Hello Everyone, it gladdens my heart to know that many people are beginning to embrace Geo-Information Sciences and that fact alone gladdens my heart. Judging from the responses on this thread and the e-mails that I have received, I realize that many of us still yearn for more information on GIS. I want to suggest with the permission of integrityfood (he owns the thread) that people who have some knowledge about the field share their information and expertise on this thread for the benefit of all. As an individual, I'm willing to do my bit. Over to you, Mr integrityfood.

PoliticsObafaye, ‘my Oga At The Top’ Resumes As NSCDC Oyo State Boss. by PalmTree(op): 10:33pm On May 13, 2013
The former Lagos State Commandant of Nigeria
Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Mr. Shem
Obafaye, who postulated the ”My Oga at the top”
mantra has finally resumed duty as Oyo State
Commandant of the security agency.
Obafaye was replaced by Mr. Adesuyi Clement from
Oyo State Command after his interview on
Channels Television live programme ‘Sunrise’
about two months ago. Since then, no specific
assignment was given to him until last week when
he was asked to replace Adesuyi officially.
In a telephone conversation
with Vanguard, Obafaye
promised to discharge his
duties with every sense of
responsibility. ”I am
determined to serve in Oyo
State and I know God will
help me,” he said.
Obafaye’s redeployment may
not be unconnected with the
interview he granted to Channels Television.
His ordeal started when he was asked during the
interview the NSCDC website and he said:
“Hmmm, the website is, excuse me, my Oga at the
top knows the website”. He again, cleared his
throat and said: “My Oga at the top is working on
the website and I don’t have them”.
When the presenters insisted that he give a
functioning website address of the para-military
outfit, he dropped the bombshell: “ww.nscdc that’s
all”.
Immediately, the interview went viral and has
become so popular to the extent that t-shirts with
“my oga at the top” insignia were produced and
sold like hot cake across the country. DJs and
musicians also did what they called ‘a remix’ of the
phrase.
Meanwhile, this latest development has put to an
end, speculations that Mr Obafaye had been sacked
on the orders of the Minister of Interior, who
supervises the NSCDC. But authorities of NSCDC
had continuously denied taking any disciplinary
action against the embattled commandant.

Why for the purpose of testing anti-bullet YAS, one should aim the forehead, it's odd, because the underlying principle of anti-bullet YAS is not to defy death/danger, it's meant to provide escape during danger while some versions are meant for fierce battle in the ancient time, however, if you are willing to stake a substantial amount of money, I will procure a version of the numerous anti-bullet YAS and you need do is just to bring your videocamera, and a goat or native fowl for the test, accept? I am serious.
Do we really need to test the YAS using a goat or fowl? If you are so sure of the YAS, I will take up the challenge (Name the PRICE) and I'll test it on you.

So where is nanizle when one needs him? Infact each and every one of you atheist on NL are not coming up at all. Forget about the MR issue, this is a great avenue for you to test if there is any supernatural force out there. For God's sake a man claims to be able to stop a "tested and ok" vehicle from starting using diabolical means! Give it a trial, if his claims are valid then maybe its a step further in your quest to know if a supernatural being actually exist. I'm sure if Richard Dawkins etal could see this they'll take it up instantly.
@Ghostofsparta, I do not question the veracity of your claims, however since all these atheists who usually blab against supernatural forces are already hiding behind their index finger, could you please perform your art and let's see? I try to organize other curious NL's to foot the bills.

You haven't been following this thread right? Did you even read the OP at all? Anyways ghostofsparta claims to have such juju so tell him.
Dear ghostofsparta and other readers, we have a match! nanizle has taken up the challenge, he has contested the op's claims... Game on!

Juju man wey no even know anytin about the electromechanics of an automobile (which scientists and engineers took many many years to develop) wan come use jazz interfere with automobile operation. This sounds so ridiculous.

Our oyinbo people are busy breaking new ground in medical and scientific research... new drugs and new technology are being made available to the world saving countless lives here in Naija. Naija peeps still dey believe juju nonsense and BM.

How as your belief in juju and BM benefited the socio-economic development of our beloved Naija?? Let us focus our attention on relevant things.

