philips70: I hear you. Next time I get around the house he owned in PTI road Warri before he went into active politics I will snap it and post it here for all to see. Successful businessman indeed! Up till now the real road that leads to that house is not motor-able. I know what I am speaking, he was in my neighborhood before I moved. Even as corrupt as Italians look, ministers live in rented apartments with co-tenants. As long as we continue to feel our public servants deserve some kind of better living conditions than the ordinary people, solutions to our problems will remain a Utopian venture.Oga, I think the problem here is that the Whistle blower (Dino Melaye) has credibility issues. If it was a Falana that took the pictures, you'll discover that majority of the posts here will be against Orubebe. Nigerians tend to look @ the messenger before considering the message. I'm ready to swear/bet before Okija shrine that Dino Melaye is a million times more corrupt than Orubebe. |
acidtalk: THIS WHOLE PROCESS IS FULL OF FRAUD!!!Guy, since you and I don't have d money/resources required, who again do u suggest as buyers? If GEJ sold them all to britons,Americans,Asians, etc pple like u will still complain. These guys are Nigerians, they have the money and the connection to attract credible technical partners. We don't have many "clean" Billionaires in Nigeria and that's a sad fact. I heard one Analyst say that one of the reasons y Indonesian economy is growing is that their corrupt leaders invest most of their stolen wealth in Indonesia (I've not verified dis claim) and not in Switzerland. Imagine if our past leaders were investing in Nigeria all this years, Nigeria would've been more developed than this by now. I support dis privatisation and I pray it works. |
Ijebulogic: This is the most brilliant question so far!!!This Ijebuman made heavy sense here. So far the Best post. Meanwhile, weldone to the FG and Aviation minister for doing their job. Pls whoever is representing the Aviation Minister should answer these questions by Ijebulogic. Tnx |
The airport is ok. Kudos to the FG. Biko, how about Enugu Airport? Any gist? |
Dark Knight: Believe me,if Gowon was truly innocent of the charges,he would have written his memoirs a long time ago. That's the least any reasonable individual will do.Rather than apologize and create room for further integration,Gowon believes he can defend his actions during the war.If he had consulted his lawyer before making such statements,he would have known that his chances of acquittal is one in a million.HE MUST BE AN IGNORAMUS.Sir,Every Head of State that has been tried at the ICJ for war crimes has been convicted. The mere fact that Gowon failed to prevent the genocide indicts him already. The Igbo genocide was the worst in Nigeria's history.Children and women were among the primary targets of that war.Can Gowon defend his 'no victor,no vanquished' cliche when every igbo was given just 20 pounds in exchange for all their biafran money. The aim of that war was not just to regain the Nigerian empire but to silence the voice of the igbos. If the Ohaneze or any igbo group were to take up this matter,it may lead to disintegration.+1000000 likes You just made heavy sense here Batman or should I call you Bruce Wayne |
Inasmuch as I hate Reps with a passion, I stand with them on this matter. Infact if I'm a Rep member and GEJ pays these PHCN pple 15%, I'll raise a motion of impeachment against GEJ. Its an impeachable offence to pay others 7.5% and PHCN workers will get 15-25%. |
yomanovic: I checked the title to confirm if 'yoruba' is there but its 'turkish' I see. The only thing that suggests the he is Yoruba is only his names and that of his father. I guess you feel so bitter that you cant replace the guy's name with a name from your village. If I guess right, you will be igbo. Recenlty, it was northern leaders that warned President 'Ebele' Goodluck that his government is marginalising the Yorubas. Barth Nnaji, outgone minister of power is Igbo, Diezani Madueke, Okojo Iweala... Igbos are heading the ministries that matter a lot to this country and just because of a boy with a high accolade is Yoruba, you suddenly showcase how hopeless you could be. If not that I work with some ibos that are actually reasonable people, I would have they are all the same but I guess you are just one of the sick-headed ones. And if you feel you cant tolerate people of other origin, you log out of nairaland and never come back just because the owner is Yoruba. With all due respect Sir, the Op edited it. It was Yoruba before he changed it to Nigeria. |
