African countries should withdraw their membership from the International Criminal Court (ICC). African countries should not hand over their citizens to a supposedly international court. |
Nigeria's extradition treaty with the United States, which was signed on December 22, 1931, by the United Kingdom, should be cancelled. When has the United States ever handed over her citizens to a foreign nation? In practice, extradition treaties with the United States work in only one direction. Such treaties should be revoked by the other country. |
There was no problem. The CBN governor, with the backing of the Presidency, created a problem. The CBN governor and his team are now trying to solve the problem, to make it look like they are working. |
If the NLC had gone on strike earlier, they would probably have been accused of trying to frustrate the elections. |
adenigga:The CBN governor is taking orders from a foreign group. The enforced cashless policy may be one of the conditions imposed on the country for taking loans. In the statement made by the CBN governor, nothing was said about the availability of naira notes, whether old or new. Godwin Emefiele is not even concerned about whether the present cashless transactions are effective. If there is no cash, and the present cashless transactions are not effective, this would be an excuse for Godwin Emefiele to impose eNaira upon the whole country, as this was his original intention. |
The United States government does not even want Ukraine to win. They just want the conflict to continue indefinitely in order to weaken Russia. |
From the narrative, the police in Northern Cyprus raided an apartment and arrested over 50 Nigerians. The is no evidence of crime in this story, only assumptions simply because they are Nigerians. |
onyxo76:The purpose of the "redesign" was to confiscate cash across the country. There was never really a redesign project. It was a naira notes removal project. The Central Bank governor's plan is to eliminate cash, and enforce a cashless policy across the country. |
The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria. EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria". |
There can only be one World Cup winner. 48 teams are too many for one competition, which is expected to be played over a period of one month. FIFA should consider the health of the players in the top four teams, who would have to play in eight matches instead of seven, as in previous World Cups. |
The National Assembly should call Godwin Emefiele, and ask what steps he has taken to comply with the Supreme Court's ruling. If Godwin Emefiele does not give a satisfactory answer, then the National Assembly should vote to remove him from office. |

Tataffo:This is not about vote buying at all. The Central Bank governor is determined to enforce a cashless policy. Previously, Central Bank governor introduced enaira, but this had very poor acceptance. Now, he has brought about a naira confiscation project, by using a deceptive naira swap policy. The Central Bank is probably not acting on its own, but on the instructions of a foreign group. As for the Presidency, there must be a reason for its support of the actions of the Central Bank. Are there some things that the general public has not been told? Is the Presidency trying to avoid being exposed? |

Hopez456:Are private boreholes, for water, permitted in Benin Republic? |
rotecch77:Thank you for your reply. |
Considering its geographical location, how come Araromi Beach, Ilaje is in Ondo State, and not part of Ogun State? Is there any history behind this?

Come, Thou almighty King, Help us Thy name to sing, Help us to praise: Father all-glorious, O'er all victorious, Come, and reign over us, Ancient of Days! |
deji17:The naira notes removal project is from the orders of a foreign or international group, to enforce a cashless policy, and establish control over everybody's finances. The Edo State governor is probably representing a foreign or international institution. In September 2021, against a court order, he tried to enforce covid jabs for all residents in the state. |
Is the federal government planning to impose a lockdown across the whole country? |
Usually, we do not bother with all these details. In our daily transactions, many of us simply take money from others and put it into our pockets, wallets or handbags. The most practical method of detecting fake currency is to feel it; and in case it doesn't feel right, check the ribbon/thread. |
The Central Bank's primary duty is to make cash available. All these distracting statements should be put aside. |

The Central Bank is the cause of the scarcity of naira notes. Those who are selling new naira notes are taking advantage of the scarcity, but they are not the cause of the scarcity. This is not a naira redesign project. This is a cash removal project. The Central Bank's action has been deliberate. This is not an issue of incompetence or making a mistake. The enforced cashless policy is all about control. There is certainly foreign or international pressure on the Central Bank to eliminate cash. |
The Central Bank is the cause of the scarcity of naira notes, and its actions have been deliberate. This is not a naira redesign project. This is a cash removal project. The Central Bank has started a financial war; a war between the Central Bank administration with its foreign sponsors, against the general population of the country. How can the Central Bank and the Presidency be comfortable with the fact that people have resorted to trading in foreign currency (CFA) within the country? The enforced cashless policy is all about control. There is certainly foreign or international pressure on the Central Bank to eliminate cash. |

The Central Bank is the cause of the scarcity of naira notes, and its actions have been deliberate. There have been currency hawkers for decades, but there has not been an issue of scarcity of naira notes, until now. The Central Bank has started a financial war; a war between the Central Bank administration with its foreign sponsors, against the general population of the country. The enforced cashless policy is all about control. There is certainly foreign or international pressure on the Central Bank to eliminate cash. |
The Central Bank is the cause of the new notes scarcity, and its actions have been deliberate. The scarcity of new notes is not targeted at politicians, but at everybody in the country. The Central Bank is not concerned about the activities of politicians. The enforced cashless policy is not about the economy, but about control. There is probably foreign or international pressure on the Central Bank to eliminate cash. |
It appears as if the Central Bank's plan is not really to change the currency notes, but to frustrate the use of cash and enforce a cashless policy. This was most likely suggested by a foreign government or by an international financial institution. The argument that the Naira redesign is targeted at the elite who hoard cash, is just a distraction. The "Naira redesign", which is actually Naira notes removal, is not targeted at the elite, but at everybody in the country. |
