony Eluemunor, said.

There were reports Wednesday that Mr. Ibori was released from prison and rearrested immediately.

The statement said, “The Chief James Onanefe Ibori Media Office hereby informs Ibori’s teaming supporters that the news about the release of their champion and political leader from prison is not true.

“This news had set off a frenzy of activities in the entire South-South geo-political zone, as many people took off from their respective towns and villages to storm Ibori’s home town of Oghara.

“Many kept vigil at his gate; but the vigil was in vain as Ibori has not finished serving his term.

“Perhaps as the magnitude of the lie The News on-line publication told to itself and the nation (in a story it had termed an exclusive) dawned on it, its sister publication, PM News kicked in with another lie; that Ibori had been re-arrested.

“This caused a sleepless night to another set of Ibori’s supporters as they stayed up all night working the phone to find out the true situation.

“The truth is that the exclusive stories published by The News and PM news were exclusive lies. Over 24 hours after the publications, no British authority has confirmed either the news of the release or of the purported re-arrest.

“Many people have asked me how such a malicious story could have been cocked up. My only reply is that Ibori’s political and legal persecutors tried to counter the favourable wind that arose from Ibori’s corner when the case turned against the London Metropolitan Police and the Crown Prosecutors by late January 2016, when even they agreed that they were corrupt in the way they investigated Ibori and his associates.

“That forced them to withdraw the obstructing the cause of justice charges they had brought against one of Ibori’s lawyers, Mr. Bradesh Gohil.

“Most importantly, the judge that day ruled that all the documents that had been withheld from Ibori and all his associates should be turned over to them and that they were free to go on appeal to challenge even their earlier convictions.

“It was this ray of hope that even Ibori’s conviction may be struck down that the media manipulators attempted to extinguish in the hearts and minds of Ibori’s supporters when they concocted their lies and passed same off as news.

”To prove that the case has turned and the hunters may be feeling the heat, respected British news media such as the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), The Times of London and the Guardian of London, last week announced that calls have arisen that Ibori’s and his associates’ accusations of corruption against the prosecution be investigated.

“The New Indian Express of Monday 25 January 2016 reported that “In representations to the judge, Stephen Kamlish, Gohil’s defence team accused the Crown Prosecution Service of “positively misleading the court and the parties as part of their deliberate cover-up of discloseable material”.

“In response, the Judge Tester said, “The crown has offered no evidence for one or both of the following reasons. One, that the allegations of corruption made by Mr Gohil are true, and not false. The second is that the crown has suppressed material both in this court and in other proceedings, including the trial of Ibori.

“The crown offering no evidence can only mean the crown is not prepared themselves to explain their decision, either for the abuse of the court in bad faith or for the police corruption. In those circumstance, it is our duty to our client to raise these matters and this brings into question the safety of these convictions.

“The Indian Express continued: “A Met police intelligence report seen by this paper (The Indian Express) suggests an RISC employee telephoned a police officer working on the Ibori investigation in 2007 and allegedly told him his inquiries were “on the right track”. Separate documents shown to Gohil’s defence team are said to reveal the existence of 19 cash deposits into the same officer’s bank account. The CPS had allegedly denied the existence of the documents.

“It is an incontrovertible fact that the confiscation hearing has not started at all, and remains months away into the future.

“Even today, that remains the case as nothing has changed. The confiscation hearing has not started and nobody, whether Ibori or another person, has been arrested as there is really no need to arrest anyone because of a confiscation hearing”.

I am not an APC groupie. Neither am I a PDP zombie. I have been a strong critic of the Buhari govt. I have opened threads to lambast the current APC government.

However. The truth must be told. It is shameful that the supreme court will affirm elections that both the national and international communities have condemned for the mindless rigging that the marred the election.

Two case studies are the Rivers and akwa ibom state governorship elections that were marred with electoral malpractices. both the tribunal and the court of appeal validated the fact thar bothe elections were rigged without an iota of conscience. yet the supreme court shamelessly validated those rigged elections to the surprise of Nigerians and the world at last.

The supreme court judgement of late has become a national and international embarrassment. And our highest court in the land is beginning to lose their reputation.

The supreme court is beginning to emerge as the greaest threat to free and fair elections in Nigeria.

Mixty
Supreme Court judgements are based on inability of therrespondents to provide convincing evidences to support their claims not on hearsay besides, can you tell me any election conducted in Nigeria that was not mared by irregularities? We have not gotten there yet but I believe that we would get there soon. Look at the contradictory judgements given by lower courts in the case of Akwa ibom state, even the CJN frown at such judgements weeks ago. Personally I was expecting him (CJN) to make correction to such embarrassing judgments. My dear, if you have been following the proceedings, you will know that Supreme Court gave judgement based on what was presented to it not what anybody or group of people feel or hearsay.