ABEG OP, SHEY E FIT STOP LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR? I GET ONE... BRING THE JUJU MAKE I TEST AM grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Why don't you just take up the challenge and save yourself all this stress?
Christianity EtcRe: Billyonaire, Kindly Accept My Supernatural Challenge To A Bet Amount by PalmTree(m):
omonuan: What is this supposed to accomplish? So you have now moved from turning human heads into ATM to making a car not to start with your Yoruba Juju? It is not very difficult to make even a brand new car not to start. You do not need juju to do this you can fiddle with the car and then claim it is juju that is preventing it from starting. If the genius Yoruba juju men could not conceive the manufacture of a car, how can they through mysticism make it not to start? give a break dude! Billionaire does not need to take the challenge, just do it and post the video here online lets see.

It is sad that while creative minds all over the world are thinking of how to turn simple ideas into money spinner, Nigerians are busy with their incongruent " jujujized" nonsense. These Yoruba Juju men could not make Abacha's goons stop the hounding of Yoruba men and they did not make him hand over power to Abiola.
Your post is quite admirable, yet I believe that you, billiyonaire and a host of other people who have contested the OP's claims and have aimed to debunk the yoruba advanced sciences should not be "scared" of taking up this challenge. Forget about what the Yoruba juju men cannot do! However if you decide not to take up the challenge, let's all wait for he in whose name this thread was opened.

Secondly, whatever stops a brand new car from starting is obviously a factory fault. You should probably read the OP again, he will only "jujulize" the car after billiyonaire or his mech has certified the car OK. That to me should proof something... Don't try to rubbish this, take up the challenge or look on.

Good to read from you too. What do you mean by O/I? From which source did you get the information that some schools only admit students with science background? The only problem I see here is that you have a HND certificate which only qualifies you for a PGD in GIS. Do you have the funds to pursue the degree abroad? If yes then by all means do! Like I have posted earlier, no university in Nigeria can equip you with even half of what you will need to survive in this field because GIS is very technical and you will need hands on training and experience to keep above water. To everyone reading this thread, focus and resilience is the key to surviving in any field. If you want to pursue a career in GIS, take a customized training in GIS, database management, computer programing, desktop publishing and web design. Don't be discouraged by the cost of training, surely as you advance in the field you will be gratified. The MGIS degree you want will just add to your profile... You'll all agree with me that IT wise in Nigeria, we are quite backward, so let's bring ourselves up to speed. Finally, if integrityfood doesn't mind a PGD GIS in Unilorin, I could help you with some information.

Christianity EtcRe: “Paganism Is Man-made”....Do You Agree? by PalmTree(m): 6:26pm On Apr 24, 2013
All religions are man-made. Christianity for one developed from the apostles when some folks back then in Antioch decided that the apostles were behaving "Christ like". Then there was no church or whatever, however christianity which was meant to be a way of life metamorphosed into a religion... Then this delusion started. Christianity: just lead a life that is christ like, a life that where you don't do things that muscle down your conscience.

Some "church goers" will read this and condemn the parents when they also listen to same if not worse gibberish in their respective churches weekly. None of them has ever tried to contest the absurd interpretations of the Holy Bible. If the parents foolishness had worked and the child by some miraculous intervention survived, they will be here praising their faith and attributing folly to miracles, smh. Imagine the clown of a Pastor who serves this couple with poo every sunday, he'll be like their faith wasn't strong enough or God had called the righteous home, a toddler? Has he accomplished his mission on earth or he was just supposed to be some passerby spectator? The parents should be duly charged and sentenced! Best case scenario: the remaining kids should be placed finally in foster care which is by miles better than some psychopathic dad&mum... The parents should be banned from having any future kids! Shalom.

Just as Tbaba has posted, Moslems don't eat pork because Allah said so, not because of some gibberish compiled by the OP. The OP could have admitted to this instead of trying to reconcile science with religion. in fact even as a xtain I sometimes ask myself
such questions as the "eden issue"

@ striklymi, I was referring to myself with the above and not you.
Now, back to the issue, you mean that God does not design the way a man's life churns out but He knows how it will churn out? Please is there another being out there apart from God that creates the design? Or are you saying God gave man the ability to design for himself while He 'God' is already aware of the outcome? Please clarify.