mxxpunkxx!:Oga, is dis not abit contradictory? After 1 year in a relationship, u guys now carried out an extensive medical exam. So u mean if the exam showed u guys wia both AS, ur gal wouldn't feel bad after 1 year? U knw its easier (faster) for gals to fall in love than guys. After a failed relationship, its easier for guys to move on than gals. U'll move on easily but d gal won't find it dat easy. @Op, I'm sorry and I hope u guys find the strenght to move on. If not, thank God for medical science. U guys can opt for that selection process. In my Family, we're blessed. My parents got married in the 70's without any medical exam and only discovered their AS status after I was born (80's) I'm d last in my family. None of us are SS and infact I am AA. God is good. |
Me would love to be JOSHUA. |
Sisi_Kill: What would be MONUMENTAL IN THE BLOGGING COMMUNITY is calling out the people who oppress the average Nigerian on a daily basis and having them change their ways. . .now THAT is a voice that needs to be heard.Sir, that's a very good idea but you should take the lead. From what I see, you can write well and you'll have many followers (I.e money will be rolling in). Masses will sing your praise. So please take the lead. For now, I think Mr Stanley did a good job and should be encouraged to do more. Our music industry is a multi million/billion $ industry and it has helped in improving our economy. It deserves all the coverage its getting now by bloggers and it needs more coverage. |
acidtalk: When Tunde Subair set-up Hitv but eventually went down, was it not the same Nigerian masses that MOCKED him over and over on how he wanted to compete with DSTV.What really happened to HiTv and Daarsat? They were supposed to be checkmating DSTV. |

fingard02k: They (Celtic) will recieve the worst beating of their life tonight...If Barça don't win them with anything less than 3 nil, make SEUN BAN ME!Oga SEUN, pls kindly grant him his heart desire by baning him. |
Just remembered that Pastor Bakare Prophesised or cursed ACN some days back. His prophesy has come to physical manifestation. https://www.nairaland.com/1068125/ondo-elections-pastor-tunde-bakare |
Believe it or not, Yorubas are polically more enlightened than the rest of the tribes in nigeria. Look @ the debate, the contestants subjected demselves to the debate. The voters now chose d best candidate by dia own judgement. I suggest that NASS amend our constitution empowering INEC to conduct guber/national elections in 2-3months as against condcting elections in the 37states in a day. It'll make it easier for JEGA & co to manage the logistics well and their be enuf securitty to ensure free and fair elections. It'll be harder for politicians to rig if such a law is passed. |
Maybe the Senator is a snitch. Used by JTF to capture d BH topman. #justsayin |
U sure say Bath Nnaji company dey among dis consortium? Thot he's with eastern nigeria consortium? |
spyder880: Which popular school is this? Alma mater to many notable Igbo sons who has been making giant strides in all works of life. Who knows the name of this school?College Of The Immaculate Conception (CIC). Semper Fidelis!!! |
^^^ Lastapostle, u may not be far from the truth. Pres. Goodluck Jonathan has sold us out cos of fear or 2015. Earlier today @ AIT, I saw the press conference and Oshiomole said that BPE gave their consortium 896 points and Vigeo got 857points. U see this wickedness!!! For God's sake Emeka Offor has a history of not finishing/doing any contract/job given to him. This man is bad, very bad. Well wishers of Pres GEJ abeg tell him to intervene. |
Rossikk: ^^^ I think you need to be a lot stronger than that. By the way, I'm not sure I care too much for 'transparency' where it concerns matters relating to Nigeria. We are who we are. The main thing is: Will we see an expansion in power supply? If the answer is yes - and there is every indication that it is - then we're on our way. It is a myth that we need to transform into a nation of saints in order to get this country moving.Correct |
coded guy: In nigeria the absurd looks normal while the norma thing looks absurd to a very large extent. I am one that believes that some essential commodities like power should be provided by the govt to allow the pple have a sense of belonging, but the way it has been managed over the years we see the clamour for privatisation.I thot dat d essence of privatisation is to avoid/stop any form of monopoly? Now Abdulsalam has 5 discos, largest in nigeria and He'll monopolize everytin. If Abdulsalam sneezes,9ja power sector will catch cold. If there's a time for senate to pass a resolution and GEJ led executive to obey the resolution, that time is now. |
