Nigerians went through intense hardship during the Covid19 lockdown in lagos and other states. It was highly anticipated that the president in the spirit of leadership and humanity would compensate citizens with token amount directly into their bank account via BVN. Instead they were fooling us with fake promises such as the announcement of CBN to give out Covid19 loan. Those sharing palliatives were not organized and the items could not even reach 70% of the vulnerable people in need. This is an example of bad leadership and no citizen will appreciate that gesture except those that are directly benefitting from the broken system. |
How many washing machines, freezers and motorcycles can a man use at a time. Greediness! |
bettyharry101:Original quotation by Oliver Goldsmith, but lyrics in Bob Marley song. "The Heathen" |
He who fight and runs away, leaves to fight another day. - Bob Marley |
Paperwhite:Honestly i keep figuring out why our government will hoard those palliatives that is supposed to be shared to the needy, now I know why it is possible for some greedy politicians to hoard raw cash that they supposed to use for community work inside Storex tank and Soakaway. |
If I were to be a police Boss, I will sprout wings and dive into any empty space on my sight of angry protesters. In this crazy time wey dem dey roast policeman like Suya. |
Lets call spade a spade on this palliative issue, our government didn't do well at all and there is a clear indication that we don't have a government who is compassionate about the citizens. This year has been a very difficult year in history that a lot of nigerians cannot boast of eating three square meal, or eat what they desire. While our government were hoarding palliatives , we were hearing that foreign countries went to the extent of making cash donations to their citizens. Extreme hunger and hardship is what gave birth to thuggery, and thuggery gave birth to insecurity and violence that is hunting our nation at this present days. |
By new definition, a hoodlum is anyone that looted in a way that did not benefit the poor masses. Thus, we can refer to any politician who loot public fund to his sole benefit as hoodlum. |
iLegendd:Nigerians have been hungry my broda ! See the hike in prices of commodities in the market. Dem wan kill us ? |
Hei, thank God that Hoodlums did not burn down this new Oshodi bus terminal. |
Nigeria vs Jamaica Niger boys don dey overtake jamo for craze nao. |
President jonathan may be seen as an icon of peace but he is not a man with great principles. There were so much negative influence on him during his time in office which consequently turn that administration into a looting regime. Nigeria need a leader with firm principles whose intention is to overhaul and reform the unacceptable ways that both government and public affairs are run in the country, not a leader who will timidly follow the footstep of his predecessors. |
Police officers salary should be augmented in a way that they will be contented with their income. They are doing a high risk job, and no insurance cover their lives. It is not dignifying for our uniform officers to be collecting bribe and been a threat to the citizens they should protect. |
ahiboilandgas:Government should have idea by now of how badly hunger and poverty have destroyed peoples morale. |
This situation has exposed enough weaknesses in our president. In future nigerians must consider some qualities in choosing their leader. At least someone fatherly and courageous to address the nation in a difficult time. |
Masquerade has unveil, and the wind has blown has exposed the ass of a hen. Now lagosians have seen the true color of their man. |
ProfAmaben:Our coexistence in this country is giving birth to a boiling tussle. What the southerners see as problem and government flaws is no issue in view of the Northerners. This nation is like keeping fowls and Docks in same basket. As prof Adeyeye said in the senate ground " Our constitution is the reason why there is always problem and we cannot move forward in this country" |
Has he been to the morgue to pay his condolences to those dead in the army shooting? |
Buhari should not forget those year he struggle to contest for presidency and he failed. Now he is sending gunmen to kill those who voted for him. |
The action of the security men to be shooting at harmless protesters at lekki tollgate was barbaric and evil. This is never done in advanced countries. Under such circumstances it is expected that security men should work with intelligence by separating shaft from grain among the protesters in lieu of sporadic gunshot with aim of wasting innocent lives. |
Lawalemi:They will engage the youth when election is due. |
It is just a shame that our police are the promoters of bad behavior such as bribery, extortion, drinking on duty and rape at times. Those who have visited europe will testify that police are well respected in countries like uk, france and Germany. Their police respect their uniform and will never collect bribe from anyone nor matter the amount. I hope nigerian police will emulate similar conduct and also stop harassment of innocent citizens. |
Enough is enough ! Nigerians must avoid the idea of colonia leadership henceforth. Concerned authorities must reform present laws in a way to give chance to new generation leaders who are modernizers and enthusiastic in promoting the welfare of our majority poor citizens. |
You cannot use tearful money buy laughter. |
There is no human feeling in them. |
Nigeria is great outside, but its bullshit inside. |
myBraine:My broda wake up ! Take the census of hungry and jobless lagosians. See people dying silently of deceases that are curable due to no finance. Then look at faces on the street of lagos and tell how many people are smiling happily. Leaders with questionable wealth should not be appreciated in the society. |
dangermouse:Peaceful protest is part of citizens right in a democratic society, while violence and sabotage during protests are elements of thuggery. |
Police brutality against citizens during any peaceful protest is barbaric and a violation of human right. Nigerians have right to demonstrate their grievances and should be immune against assault from the law enforcers. Organizers of civil protests should also not take law to their hands to avoid aggressive action of police. |
stevenson007:The generation of colonia leadership should be put to an end in this country. Nigeria is blessed with loyal and intelligent leaders from all our geo-political zones who are modernizers. Our party policy is barbaric and not fit for purpose. |
ILoveDemMANNA:How can Nigeria be great again when tribalism and favouritism is the order of the day. They don't nominate appointments based on who is most qualified, but rather on tribal and religion sentiment. You will always find great individuals but not a great nation. |
From physical appearances, the deceased is overweight, and likely to have high body mass index. A heart attack is the likely cause if death. People that are overweight with heavy breathing and snoring habit should always do exercise and check their BP to avoid sudden death. |
