In the world where people are fighting hard to lose some excess fats, Nigerian politicians are using pot belly as a symbol of wealth and power. In fact, if I were a president tomorrow, I will make sure anybody with excessive amount of body fats does not have a shot in my government. If you don't have the self discipline to keep your body weights in control, definitely you are not worthy to be trusted with the affairs of a nation. Sometimes there is a way that the physical laziness translates into mental laziness |

Instead of these people to make it easier for Nigerians to accept payment from their foreign clients in dollars, they are tightening every channel that will bring forex to this country. PayPal hasn't yet given Nigerians the ability to accept and receive payment into their Nigerian bank accounts because of the banking policies of the CBN according to PayPal. Do you know how much forex that change alone will bring to this country by making PayPal accessible to Nigerians in receiving and withdrawing dollars into their Nigerian banks? Myself alone has a lot of dollars in my foreign PayPal account but can only use it for online shopping except I want to go through the costly third-party process to withdraw the money into my Nigerian bank |

Penguin2: Zungeru power plant is a Jonathan's brainchild.
It's possible he paid FG's counterpart funding in full before he left office.
Or you want proof?
MODIFIED:
I've been clarified, and I researched too, that Zungeru power plant was conceived in 1982 by then NEPA and as such not Jonathan administration's 'brainchild'. Aside that, every of my claim above is true.
The project was never started until 2013 when GEJ kickstarted and made funds available for it under PPP.
This is same way GEJ kickstarted and paid FG counterpart funding for Second Niger Bridge under PPP but brainless fools still argue it.
This same way GEJ awarded contracts to CCECC for the upgrade of our airports including construction of New Terminals which Buhari is taking the glory today, but idiots with cow dung for brains always wanna twist the truth.
When would you fools accept that you made a terrible choice by foisting a brain dead tribal bigot as President whose administration has brought nothing but tears, raping of our wives and daughters, maiming of defenseless farmers and killing and wasting the destinies of the youth who dared protest their misgovernance?
Today, communities in Ogun and Oyo are leaving their ancestral lands for herdsmen and you can't bury your heads in shame for the disaster you brought upon yourselves trying to spite the Igbos.
Today, SE is the most peaceful region in the country because we defend our land in unison while the Murics and the Oba Akanbis of the Southwest would let the cattle take over the whole of Yoruba land than speak against the Caliphate.
One word for y'all: "We warned you"! And for those that want proof, help yourselves out of ignorance below... Enough of this hatred in every thread, even if Jonathan kick-started the project, you never had about a project abandoned by the successive government, how many electricity generated from the project when Jonathan was in office? Buhari is doing the right thing by investing in infrastructural projects for the country, if you want to talk about the Fulani's herdsmen issue, you can create another thread for that. |

That is how I killed one snake inside my living room, the snake was hunting some lizards playing around in the compound, so when I opened the door, it mistakeningly crept in, thank goodness I was able to spot it quickly because it was having a difficult time crawling on the tice, if not, my living room would have become a hunting hub for a snake. These reptiles are very creepy, they know how to hide. If you have too many lizards in your compound, watch out for snake, lizards are a perfect meal for snakes because of the shape of their body. |

Politics › Re: Niger Delta Militants Threaten To Attack Abuja And Lagos (Video) by pacespot(m): 10:51am On Feb 24, 2021 |
9jaRealist: Abegi don’t disgrace your family and village by showing you’ve never before seen (or heard of) anyone beating the stater’s gun in athletics...
Meanwhile, these sorts of armed and violent extortion (and you can add robbery, kidnapping, piracy, murder, etc., all of which these so-called “militants” have variously engaged in) have nothing to do with “rights” - unless of course there’s a right to join in stealing and looting. Stripped of all intellectual pretensions, these so-called “militancy” is merely an armed campaign to join in the general looting and stealing (while the actual PRODUCTION is carried out mostly by foreigners - albeit a few Nigerians have now joined in the production process). Already, many of the so-called “youth” leaders collect monies from oil companies every month supposedly on behalf of community ‘youths’ and spend or outrightly embezzle most (if not all) of it. Similarly, many of them‘youths’ themselves who have their names submitted for employment in oil companies only show up to collect salaries. In fact, some of the earlier “youth” and/or “militant” leaders are today some of the wealthiest people in the ND and Nigeria (Tom Ateke, Government Tompolo, Askari-Dokubo, etc.). We already know how rich MEND’s Henry Okah was in South Africa.
Let’s not fool ourselves that these so-called “militancies” have anything to do with the truly desperate plight of many poor Niger Deltans, who continue to sink into even deeper poverty even as more money is poured into the Niger Delta (through NDDC, Niger Delta Ministry, 13% Derivation Allocation, Amnesty Program, etc.) only to be looted, embezzled and stolen mostly by their own Niger Delta “leaders” and elite. Look at how well-armed with very expensive and sophisticated lethal weapons those dullards in the video are, and ponder how come they do not invest all that money into a trade or small business (eg, a grinding machine is cheaper than an AK-47). These are not folks interested in rights! > Why is it that you Nigerians love to compete with bad things, so because some people have run foul of the athletic rules in a tournament it means Nigerians can do the same? Meanwhile this lady case is different, she was the only Nigerian athlete I saw in the tournament, and she was the only person that got sanctioned. Nigerians are just notorious law breakers. On the second note, I'm not in any way saying that niger Delta militants are civil rights activists, but in an environment where nobody wants to do the right things except taking the backdoor to success, the issues like militancy and insurgency are inevitable. Corruption dampens the military morale to stand tall against these internal crises, nobody wants to make the sacrifice for a nation that is riddled in corruptions only to see few cabals looting the common wealths away. So everybody wants to take their chance in gaining access to the common wealth, that is why issues like militancy, bandits, insurgency are coming up. |

In an environment where corruption lives flamboyantly, these violent uprisings are inevitable, I just watched one IAAF world tournament that took place in 2019 where the only person representing Nigeria in the tournament, one lady called Tola Amusan, was disqualified on corruption-like charges, she tried to cheat her co-athletes in a 100 meter hurdle by taking off before the sound of the bell. She was the only Nigerian athlete I saw in the tournament and she was the only athlete disqualified in the entire tournament. Nigerians just like to cheat people except you can fight for your right.