Rossikk: Thanks. I read somewhere that 10 million Nigerians joined the middle class in the last 5 years. It was a report by Actis International, a global investment group. Also, it's been noted that: ''Household consumption is growing at more than 9% a year in countries like Nigeria and Ghana, faster than the BRIC average.'' [BRIC = Brazil, Russia, India, China].Had faith like u cos I believed in the privatisation of PHCN as the only way for our economy to improve. But after reading about how BPE organised the bidding process I became discouraged. We just need divine intervention. That's just it |
take dat: That was racketeering and not bidding. Emeka Offor is a guy who lacks credibility, how well did he his Chrome manage all the TAM contracts he collected or is it the Kastec gas pipeline fraud. Where did Abdulsalam get his money? Abacha's recovered loot. Gbolade Osibodu is simply a front man .All these guys are worse than the state governors.Chei!!! SE states are doomed!!! Emeka Offor's company won? Why ![]() Hope SE states will protest. I pray so. |
PROUD-IGBO:I wonder!!! Foreign investors are even returning to the market again. Lets see what Pres GEJ will do. But If i am in GEJ's shoes, i will tell Aruma to step aside, tell NOI/Aganga to look for a competent Nigerian Abroad or ask Ezekwesili to replace her (She may likely decline) and sack all the senior staff workers in that organization. |
shol: There's this "one girl i liked a lot" almost dated her but didn't due τ̅☺ some circumstance and she said No because of the circumstance(i guess i was in just assuming, because i don't know her mind) but she calls some time now or send pls call me whenever she needs credit(mostly) but i do send whenever i gat money i don't mind but i still like her, when i spoke τ̅☺ her recently she's dating someone else now and she told me she's gat a boyfriend then.....Dude, u r a 9ce guy. Flee from her as far as u can cos she maybe using u as her shock absorber just incase of heart break (gals r good coaches, some usually have substitute bench), she maybe feeling u r not in her league or u r just her fone recharger. There r many gals out dere waiting for u to say sometin. You need to erase her from ur mind and get anoda gal cos somtin tells me u're single (hope u r not). |
iykeboyy: I have learnt alot. Among which is don't take her forgranted.Which kind gist be dis? As far as I'm concerned u don't love her. Ur regret is as a result of u seeing her in her car. As for me, I've learnt never ever to show a girl that I have genuine feelings (LOVE is too big a word for me to use)for her. I've learnt to be unpredictable and to always correct/point out to her her fault(s) whenever she makes me angry. I've seen some dudes tolerate rubbish from dia gals just becos of love and ofcourse silly gals usually take advantage of such situations. I've also learnt never to date any gal Under the age of 25. Even if I'm a month than her, me don't kia. |
^ ^ ^ Abeg make we no enter politics ooooh. Na football we dey talk about |
Dede1: This another series of arrant nonsense propagated by those on the payroll of Nigeria and its friendly foreign governments who supported Nigeria during the war.I'm short of words. Nnukwu mmadu udo diri gi |
Dede1: If you are not a bloody fool, you are certainly a delusional ninny. If you think losing uncles during the war is enough for you to forget your past, it is not enough for some of us who lost father, brothers, sisters, uncles, nephews, aunts and grandparents during the pogrom in northern region and the civil war. Let me call your deduction that Ojukwu forcefully took your uncles away from your village as foolery.+1000000 likes sir |
I dey pray make dem group us with South Africa. Fortune always seems to favour Super Eagles anytime we play them. |
semid4lyfe: Goal KeepersOur team is ok on paper as usual just hope we'll do well this time in South Africa. Our soft spot to me is the Goal keeping and Defense section. Enyeama now prone to silly mistakes and central defense have not really clicked in recent time. Hope and pray that Afam returns to full fitness/form. Was surprised when i heard that Ambrose is a regular in Celtic, thats good news he needs the exposure and confidence. Our right full back guy was disappointing against Liberia. Midfield is ok, i like Nosa, Joel and Nwankwo those guys are young, creative and combines it well with their defensive duties. Fengor is hard as a rock and hes also a utility player(we may use him as our right back) and lets hope that Keshi likes him. We know Mikel Obi, lets hope he'll play with his heart like he did against Liberia. Who's Raheem Lawal? Kalu Uche na striker oh...... We just dey misuse that guy for Super Eagles. Forward, I'm short of words. In fact once our midfield clicks and supplies them the ball, they'll deliver. Most times the problem has always been that the forwards are not getting the ball because of lack of quality midfielders. |
